These are cute sandals if you do not look too closely. In short - they are cheap shoes, and they are constructed and feel like cheap shoes. The leather straps are rough and scratchy, the footbed feels like plastic, and the sole is glued on. Not everything has to be a Frye or a Fluevog, so these sandals are probably on point if you are looking for a one-season fling. If you want something that is of decent quality, keep looking.

The fit was true to size. The straps dug into my feet at first but I think they will break in and be comfortable. I like the style and quality!

Super cute sandals! Love them! I bought 1/2 size larger as suggested by other reviewers, I felt like it was unnecessary. I can still wear them, they are just loose and I can take them on and off with the buckle still attached.

I purchased these sandals for my daughter several weeks ago and she has worn them practically every day since! Not only are they made well, they are very attractive and comfortable as well. No complaints. As for size, my daughter wears a solid size nine, however, there was only a 9.5 available and they fit perfectly so I'd say the sandals run small.

I looked everywhere for these last year, but couldn't find them in my size. This year, after reading the reviews, I was sure I would have to send them back. Good news, they're perfect! The buckle is fine, the toe isn't too tight, and they are adorable! True, there is no arch support, but I didn't expect any. Very happy with my purchase.

I have basically been wearing these non-stop since June. It's September now, and I wore them again today. I wear them to work, I've worn them on vacation in Hawaii (which is why I really bought them), I wear them on the weekends and out shopping. I think I was a lucky one, they actually fit me around the heel - on the very last hole! I saw all the reviews about the heel strap and I defiantly ordered them anyway because I wanted them. I am really, really glad I did. If they had a smidgen of cushion they'd get 5 stars, but my legs seriously ache after walking around for hours at the mall (you should roll your eyes at this, but it's a true assessment.) Also, their nickname has become The Stranglers since they do choke my big toe when my feet get puffed up from the heat and such - mostly after a very hot day like on vacation. The price we pay. In any case, I have been wearing them to work for months now, and they are far less, hey, I'm wearing sandals than flip flops, and the fact that they're gold elevates them to classy. I have been loving them to bits, and I hope next year the heel strap and absence of shock absorption are resolved next year. You hearing this, Mr. Madden?

Awesome sandals! Felt true to size and were exactly what I wanted. No arch support, for those who need more comfortable shoes, these aren't those. However, my feet are more than happy to sightsee in them for 6+ hours a day walking, no problem! Personal preference. Very pleased!

These shoes are super cute but they definitely run small. I ordered an 8.5 and usually wear an 8 or 8.5 in sandals and the buckle strap on these didn't even come close to fitting.

Get a 1/2 size up! Adorable shoes, great fit, was just too small....having to return...

The shoes are very well made and sturdy. My only complaint is that they do hit and run on my ankles, which drives me a little crazy. They do run small and I had to return and go up a 1/2 size.

Was nervous ordering these after reading some of the reviews. However, they are great! True to size and width. The ankle strap is a tad short, I have to use the last hole, but they buckle and are comfortable.

Was hoping these were like a sandal Steve Madden had 2 years ago but they weren't. Very uncomfortable. Leather was thick and hard. Straps on the left sandal were a lot tighter than the right. Uncomfortable.

The shoe is cute, comfortable and looks great. Unfortunately, the toe strap on one of them broke after just a few wears.

Super cute shoe, however, the strap is too short and you can't buckle shoe when its on the back of your heel and not at your ankle! I hate to return, but I was too frustrated trying to see buckle behind me. Maybe try sizing up for a longer strap for those who want to try it.

I liked these shoes very much. They width and length are perfect. But, the strap was an inch too short to go around the back of my foot. They did not come close to being able to buckle.

I usually have no problems with shoes, but I could not get this shoe to fit on my foot! I had trouble getting my toe through the toe loop and then, because of that, I couldn't get my foot deep enough into the shoe to buckle it. I tried two sizes and no luck - had to return them.

I really wanted to love this sandal. But I couldn’t get there. Why? Because the color was not true to the ones online. Online, the leather was a deep, rich brown, but in reality, the color was a muddy, washed-out brown. I was very disappointed and returned them.?? See photo.

Love the Steve Madden brand, but this was a very disappointing purchase. Based on other reviews, I bought a full size larger than usual hoping to alleviate the problem with the strap, but it was still too short. There is literally NO WAY you can buckle it once your foot is inside the shoe. I have to think this is a factory defect. A little QC would have prevented this shoe from reaching the market.
