Tight around the ankel

It's a rare shoe that's as comfy and supportive as it is cute. Wore these for days at an event and then days off exploring cobblestone streets and never regretted it.

I'm going through a metallic sandal phase right now but wasn't finding a style that appealed. I love Shay's gladiator-meets-wedge vibe and decided to pretend that Stone was as versatile and fun as metallic. I ordered a 40 to fit my 9.5m feet. I wanted to love the sandals, but I was disappointed on several fronts. 1) The color was off between each sandal (one more gray, one more taupe). 2) The angle of the wedge was off too. I wore them in my house for an hour and felt like I was walking on the balls of my feet. 3) The molded footbed, which you can see when you check out the back view of the sandal, occasionally hit a "zing" spot in my left foot, right where all my weight shifted to with the wedge--it's doubtful I would have been able to wear them for all day. Ultimately, I realized that as much as I wanted them to work, I have to send them back.

Great shoe. runs small as this brand does overall. I am returning bc mine I received were a a little small and b THEY WERE WORN. Like the tread was worn off. Now they don't have any in my size to exchange it for.

These are really cute and a good fit, but unfortunately there is not enough arch support for me to wear for very long.

Wow, what a great lookin' shoe that seems to be designed with comfort in mind. I am usually a size 10, with a bit of a high arch, and sadly my feet do not fit this shoe in a 10 quite right, it's just a tad too small. However, the quality is top, notch, and the overall feel of the leather is soft. Wish these were a better fit for my fussy feet. Maybe 10.5 will become available for me to try.

Beautiful shoes...very comfortable...one complaint is that the straps are not adjustable and were loose.

Not much a fan of the color “red”. Also I agree with some of the reviews…the arch not in a good place and the strap rubbed against the outside ankle.

The color was not close to scarlet. As another said it’s more rust. Fit did not work..too small and left rubbed my heel. Sad, but have to return. Based on other reviews the next size will be too big.

For $200 shoes I would have hoped they would have been more comfortable but there's absolutely no padding or insole. I've had to add an insole and heel cushion to make them bearable. They also run a bit narrow across the ball of the foot and only make medium or narrow widths. I tried their closed toe shoes and they run incredibly narrow across the ball and toe of the foot so I had to return them. I wish this company would make foot shaped shoes and boots for women.

I wanted to like these so much...and they are cute, however the way they did the ankle straps is just kind of weird. They attached them on an angle so on the outside where they go into the shoe, the leather sags. The worst is how tight they are around the ankle, even with elastic and leather after wearing them for 5 min they indented my skin. I think if you had skinny ankles (I'm average size) they would work. The footbed was SO comfortable

The strapping was too loose everywhere for my foot. I don’t buy narrow shoes ever but if this shoe came in a narrow I would definitely try it. So cute but sent back.

They fit me but after a few hours the left shoe rubbed a blister on my inside heel. Shame because they are so cute.

There is some part of the zipper or stitching that poked me in the ankle and I couldn't figure out a way to make it stop, so I am sending them back. I may try another pair, hopefully this was a one off.

If you have narrow feet don’t even bother! These ran wide. As a previous review stated, the straps also are not for small ankles and fell. I felt like the material looked cheaper in person as well. Going back...

So cute and comfortable but I wish the straps around the ankle all could be adjusted so I could tighten them around my ankle. I have to return them because of that.

These are very cute sandals, but since I have narrow feet, did not work for me. The straps across the foot - except for one which I could adjust - are too wide for my feet. I wish they had run more narrow!

Loved the style.. but the shoe bent at an odd angle for me and therefore the arch support was completely wrong. Unfortunately, felt awful. Had to return.

These seemed really comfortable for the few minutes I wore them around the house, but I wore them to work one time and something on the right shoe continuously stabbed the bottom of my foot all day. I hate it, but they have to go back.

The arch is in completely the wrong place- too far back. Also, the bottom of the heel is too narrow for a wedge, and made me wobbly. The whole point of a wedge is stability, so I'm disappointed. Back they go.

I love the design, but the straps around the ankles were loose on me - I have fairly skinny ankles but nothing too far off average. Also, they do have a worn look about them - the soles on the pair I received looked dirty! - Maybe this is simply the style, but it seemed odd. Also, the whiskey color reads as greenish on my screen, but in person seemed much more golden. I do love the style, and Miz Mooz shoes have been awesome to me through many, many pairs. These aren't for me but I will try again.

This style is not suitable for my narrow foot. I am fine with the ankle straps being loose but the unadjustable strap across the top of the foot is half an inch too long. Other than that they cute and comfortable. I am still deciding if I will take them to a shoe shop to have the top unadjustable straps shortened or send them back.

I sooooo wanted to love these shoes! The style was super cute, the foot bed felt like it would have been comfortable if it fit and the leather was super soft. Unfortunately, I first tried the 39 which is my normal Euro size and the foot bed felt too short but the rest fit ok. I tried the 40 and the foo tbed was a little bit long but it would have been ok, had it not been that the straps then become too loose and I was sloshing around in them. Total bummer! I had to return these too. I normally wear an 8.5 but maybe if I was a full size instead of a half, one of them would have worked.

These are definitely more rust/orange than tomato in color. Straps too loose even with adjustment. Overall there are much better sandals out there for this price!
