Loved the shoe! The medium width was very narrow.

very narrow and tight but very attractive and feminine

This wold have been my third pair of Eric Michael shoes, unfortunately, this particular style and size were way off the mark! Was really looking forward to getting. Tried ordering the next size up, the width was really narrow as well Darn!

I usually wear a 7.5 or 8, and have a narrow, flat foot. The toe box in this shoe was ok, but I can imagine if worn for many hours, my toes might begin to hurt. Great heel height - shorter than most espadrilles, but not flat.

Be specific about your likes and dislikes. How was the fit and size? What does the material feel like? How awesome (or not) do you feel wearing them?

Too narrow

Such a cute shoe! Love the suede look and strappy detail on the heel. Toe area was plenty wide enough but unforutnately too tight at the opening. Wanted to love these but not taking the chance that I'll regret it after a couple of hours.

Beautiful shoe, but the opening into which you inserted your toes was VERY narrow and stitched across, so no stretching to be had. I really wanted to keep it, but the outside of my foot said NO

Looked cute online, but sadly had to go back. I couldn’t even get the shoe on, runs a full size too small.

Too narrow....

Still searching for a smart comfy navy blue shoe. I thought perhaps I had found it in these shoes. When I took it out of the box, it was beautiful & well-made. When I tried it on — it was so tight across the leather at the top of the toe that my foot fell out the side of the shoe and got pinched. So this shoe was not just uncomfortable, it actually hurt!! I normally wear a 9M or 9B. The website recommended 39, maybe 40 would have been better. The whole shoe was tight but only the leather at the top of the toes hurt. I had to, of course, return these. This shoe may work better for a more narrow foot. So the search continues…..

I really wanted to love these shoes and out of the box I did. After wearing them indoors for about 30 minutes I had blisters on pinky toes. Sadly they had to go back.

Not as comfortable as expected

After reading reviews noting that the shoe was on the narrow side, I decided to order my normal size (36) and the next size up (37) to see if one of them would fit. Unfortunately, size 36 fit length wise but not width wise while size 37 fit width wise but not length wise. I will say that I have bunion issues, so the width probably wouldn't have been an problem if I have more normal feet. That said, the shoe itself looks great and the sole is super comfortable. I really wished it worked out, but unfortunately both pairs will be returned.

Super cute shoe, however, very narrow. I do not have wide feet. Ordering up would have made it too big. Bummer!

Beautiful shoe! Not very comfortable. The front of the shoe pinches my foot and there is no way I could walk in these for long, so I am unfortunately returning them.

Too narrow and too short in length. I wear an 8 and the 8-8.5 (Euro 39) was still too short as well as being too narrow. Also, didn’t care for the extreme pointy toe. Would have been more attractive with an almond toe.

Too bad! Was looking for a closed toe espadrille with a pointed toe. Hard to find. Eric Micheal is my go to brand. Felt more like a 9.5. Back they go!

This shoe is gorgeous! It's beautiful and beautifully made. But believe the reviewers who tell you it is very narrow. I have a moderate to wide foot; I usually can wear B width no problem. I could not even get the shoe on past my big toe joint. I wish I could!!! If you have really narrow feet, BUY IT! If you have even normal feet, don't waste your time.

I wanted the reviews to be wrong, but they are spot-on. The shoes are adorable, but narrow and uncomfortable in the toe. Unfortunately, I have to return them.

Very narrow across the toes. The were so tight I thought the fabric must be folded over or something.
