Customer Reviews New Balance MW813 Hook and Loop

These are the most comfortable shoes for my wide diabetic feet. This is my fourth pair. The only downside is they don't last long enough.

I've purchased three pairs of the 813 in the past and I've have been happy with fit and wear.

NEEDS BETTER IN SOLE, SOMETHING SOFTER OR REBOUND, WILL HALF TO PICK UP SOMETHING AT WALLY LIKE ELESTIC ON THE HOOK AND LOOP

The shoes were fine. I didn't wear them. Once they arrived, I tried them on. I ordered the size of show that I have worn for years. These were too short and I returned them right away. Apparently, their system continues to seek a review. I'm writing this in hopes that I will not get asked again.

I will use these to walk and workout but they seem to be a bit more narrow than the ones I used to wear. We'll see after I break them in.

The review Headline, as defaulted by NB is accurate, in this case. I have purchased many pairs of the 813. I wore them at work, moving around on the concrete floor all day. Now retired, I have found use for the 813 again. The current situation has forced the closures of the gyms I attend. As a result, taking long walks has been my exercise, of late. I was happy to find the 813 included in the email sale that NB informed me of. I've found that the 813 still works the best for me.

The purchasing process didn't incorporate well with the available discount advertised. Instead of getting a 25% discount I got bupkis after jumping through all the hoops. Sure, sure, it turned out that the model shoe I was able to find IN MY SIZE (since the model I wanted that WAS on sale wasn't available in my size) wasn't included in the sale so that was a huge disappointment. It seems like all my interactions with purchasing NB shoes end up with me getting bamboozled in some way. If I go to a store they'll insist that I don't know my own size and I end up in an uncomfortable shoe...the last pair being incredibly expensive. I had hoped that this was my solution to get something affordable...but noooooooooooooo. Bent over yet again.

have the lace-version and they are comfortable. The problem I have with the lace version is the laces stretch after a while and then I step on them and they untie. Decided to try the hook & loop version: so much easier and no laces to step on and untie! I was pleasantly surprised the hook and loop strap has places to trim them if they are too long when closed - GREAT IDEA! I am on my feet all day at work and have foot issues, and these New Balance sneakers accommodate my orthotics easily and I can wear them all day without any problems.

The fit is good, though I would prefer them to be a little wider yet since I have really wide feet. The shoe is a good quality and I would buy it again.

I usually but a better upgrade of shoe, made a bad choice on these. they are not as good as the other shoes I bought before.

WIth a back problem I wanted a shoe I could clasp without turning myself into a bent over old man for the rest of the morning. Of course, being in lock down I am not using shoes, but as soon as it is lifted I will be back using these. The 4E has a wide toe box so these are just very comfortable.

I would make the collar leather instead of the mesh. It is hard to clean with the mesh.

I use these for work some days and I have to get in and out of a large van each time. They are we cushioned and comfortable as well as stable. I have some physical issues related to old injuries and these shoes provide the comfort that I need on a daily basis. Very good, close to perfect.

Good leather walking shoes that is comfortable and not look like sneakers. It looks good with jeans and khaki. Could have added more cushioning like my 840 shoes.

I normally wear a size 11 EEE but had to order a half size larger as all of these walking shoes run smaller. The toe box appears not to be as restrictive or as shallow with the 11.5.

I'm having Hip Replacement Surgery in a few weeks and these shoes will greatly assist my recovery while in PT

I was looking for a shoe that I could wear with dress pants. I like the looks of the shoes and the fit. I cannot testify about the wear.

I'm a US Mailman and as you know all we do is walk. The shoes strings definitely keep coming loose, but I double knot them. It does run big, but I've learned to buy them a half size smaller. My heel does kill me, but an insole with heel support works just fine. A little tip: I don't buy insoles with gel because they melt. The massaging dots do just fine.

Color is great and my arthritis thanks you. Great shoe for 80+ person.

These are great for minimal tasks, but not comfortable for all day use. Tasks that include lounging all day, but you need to go throw the trash. Tasks that include slipping these bad boys on to walk to the corner store for a pack of Natty's. Tasks that include questioning the work ethic of millennials(I am one). Tasks that include grabbing the daily to check the weather forecast.

I need size 14 but narrow width. 14 D is too wide. Is there a narrower width available? I added additional inner soles and the shoes work for me.

Casual shoe for daily activities. Prior to wearing this new pair, I was having a tendonitis issue in my right thigh. Since wearing and alternating to this pair, no pain!
