I'll start by saying I am looking for a funky but comfortable sandal, neither frumpy nor delicate, yet ideally not black, as my very pale skin (in my favorite summer knee-length skirts) looks terrible in dark-colored shoes. I wanted to like these shoes, but they don't work for me. I purchased the sand color, which is a much lighter brown than the photograph suggests, and is not flattering on me (not at all a medium brown - very light tan). The shoes run normal to small (I am usually a 7-7.5, and the 7 is a tad too small, if only aesthetically and not in comfort). Most of all, I was perplexed by the extent to which the soles turned upwards in the toes. I don't have particularly troublesome toes, but these shoes turned my toes up and were both uncomfortable and unflattering. I don't know how else to say it, but: when I looked down at my feet in these shoes, I wondered whose feet they were.

These are beautiful, supportive shoes, but unfortunately they run quite narrow in the footbed.

So, the bed of this shoe is narrow. I LOVED the look but my arch falls over on the inside because it's not wide enough. I have a "normal", average foot. I wanted them to work but I could tell after 20 minutes, it wasn't going to happen.

I walk a lot and I've been searching for a comfortable sandal that doesn't look incredibly frumpy--unfortunately this is not it. It fits well and it's comfortable but it looks orthopedic.

I have ordered these in a 7 and 8 twice just to see if I could make them work. Although I love the color and think I could make the style work without looking too much like the middle aged mom I am, I had to finally return them. Pros: 1. Zappos is awesome! 2. Color 3. leather seems solid 4. Moderate toe coverage to make them wearable for multiple seasons and, if they fit well, they should be pretty comfortable. Cons: 1. Even for my widish foot, the width on the uppers of the size 8 is too wide while the sole is slightly too narrow. The size 7 width is just right but the shoe is slightly too short for my toes. I wish they'd had a size 7.5. or if the shoes were constructed where the upper and lower widths matched. 2. The arch is too high and in the wrong location for my very flat feet so they almost felt comfy but I think if I'd worn them walking for a bit they would have been uncomfortable. 3. The first pair I ordered had the width not match the mate on the size 8 which tells me that there is some QA issues with this set. So, I wish they could've worked but nope. Back they go.

Nice sandals, but too narrow in the front, particularly since there are no half sizes. I usually wear a 7.5, sometimes a 7, in an open-toed shoe. The 7 was just long enough but too tight in the front. The 8 was just wide enough but noticeably too long.

The sandals were a bit snug on my feet. I am an 8½ usually in sandals and the 8 was too small, especially on my left foot. It is too bad that they do not come in half sizes. The sandals are comfortable.

I really wanted to like these, but I do not like the curved lip that runs around the footbed of the shoe - it makes bowl for your toes to sit in. This would probably be fine for someone with a narrow foot, but not for my foot. Cute and a nice change from the wedge, but not a keeper for me.

The leather makes a squeaky sound when I walk. At this cost a pair, these are going back! It's too bad, they're very comfortable, but I don't want to hear that sound with every step.

Not as comfortable as they look. There's a bump on one side where the straps are attached. I believe another review mentioned this too. For the price, I'd expect a great shoe. Also, without the extra half size, I'll never be able to wear this brand.

This Myrna redesign no longer fits me because they made the toe a lot pointier, and now my big toe hangs over the side of the footbed. While the new raised footbed is more squishy, it also has that very strong polyurethane smell. There is still a half inch of footbed out the front of the shoe so a whole size bigger definitely won't work. My feet are narrow with a medium toe spread. The straps are loose as it is, so a wider width wouldn't help, either.

Very comfortable, but quality is not great! Overall I like the look of the sandal and the fit, but the quality is a problem. I have had these shoes for about a month and a few things have happened to the shoe that I am not impressed with. On the first day I had them, condensation from a water glass dropped onto the leather and has left a lovely flower shape drop mark...a month later and there are more drop marks from water (was wearing these when it happened to rain, so there are more random water marks). I am tempted to wet all the leather just to make it uniform, but not sure if that will help! There was no information with the shoes if they need to be protected with leather protector. I've never had leather stain like this -- it usually dries and blends back in. The other issue is that the footbed "cork" look is coming off in spots -- hoping it doesn't get worse or become visible as it currently is under my toes and foot. There was really no break in period. Like them, but wish the quality was better, especially for the price!

I so wanted to love and wear this sandal but found it to be very narrow...my foot spilled over the sides. Length was great, however. I am a 7.5 med in almost all shoes.

I think this shoe works for a lot of people, it just felt hard and the rocking motion felt funny to me. I also felt like my heel was lower than the ball of my foot, even though it wasn't. It seemed to be good quality. Just not for me. The front toe straps could have been a bit narrower for a Medium width shoe. I ordered my normal length (8) and it was perfect.

Super cute. I loved the color. For my foot it did not work. The width of the shoe is super narrow, and my foot felt like it was hanging over the edge.

The fit was tight and at 7.5 felt small. Also even though it said it was a leather upper it looked cheap. I was really disappointed with this shoe, especially at this price.

This sandal felt overall small. I'm typically a solid 9, but the toe and heel just hit the front and back of shoe and the leather upper + heel strap were super tight. I liked the style, supple leather and light weight wedge so I'm trying again--I ordered the next size up and we shall see. I wish there was a 1/2 size to go up just a little.

Much too small in length and width; cute but not going to work for me.

The foot bed is very hard and uncomfortable arch is to high

I wear in general medium width shoes. At times narrow. These shoes are very narrow right in the middle of the foot, which means the shoe cuts into the side of my foot. Sending back . The shoe is gorgeous, the color is gorgeous, the material is top notch. It’s just weirdly shaped made.

I returned because The sandals had scuffs on the heel and on the top portion of sandal. I wouldn’t have been surprised had sandals been on sale. However I paid full price. Very disappointed.

The color & the corresponding photo were listed as SAND, a light brown. But twice the sandal came in a lighter color, matching to me what is listed as NATURAL. I already have 2 pairs of Kork-ese in this light brown.. After a very lengthy back & forth with Customer Service, they said they would look into it. I do LOVE the shoes though!

I love Kork-Ease sandals - I have owned 4 pairs of them. They are the best but with this pair, they replaced the cork footbed with a leather footbed which I do not look the looks of and it's not as comfortable. One of the reasons that I like the Kork-Ease brand is that the footbed is so comfortable, your foot never sweats and there are no blisters or pain. Sadly, I am returning these because the footbed is not leather.

I would keep and love them if more of my toes were covered by the leather. Sad, as I think these are so similar to what I wore a LONG time ago in college!

I bought these shoes 5 months ago. Size & fit were good. I have to buy two pair of shoes each time I buy shoes because my feet differ in size by a whole size. The size 6 (left shoe) has held up fine. The size 7 (right shoe) practically disintegrated. The elastic holding the buckle stretched to the point that the buckle was dangling and useless. The leather strap that goes around the ankle separated from the lining so that it would twist and I would have to tuck the pieces together. Fortunately, I have a trusted shoemaker and I had saved the shoes I couldn't use (the right size 6 and the left size 7). He used the size 6 right shoe for parts, literally took the disintegrated straps and elastic apart, and reconstructed it the shoe so that it looks as good as new. It cost me $20 and my shoes are wearable again. These were not inexpensive shoes at $135/pair. I would be skeptical of buying Korkease shoes again, so I will stick with Dansko from this point on.
