Great shoe, true to size, I underpronate and probably the best shoe I've found thus far

These shoesare hard as rocks once you walk around in them a bit. At first try-on, I was pleased. Felt supportive, if not slightly firm. Walking around the house--no way. Cute but little cushioning.

I've been wearing Asics shoes for years. The Gel-Venture 5 is my latest addition and I love them. Perfect wide width for my wide foot, great arch support, and great support all around. Love the color I got.

i Love Asics, I walk every day and these are so light to wear. The fit is perfect for my small feet. The reason I only gave 3 stars for comfort is I have to remove the original sole and insert my orthotics which gives me a better arch support, this is done easily. The color and the quality is very good.

I'm not one to write reviews, but I had to for these shoes. I normally wear Brooks, but wanted to try a shoe that was a little less pricey. I know you get what you pay for, but Asics didn't let me down. I read the other reviews and ordered a wide. I've got plenty of room in the toes and I love the wider heel base (like Brooks). I wore them right out of the box and my feet are happy. Very impressed as always with Zappo's shipping.

I like this shoe quite a bit. I have a medium to wide front of my foot and I purchased this in the wide width. It is perfect. Many times wide width shoes look like clown shoes but these do not. Perhaps if you have a really wide foot this won't work. I normally wear an 8 1/2 medium in dress shoes. I purchased the 9 1/2 wide in these and they are great. Very good value, too.

These are great shoes and the price can't be beat. I am mostly a walker and gym goer. This is my second pair of these shoes. I love them.

You can stop clicking around and just buy these. They are fabulous, comfortable, sturdy shoes! Took them out of the box and wore them for 3 days in Disney - walking 15,000 to 20,000 steps a day. No sore feet, no chafing, no breaking in needed. I usually wear a 10, sometimes a 9.5, and went with the 9.5.

Great so far. Usual quick (less than 24 hours after ordering) delivery, so pleased. I was surprised once I unboxed my shoes that they were so stiff, like as stiff as the cardboard box they came in stiff. That being said, these shoes were very comfortable, I did order 1/2 size larger than my usual size. I've yet try them outside, wanted to make sure I liked them prior to getting them dirty. Am very pleased that the toe box is roomy. Would recommend.

Happy to have purchased these shoes. I even opted for a delayed arrival and they still arrived in two days. These are typical for this brand with a consistent fit. I am usually a size 8 and the size 8 fits. It is very slightly narrow, but I like the secure fit.

Great looking shoe, has good room in the front toe area, very comfortable. Based on other sneakers I have this one is a 1/2 size smaller, so would say runs a little large

ASICS shoes work great for me. This is my sixth pair & I will only by ASICS in the future. They are very comfortable and provide great support for walking.

I put these shoes on and wore them all day long. The colors are great. I must be honest with you in that I have to wear an orthodic in both shoes.

I can't quit these sneakers! They are comfy and provide support where I need them! Would recommend. Good for hiking and walking- that's what I use them for! Also, I usually buy a half size up and they fit great.

Replacement for my Gel-Tri Noosa's... FEEL GREAT. As always, ordered a half size up and they're perfect!

These shoes are great. I love the design and colors. As far as comfort-so far so good. Zappos had a great price and the quick shipping and customer service at Zappos is excellent.

This is my first ASICS Gel Venture 5 shoe I love the look of them and the style light weight not too heavy on my feet. Great for walking

I bought these in a 9 medium. After wearing in the house, these shoes run quite narrow. My toes were squished! I am going to try a 9 wide in a different color, since these are out of stock in wide. They are still a well made shoe. I will keep trying. You definitely have to go up a 1/2 size in Asics.

I have a hard time finding shoes that fit because I have a high arch and wide feet.I was hoping to try something different after wearing Brooks for several years. These seem like very well made shoes and they have really good support but they were too narrow for my foot :( I even got a D width

I have narrow feet and I these sneakers fit like a glove. I ran in them immediately with no issues. I've owned New Balances and Brooks in the past. The New Balances are too wide for me and the Brooks are pricey. I go through running shoes, and I'm definitely going to buy this style again in the future if it's available.

Great trail running shoe. Paired these with thick socks, so bought a size and a half up- which was perfect. Great traction in a lightweight shoe. Good support in the arch and ankle. Nice and tight, but not overly, fit.

These shoes are absolutely the greatest fit and look. I always get a half size larger since I wear socks. I just put them on and went for my 2 mile walk and they were awesome!!!!

Great shoe at a great price. It has a roomy toe box, nice cushioning and is light weight. I supinate so the moderate arch support is perfect. Asics is one of my favorite athletic shoe brands and this model does not disappoint. I could do with slightly less neon colored accents and laces but that is a matter of taste. I recommend this shoe.

Comfortable, stylish, supportive shoe I'm using for walking rather than running, but they are just the ticket. Since my feet are super wide and I have a ridiculously high instep, these would be ideal if they came in an E width, but the D works fine with the insole removed. I walk about 2.5-4 miles a day in them, and they are holding up well. They are comfortable _enough_, and I attribute anything less than perfection to my feet and not to the shoes -- if you have regular width feet or even typically wide feet, as opposed to extra wide, these will work great for you to get moving and keep going.
