Super cute, lightweight, comfortable, breathable fabric. I'm a nurse, on my feet all shift and ASICS always offer good support and comfort.

These are the most comfortable shoes right out of the box. I have a high instep, and the arch support is perfect.

These shoes fit like a glove out of the box, no break-in needed. My feet are on the wide side so they may not be optimal for people with narrow feet.

Loved these shoes.. Comfortably snug on my heels, with plenty of width in the rest of the shoe to fit my wife foot comfy. Will buy again!

I originally purchased this shoe in a different color because I wanted a kick around shoe to wear to work. Really comfortable walking on concrete all day so bought another. Then I decided to try them out on my run/walks. Excellent!. I buy Mizuno or Brooks for running/walking because they have great support, but I have to say this particular shoe is more comfortable. I now have 3 pairs. Besides the fun colors, this shoe is very light and has given me the support in my heal (pronation) and arch (I have high arches). I have not purchased any of the other ASICS styles so I can only attest to this particular shoe. I am actually considering buying another color.

I purchased these ASICS to go hiking with the dogs. I am a dedicated ASICS shoe girl and buy their running shoes. Typically I wear an 8.5 and purchased this pair in that size. They are true to size, have minimal arch support, and good soles for traction. Would recommend them to anyone.

This is a great shoe and I plan to order a new pair but a half size larger. The reason? After months of wearing these for aerobic walking (I can't run anymore due to several spine surgeries) I'm noticing my big toe hitting the end of the shoe. I do lace these to ensure my heel is snug so don't think I'm sliding forward in the shoe. It is tight in the forefoot but there were no 'wides' available in my size. Hope going up half a size fixes this!

This is a CUTE shoe with excellent cushioning, even without any special orthotic. I ordered my TRUE size (11 ½, thank you Zappos!!!) and even tho it felt a skosh tight decided it must be fine and wore it for a walk immediately. In truth, the 12 (my normal fall back position, since I've only EVER found 11 ½ as a option here) probably would have been better. I'm hoping it will relax a bit so I can enjoy it more as time goes on. The toe box in particular seems a bit snug on my very-much-regular width foot, and it fits more like a size 11.

Yes, yes, and yes. I love Asics. I bought these because I was slipping and sliding all over the very dry trails here. These did the trick. Haven't slipped since I bought them. Comfortable and not too heavy. Great buy.

Running shoes always wear out first in the pinky toe area so I was looking for an Ascis that was reinforced in that area. I found it in the Gel-Venture 5 which is also comfortable and gives good support. So I am pleased with my purchase and time will tell how it wears.

Great walking shoes, I've been using them to walk at least 2 miles a day for 8 months now and they've held up GREAT! No complaints here.

I LOVE THIS SHOE!!!!!!! This is the perfect shoe for me and I plan on ordering it in every color. I have the world's most hard to fit foot. Not only has this helped my feet, but my knees and back are better too. Please do not ever quit making this shoe. 11.5 is hard to find.

These shoes are so comfortable! I have never used Asics before and now I am converted. They have a good tread for outdoor trail running. I love the bright colors. The shoe is breathable but also the sides are water resistant. Overall a great shoe I will continue to purchase!

After about 500 miles wearing an Asics Gel Quick Walk, specifically for walking, it was time to replace as they no longer gave necessary support. Decided to try these with a more aggressive tread, stiffer sole and heel. Have put about 50 miles on the so far, on varied terrain (pavement, blacktop, dirt paths, and gravel paths). Shoes feel very sturdy, perfectly snug in the heel, light weight, and have been comfy with no break in period. Am headed to NYC in a couple of weeks - hope these Gel Ventures will serve me well with several hours of walking tours and sight seeing every day. I always like Asics brand, and Zappos is the best for ordering and returning shoes, free shipping is wonderful.!

The shoes are very lightweight and provide ample arch support as well as cushion for the bottom of my feet. I'm using them for casual (2-3 times per week) walking/jogging on pavement and on trails. I normally wear a 10 in shoes, but I always order up a size for my running shoes. I ordered a size 11. Shipping, as usual from Zappps, was very fast. My shoes arrived 2 days after I placed my order.

extremely comfortable. I have been wearing Asics sneakers for tennis for years, so when i needed a hiking shoe/trail runner for an upcoming trip, i chose these. Fit great - and removable insoles plowed me to put my custom insole init if i wanted to.

Comfortable Gel shoes. I ordered a half size larger than I normally wear and they fit perfect.
