Darling and very comfortable shoes. However, due to an injury my left instep is too high for this style. The goring on the shoes is great for my normal foot but uncomfortable across the top of my left foot. If they were adjustable, I would have kept them in a minute!

This is a cute shoe, and I really wanted it to work on my hard to fit feet. My narrow heels allowed the shoe to rub up and down with each step. The shoe box was generous. Would like to have included these in my wardrobe, but no.

Put these on out of the box and went shopping! Love these! Comfort, style, true fit, all 5 stars. Rieker is my shoe! Love you Zappos!

I'm always on the prowl for blue shoes! The blue of these shoes is rather a faded denim, whereas I would have preferred a darker blue. They are super comfortable and required no break-in at all. I wore them with jeans, and they will also go with shorts and casual skirts in the warmer months. I don't like the mottled look of the section between the upper and the sole, but I guess that's not very noticeable on my feet.

Oh yeah, I used to be a size 7 but pregnancy made my foot grow into a solid 8. I wear an 8.5 in Frye boots though, just saying. The 39s fit perfectly, even on my left (slightly larger) annoying foot. You cannot go wrong with shoes that feel so amazing on the first day of wearing them!

I cannot believe how wonderful these shoes are! I put them on my feet for the first time this morning, went to work and haven't taken them off. There are no complaints! These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever experienced! I'm already looking for more Riekers. This feeling is definitely worth the money! Unbelievable!

hi, these shoes are nice, but not more than that. their color is somewhat low key - i expected the color to be more lively like a worn out jeans but it was much paler - a matte gray. a bit boring. the design is really nice but they dont feel so comfortable. im gonna keep them ( i cant return them coz i live on the other side of the world) but i think i need a higher heel and more arch support.

Shoe is a bit wider than I need. I first marked "too big" on the review but resubmitted as "perfect" so I could leave a note. These shoes are slightly too wide for me but not so I can't use them. Color is a bit lighter than the navy I would have preferred but the shoes will be fine for casual wear.

I really wanted these shoes to work. The leather is soft and the arch support is great, however I had bunion surgery and the strap lands right across the incision. I have held on to these shoes hoping eventually I would be able to wear them, as they are really adorable, but every couple weeks I wear them around the house and have to take them off because of the irritation on my foot. Time to let go and find another alternative. Thank you Zappos

I loved the look of this shoe, but I have a high arch, and the strap across my instep was just too tight.

The shoes run true to size, however, the sides of the shoe(s) hit the lower side of the ankle bone which hurts causes discomfort. They are being returned.

These shoes are so elegant, it truly broke my heart to return them. They hold the foot nicely and the toe room is wonderful. 2 reasons for return: elastic rather than velcro on strap made them difficult to get on for this elder lady and I don't trust the longevity of elastic. Also, the footbed is simply a memory foam insert ... no arch support or heel shape ... nothing. Absolutely no support for the foot and they were not comfortable to walk in, even on carpet.

Cute shoe, but the strap that wraps around the ankle is too tight for my somewhat swollen ankles. Have to send them back.

Love the shoe, but couldn't keep it. Cuter on than in the picture. I thought the stitching my look too cute and the spotted sole weird, but it looked great. Unfortunately, there was something rubbing against my big toe on side where stitching meets sole. I tried on another pair when i saw them at local store and they had same problem, so it's the shape of shoe and not anomaly I decided and so I am returning, rather than replacing. Other than that one spot, they were very comfortable and had good arch support (I have a high instep). Sad they didn't work out.

I really loved the look and initial feel of these shoes. They’re so pretty!! They however have a serious fit problem. The left shoe fit fine and the right one I was concerned about not fitting and hoped I could break it in. After trying them on briefly twice inside and having them on sitting the right one was rubbing and hurting to badly to even try to keep and wear them!! So sad that I couldn’t make these my new perfect shoes!! Ouch!! And odd. I have multiple others in this brand and they fit fine and without any problems. I even checked the size on the shoes to make sure they weren’t in fact different sizes they fit so differently but both showed as size 39. Maybe if I could have had a size 40 for the right shoe they wouldn’t have been a problem but that doesn’t seem to fix it as it wasn’t the length on either that was problematic.

Very cute shoe. Lots of room in the toe box, yet the heel area fits my narrow heel. Reasonable arch support.

After trying one size smaller in this shoe, I was hopeful that this one would be perfect. Alas, one shoe felt fine, the other one slipped in the heel. It almost felt as if one shoe was a different size altogether.

This has a comfortable footbed but the strap across the top was just uncomfortable for me. It didn't have enough "give" to it. If it would be adjustable, it would be great.
