Wonderful sneaker. The hook and loop are great for a 77 year-old guy with chronic back problems.

Because this shoe has a solid toe it is good to use for shifting gears on my motorcycle tryke. The boots I have for my two wheeler will not fit between the gear lever and the floor boards on the tryke and this shoe does. It has a good fit and is sturdy.

Extremely comfortable right from the start. Will definitely purchase again.

For routine daily activities and light work these are great. They provide lots of support and lateral stability. The slightly elevated heel gives a small amount of forward momentum that takes some weight off the knees and hips. These are just perfect for a guy over 70. Thanks New Balance!

I use these as a casual dress shoe. They give much better comfort than a regular dress shoe and the look is similar.

I was a runner for 30 years and always purchased New Balance. New Balance was and is my shoe of choice because I can get a shoe made in the USA and also I have a narrow foot and have a choice of widths. I am now 85 years old and confined to walking which I do at 4 mph 4 times per week.

Recently purchased 4 pairs of Men's Hook and Loop 813s. Two of the four pairs did not fit properly. The right shoe was shorter than the left shoe. The other two pairs of Hook and Loop 813s fit ok.

We have been sheltered in place since February as high risk. When i noticed holds in my shoes and refused to go out, i discovered the New Balance site! New Balance have always been my brand and from selection, to pricing, to direct from NB it was easy and a great experience. Shoes showed up, slipped them on, felt the perfect NB fit and walked on. I was looking for an affordable shoe that was made in USA. After some research, I was familiar with the New Balance name so I went on their website. Terrific shoe for all activities especially for someone 6' 2".

I have super wide feet, a very high instep, wear an orthotic in the shoe for my high arches and these shoes are very comfortable. I am able to wear these to my business casual office, unlike other "tennis shoes".

Just an everyday most comfortable shoes I've owned.

I would like the Velcro piece on the shoe to extend further down towards the sole It would keep the shoe looking better without the end flopping around.

These shoes fit me very well, are comfortable to wear all day, and good for walking..

Have been wesring this show in white and in black for dress up for about 20 years. Have issues that the 813 helps me with immensely.

Shoes are very comfortable and fit per size. Able to remove & insert brace i wear.
