These were almost great, combining the cool of sandals with the style of booties. They look better in the picture, though. The part that goes up around the ankle is more of a gray than it looks in the pic, and looks cheaper. Still, I really wanted these to work, so I wore them around the house for a bit just to test drive them, but when my toes started to slide down over the front of the shoe (common issue with heel sandals), I decided to return them. They were comfy, though, and looked ok with skinny jeans.

I really wanted to like these, they seemed to have just the right amount of funk from the photos. But when I put them on they just looked completely strange, like I was wearing half a shoe. Not the kind of funky I was hoping for!

I am always a size 8M, but the tip of my big toes poked over the end and the straps cut across my toes and tops of my feet. The shoes look like the picture but somehow not as cute in person - materials seem cheap - the perforated side panel looks like plastic. That is disappointing for rather expensive shoes. I returned them. Thanks, Zappos, for having such great shipping/return policies!

I ordered stone and the fabric color was a really bad taupe, didn't resemble online picture at all. It also just looked cheaper and not as nice quality as in picture.
