I love the Ariat boots for walking. I have had several pairs of the terrain over the years but decided to try these. This boot was comfortable right out of the box with no break in period. These boots have great support & look as sturdy as they feel. The leather is very nice quality and the fact that they are waterproof gives these boots the versatility I am looking for in a boot. Plus, of course, Zappos are pros when it comes to getting people & footwear together quickly!

I bought these boots several months ago, and use them primarily for hiking in all-weather. They are warm enough and dry enough to use in light snow, but comfortable and breathable enough to wear in warmer temperatures. They were a little stiff to put on when I first got them, but now are super comfortable.

I work as a wildlife biologist and spend A LOT of time walking the tall grass prairies of SW MN. I was looking for something that wasn't going to get too warm but had some waterproofing. I read reviews saying that people weren't happy with the traction but I have had zero issues. The boots have held up for a about 6 months now and I couldn't be happier. I have walked through wet areas and have stayed perfectly dry. They seem true to size. I have narrow feet and they fit perfect. If you are using these in hot conditions do yourself a favor and invest in good socks to keep your feet cool. They are waterproof boots and do end up a little on the warm side. I would definitely recommend these boots to anyone who is active and tough on shoes!

I had to break them in a bit to get into them due to the waterproof make, the tongue attached to the front opening. And it has been extremely cold and snowy in upstate NY this year so wearing thicker socks. So... These are the most comfortable shoes to be in all day long.(Actually think about leaving them on after getting home at end of day). I have tried various brands but these are so good to my feet, I want a Slipper to fit this well... Looking to get a few more pairs in your brand with the same interior support. Very Good Product Line!

Just purchased this boot but I always buy Ariat because I can put them on and walk without breaking them in. I have trouble with my feet and all other brands hurt . Don't know what the difference is. Have never purchased any other since I found Ariat Boots. I love them.

I love the fit and comfort of ariats. I have the terrian for riding, gardening and over all walking. I wanted something like it but with more ankle support. I tried these and the terrain pro. I returned the pro's and kept these... More support and better looking. These are between a high end hiker that needs a ton of breaking in and a keen. What's nice about these are there's plenty of room in the toe box, but it doesn't look wide and clown like. Oh, I tried riding in these ( love the terrains for that) and the tread did get stuck in the stirrup...no biggie, I thought that would happen.

These are super comfortable! I usually have to wear arch supports just to walk on a daily basis. I slid my feet in these boots and they fit like they were made special for my feet. I normally wear an 8.5 wide so I got a 9 and they are perfect!!

I have had plantar fascitiis and shoes have been a struggle for 4 years and I don't need any kind of insert with these boots and my feet NEVER hurt when I wear them. With other shoes I have to use orthotics. I am a Doctor and in the winter in New Zealand when I worked there, I wore them to work. I now am living on 20 acres in Oregon and love hiking in them.

I bought these boots recently for hiking and was certainly not disappointed. These are some of the most comfortable hikers ever and kept my feet perfectly dry while the rest of my group all had wet shoes (and socks) by the time the hike was over. Highly recommend!

I purchased these boots 5 months ago. Super durable, light weight, and really comfortable! I have used them primarily for hiking; also have done some Turkey hunting in these boots. I love the waterproof feature. Only downfall- they are not slip resistant, on wet rocks they do not grip well.

I have worn Ariat Terrain boots for many years and have always bought a size 6. I ordered the Ariat Skyline Mid GTX boots in a size 6 and could barely get them on my foot even with lightweight socks. I have sent them back and am very disappointed. They are a very good looking boot. I guess I will order a 6-1/2 and see if that fits properly.

The boots are very durable and well constructed, used multiple outdoor excursion in various weather. They have held up great and are very comfortable, a little on the heavy side.

I was so disappointed as I absolutely loved these boots, so comfortable and no aches and pains after wearing them all day. Sadly they just aren't waterproof. Customer services were great and replaced the boots twice after which time I gave up as I had the problem with each different pair which and that's after looking after them as advised.

I purchased these at a tractor supply while at a horse show in Michigan. I was a groom and needed something to walk all day in and keep my feet dry. They were very comfortable and kept my feet protected in the wash racks, but they aren't very breathable. I would rather have complete waterproofing than breath-ability, so I was okay with this. Unfortunately, they have not held up. I purchased them in August 2018, wore them to work (Grooming 6 days a week) through November, and have only hiked in them a handful of times in the last 4 months (Spring 2019). They have now cracked at the toes where the leather broke in from walking. There are holes forming and they will no longer be waterproof once the holes become worse. They are also pretty heavy.
