I bought these earrings over a year ago for a 3 month stay on scholarship in Moscow, Russia. We were required to bring formal wear for certain events (like The Bolshoi Theatre) and I wanted something neutral that would match any outfit. At the same time I purchased these, I also bought a matching hand bracelet and necklace in silver platinum drusy to pair with. I thought I would only wear them for formal events, but ended up wearing the set at least several times a week because I loved it so much. I can't begin to count how many compliments I got on the earrings and set as a whole. So many locals stopped me to tell me how beautiful they were and ask where I had gotten them from. There wasn't a single outfit that they didn't match. They seriously matched everything and looked gorgeous. The earrings themselves I still wear very frequently with other pieces, or alone, and they're still in great condition after over a year of wearing them pretty frequently. They don't weigh your ears down and they have personally have never irritated my ears. There has only been one time when one of the backers to mine slipped off, but luckily it fell conveniently in my home and I found it. I don't think I had pulled the backer all the way back. These earrings are such a staple piece for me that I can wear with anything and I absolutely adore them. Absolutely worth the purchase.
