I have worn the Stan Smith shoe since the early 1970's. Over the years there have been changes to the shoe. Most changes have been acceptable. However, this latest version does present me with an issue. The width of the tong is not as wide as it used to be, it is about 1/2 of an inch narrower than the older version from the early 2000's. I know this because I compared this new pair to 2 new pair I have stored for years. With this shoe disappearing from the market over the years I usually keep a few new pairs stored. Local stores do not have half sizes, which I need to compensate for the too narrow tong. Luckily Zappos has size 12 ½. Addis needs to pay attention to this issue or also provide a wide size like they did years ago.

Everything Adidas makes is so well made. I accidentally got the wrong size and the refund was prompt and easy to attain but i couldn't help but marvel at the craftsmanship

You definitely need to go down at least half a size and they are also quite wide. But good quality and comfortable.

Had to go down 1 and 1/2 my regular size, at the expense of getting them quite narrow in the end. However, after a few hours of use they feel better and better. A classic shoe, that goes well with everything. I'll buy the same model to my wife!

Love the look of these trainers but sizes are too big. My usual 9.5 was more like a 10.5. Sent it back for an 8.5 which was way too small. Fingers crossed 9 will be perfect!

I liked it because of the style. But the color that I want is the grey one but there is no size anymore so I chose the nearest color which is black. I just thought that this black stan smith's insole is ortholite because according to the description it should be but it is not.
