Perfect boots for work when steel toe is a requirement. Comfortable and great for standing and/or walking all day!

These boots are awful, the inner layer pops out everytime I try to take my foot out and then I have to sit there and fight it for 30 minutes. After I finally got it out I went to put them back on for work and the plastic was messed up and dug into my foot.

I purchased these boots about 3 months ago. The inner lining is not attached and slides up and down making this weird noise. The first time I wore these in the rain my feet got wet. Now the inner lining is worse and I struggle to take them off. Would not recommend.

They fit true to size, and I wear a 10.5 wide. There was no break in period, they just come out of the box and fit me perfectly. Though they are steel toes, theyre not overly cumbersome like some work boots.

Worked in these for 1 year until the inner liner from the heel of the boot detached and now freely moves around. Now its hard to take off but still pretty comfortable

Just after 2 months or wearing them they started to get hard to get off due to that insulation thing inside it had happend to me with my old ariat boots different model but had that same inside insulation or whatever its called its not glued to the boot itself it is loose and when trying to take off that thing wants to come out with your foot and gets stuck

I've had these bad boys for over two years and have only had one negative thing to say about them, the inner lining came loose in one after about a week and the other is finally starting to come loose. Not an overall terrible issue except that it creates a bit of a suction lock on your foot when you go to take them off. Easy enough to get past with a shoe horn, or holding it back with your hand, so nothing that would stop me from getting them again. Overall great at keeping my feet dry. Comfortable and when they start to get a little less comfy then change the insoles. Survived two years of construction site wear and tear and look good to step out on the town in too!

My husband loves his ariats , but this pair seems to be pulling apart quicker than pairs he's had in the past . He's a miner so they get plenty of use but it's only been about 5 months and the shoe is peeling apart from the platform.

The fit is reliable and dependable. I tear them up in less than 3 months, but i work hard. I buy them over and over because they are a good fit.

The Groundbreaker steel toe workboot is much stiffer than the previous Rambler square toe work boot. It may offer more protection in the workplace, but is stiff initially. Perhaps it will soften with wear. Ariat, please bring back the Rambler Square Toe workboot.

I wear these daily but on the first day of use the lining detached at the heal. I will say they are comfortable however. I wish I could get them fixed but live n learn

After wearing these boots for 3 months, not only was there the issue of the heal disconnecting as other reviewers have mentioned. The waterproofing that this boot is advertised to have seems to not be able to hold up to standard. Additionally, now while wearing the boots I can feel the steel toe rubbing against me feet making it very uncomfortable.
I was reached out to via email by the Ariat team after sending in my first review. In the email they said it would be possible to issue a refund since the quality was not there. When i attempted to get a refund on the boots, it tells me I can't get them refunded because my return period has already expired. It has only been 3 months!
I have just sent them an email hoping for them to respond and do right by their customers but felt the need to write this second review as well. I hope you guy at Ariat can actually help me. I love the brand, and the usual quality of your products, but this has me second guessing whether i should still buy your products.

Boots are extremely comfortable, but the liner isn't attached to the interior causing it to slide while walking and making removal a time consuming headache. I wish they would sew in the liner to prevent this.

It's a nice boot, exactly what you'd expect from the brand but for a work boot the leather up high is really very soft so I'm not sure how it'll hold up

Absolutely horrible quality and the same customer service. After purchasing this boot and wearing for almost a year, I was happy with the durability so I decided to stick with the same product. Unfortunately our new boots were peeling from the heels only 1 month in. Reaching out to Amazon about our issue they would not accept an exchange because it was 4 days out of the 30day warranty. Thinking no problem we purchased from the official Ariat store they would certainly take care of us under their 1 year warranty. After getting a run around on the phone for an hour we were basically told if they are not purchased at an Ariat brick n mortar or their online site directly they would not honor the warranty. A complete waste of $190! its just sickening how companies have figured out how to manipulate consumers with their warranty process. I had the same issue with Wolverine so I made the switch to Ariat. Forced to move on we had to purchase another pair of $200 boots only 2 months apart. As a small business owner working in landscaping, paying $400 in 2 months could have covered a piece of equipment so we can get ahead. Instead I have pay this amount just to walk out the door- just appalling!

I at first accidentally ordered the wrong size and Ariats shipping department did an amazing job of getting the correct size out to me very fast and hassle free. Sadly everything good ends there. I have loved Ariats work boots for several years now and it's all I wear, but this boot was an immediate problem. The inner lining came loose from the boot itself and moves around as well as comes out when you take the boot off. Resulting in the boot being practically impossible to remove. Much like a Chinese finger trap. Making the inner lining material bunch up and cause pain in my feet. I understand things happen and have tried contacting customer service, but all I have received is silence. I'd say excellent shipping service, poor product quality, and so far horrible customer service. This boot and experience is going to make me look at other brands.

I love these boots and this is my third pair of them but this pair is 8 months old and the inside of the one boot is coming up causing it to not want to come off. The other boot isnt far behind either as I can feel it slipping each time I take it on and off
