These are the best looking and the best quality of hiking boots I've ever encountered. I don't know what else to say, I am a fan.

Truly amazing. Waterproof. Hearty. Comfortable. Stylish. Yes, I am a real person. I love these boots. They do not pinch any where. Never in my life have I had a hiking boot that hasn't pinched. I have sensitive heels so I have to wear thick socks but no issues with binding or pinching or owies.

I have been wearing this boots for 2 years now, so I have had time to truly test them. I have taken them on hikes both during summer and winter. I have also used them while snowshoeing. This hiking boots are amazing. I was in the market for a pair of high quality boots that performed, were stylish, and light. The boots are all that and more. My feet are never too hot or cold, and they are so light it's very easy to hike up. Some comments mention how stiff the sole is, and this is true. I appreciate the stiffness of the sole, as it helps keep you stable. Overall, best hiking boots I have ever had. They still look like new.

These are quite possibly the most comfortable hiking boots I have ever worn. I have put hundreds of miles on them over the past year or so and I have never experienced hot spots or blisters. I went a half size up because I have wide feet and they fit just fine. I did start to wear very light merino wool socks very early on as I felt that my usual mid-weight socks caused my feet to get noticeably hot and the shoes felt a bit too snug. One of the reasons I really like these boots is that they are very light and they have a sleek athletic profile that most hiking boots do not have; most of the hiking boots on the market today and that I have worn in the past have a cloddish, clumsy feel to them--a throw-back to big, heavy, and sturdy mountain boots of the past. The Bora boots have an "approach shoe" agility to them while retaining the sturdiness and durability that is necessary on rugged trails. The liner acts like gaiters on the trail, keeping little rocks and pebbles out of the shoe-a nice touch. These boots are a leap forward in design and innovation for hiking boots. I highly recommend them.

I'm the electrical grid manager for the US Marine Corps Base Quantico. I'm in the field 60% of the time. Rain, sleet, snow or sun, I wear these boots to the office or into the field and they're comfortable for both! I have flat feet (no arches) and these boots are still comfortable. It took me a whole week for my back and feet to "adjust" to the boots, but once I got used to the support and the stability of the boot,...I started to wear them every day. Wearing these boots is like putting on top end tires on my feet. A year ago, I wore only Florsheim dress shoes; now my goal is to wear only the Bora Hiking Boot. They're a lot cheaper than buying three pairs of Florsheim AAA width per year!

I have heel spurs and most boots shred through my feet like paper and give me terrible blisters. I needed new boots for a backpacking trip through the Rockies and decided to go with the Bora GTX based on the positive experience I've had with my Norvan VT GTX. I was not disappointed. Over the course of a week I trekked almost 150km through streams, muskeg, and mud and didn't get a single blister! My feet remained perfectly dry and never once felt muggy or hot (which they have with other Goretex boots). The integrated "sock" did get some getting used to, but now I love it. I couldn't recommend these boots more.

These bots were amazing out of the box. Hardly no breakin required. True to size and a 12 is a snug fit for me which is what I normallyqhere with regular boots and shoes. If you plan to wear these with thick socks for winter hikes/treks, Recommend going a size up. Took these into the mountains of NEPAL for a 5 day trek and crushed it. Were very comfy and kept my feet dry. I've also noticed in voter environments my feet do not sweat near as bad as with traditional vortex boots. Don't pas these up. Worth every penny!

Very supportive for long days of hiking with a heavy pack. Lots of protection against sharp rocks. Breathes well on hot days and waterproof for when the skies decide to dump on you.

I got these for a month long trekking trip in Nepal and they were great. Super comfortable, no blisters after 2+ weeks of trekking. Also have worn them mountaineering on snow and rock, and they performed well - grippy on the rock, light-weight, etc..

I go off-trail and bushwack quite a bit and I have worn these boots on soft fir-covered dirt trails, through mud, across streams, hard scrambles, and rough rocky terrain. These are the most comfortable, lightest, and durable boots I have worn. The days of flayed tops of my feet are now gone: The Bora's have no tongue to rub against the tender skin, your feet are ensconced in a Gore-Tex liner. I have waded through many streams and was shocked that my feet were still relatively dry. The rubber compound on the tread is sticky on rocky surfaces--this may lead to premature wear but I appreciate not slipping on rocks.

After owning many Salomon (still an Amer brand) boots, I made the switch. No turning back. These fit great. They look sharp. I went with all black as other boots tend to be too flashy looking. Used many time and not much noticeable wear or smell.

Days before a week-long hiking trip to Iceland I was debating about these boots vs more conventional heavy duty leather boots. I liked their fit and feel out of the box, no hard spots or anything that I felt would be a problem, so I decided to return the leather boots. It was a good choice - we hiked on lava, trails, rocks, some old snow, wet and muddy trails for a week, and they performed flawlessly. Even used some strap-on crampons for a short glacier hike, although they did feel a bit soft for that.

I've had these boots for a few months now, and I'd have to say I'm so happy I bought them. Wasn't too sure how they'd work out but knowing Arc'teryx, I thought they'd be decent enough boots. My main reason for looking for new boots was to use for caving in the TAG region, since my last hiking boots got destroyed after a few months of caving about every other week. I needed something that would provide the support I needed, the traction I could count on, and not fall apart so quickly as my last boots. So far, these boots have been the ones I was looking far! They've worked great in the various caves I've been to. My only concern is that they might soon be too small for my feet, since I ordered a size 10 (which I usually get) but they were a bit more narrow than I expected. Couldn't exchange them however cause I had a trip the next day that I needed boots for. But other than that I love them and Arc'teryx!

The sizing chart suggested US Men 9.5 for me after I measured my foot based on the instruction. But I ordered 10 online which is my usual sneaker size, and I was right, they fit perfect. If I went ahead with the 9.5 my toes will be exactly at the tip of the boots with no room at all. I have normal width foot. I tried it with an average thickness socks. Out of the box they feel so perfect and lightweight and the stability is undeniable. I feel the support of liner hugging my feet well and feel confident they will do great on the trails. The look is just way too cool. I didn't feel any discomfort or bunching of the outer layer at all. The only thing I can nitpick is changing the insoles. It's a little bit of a struggle, but with some patience you will be rewarded with great comfort once you put your feet back in. I will break it in this week and see how it goes on the trail.

I have terrible bunions and was worried that I wouldn't be able to go on long hikes as I get older but these boots have helped to alleviate the pain of long hikes. I did a couple of hikes in Banff/Canmore with these boots and felt no discomfort. I would definitely recommend these boots

I have been hiking and backpacking in these boots for almost an entire season. They arrived in the late summer of 2015 and their innagural was a three day backpack in the Enchantments region of Washington. This is a storied hike including a rather epic ascent up over Assgard Pass going up 2,000 ft in ~ 3/4 mile. This is super fun with an overnight pack on your back over rough trail and some nasty scree. They did great and I had zero hot spots or blisters three days and 21 miles later. These boots provide excellent support, stability, and traction over a variety of trail conditions. I have had them on scree, mud, scrambles, and normal summer trail conditions. The water proof Gore-Tex liner lives up to expectations - you can step fully into a creek and retain dry socks. My favorite aspect though is the breathability. I have also suffered from sweaty feet for years in the usual leather hikers. These boots allow enough air flow to avoid this issue and allow me to avoid the end of day wet sock enjoyment. This is awesome.
