I am so disappointed. Could not wait to receive this hat. When it arrived it was folded and a wreck. Doesn't even resemble the hat in the picture.

Hat Attack Panama Continental - rating is for hat, not Zappos. Yes to previous reviewers on need for accurate sizing info, great hat height and most impt - specific packing instructions. I also ordered in another color but arrived smashed and torn. Sad, because hat is cute and cost could go down with less ruined inventory. Navy one looks like black, was packed in air pockets and arrived intact. Hat runs big and is lightweight. Blew away on a breezy day so I put some self-adhesive weather stripping on inside of band for a tighter fit. "Sweatband" in description is literally a cream colored ribbon that should be foundation colored so makeup and sweat don't show. Wider brim than a fedora, great proportions for my round face & straw breathes unlike synthetics. Keeps me from getting sunburned. Hat gets 5 stars, Zappos rarely gets less, but on this one they get 2 or 3 (sorry!).

Hat arrived bent due to poor packing (the reviews were correct about this issue - not sure why Zappos does not correct this) and the hat itself is large - OS only - and the band was nearly white...which if I had kept the hat, would likely become dirty from summer use. I liked the style, yet due to packaging damage, large size and impracticality, it was not a good choice.

Arrived smashed into a shoebox so it looked a bit like a lopsided cowboy hat. I returned it. I can't believe no one at Zappo's is paying attention to these reviews and teaching their shipping personnel to put a hat in a box big enough that it fits. It's a shame because I really could use a hat like that.

I never got to try this hat on. When I received it, it was absolutely destroyed! I was hoping Zappos might actually read the reviews and rectify the problem with the hat by shipping it in a larger box, maybe even a hat box....... Unfortunately, they have not! Needless to say the hat was returned.

This review is not for the hat itself but for Zappos. Why would you take this perfectly good hat and smash it into a tiny box such that it is ruined? Between this and my last order from Zappos being botched three times, I have lost all faith.

This is horrible company. Why would the stuff my hat in a too small box. It was totally ruin. & when I called customer service was on hold to 30 minutes and couldn't get through. Really angry at the time I wasted.

I have been searching for the perfect Panama hat for years and this is it!!! It fits my head perfectly. I wear a size S/M and it fits like a glove. The top of the hat is not too tall (that was the problem I had with so many other hats I would try on) and it's just an overall flattering hat. This is going to be a staple in my spring/summer wardrobe. LOVE!

A bit big and exact sizing would be helpful. I love Zappos but the hat Arrived crumpled and dented as it was not properly packaged for shipping. Other reviews mentioned this but it was an older review and was hopeful that Zappos got their act together on shipping hats.

This is such a Beautiful Hat. I was so excited when it arrived. But it was crushed in the box, there was no trying to straighten it out. had to return

Unfortunately, it arrived completely smashed. It won't adjust back into shape.
