These shoes are perfect for my toddler! He wears them all day at daycare, indoors and outdoors, and I feel good having him in soft, flexible shoes, instead of something bulky and stiff. The leather is soft and buttery, and the rubber soles seem durable.

These worked out great for my 14 month old. Her daycare requires "hard soled shoes" by age 15 months, which killed me because I wanted her to be more natural and barefoot. These were the perfect compromise. They're light, and the soles are protective but flexible. Plus they have a reinforced toe, which is great since she is still mostly crawling to get around. I will say, they do make her feet pretty sweaty, so we are going to start trying them with socks for absorption.

These are perfect! I was looking for an extremely flexible, soft-sole type construction, but with a flexible bottom that could withstand wet/rough outside surfaces. This is exactly what my early walker (10.5 mos) needed. They are very well constructed with no seams or rough spots inside -- he often wears them without socks. I would even purchase them for a more accomplished walker, yet they are as close to barefoot walking for infant/toddler sizes I could find. Also, super cool look, he's already gotten a lot of compliments -- we have the orange bottoms. Note: I ordered the size 4 (euro 20) and Zappos says it's a "4" but the box said 4.5. They fit like a 4.5 - perfect.
