These shoes are spectacular. Slipped them on right out of the box and wore them for several hours. No breaking in required. Soft leather, soft foot bed. True to size. Feels like walking on a cloud.

These are fabulous sandals. I got a pair of the natural leather ones with exposed cork soles last summer, and wore them constantly. I walk a LOT, living in Cambridge,MA, and find that most sandals are just good for standing around. I have many pairs that I simply do not wear, because they don't stay on, offer no support, or just aren't comfortable for walking. I decided to add a 2nd pair for this summer. I am taking some time to break them in because of the bunion on my right foot, but I have every confidence that these black sandals will be just as comfortable as the ones I got last summer. When you find something that works, stick with it!

Slightly too narrow for my wide foot. I have never bought "wide" shoes, but I have wide feet. These were a bit too narrow, which is darn sad because these are pretty much the most perfect shoes I've ever tried to buy.

I've been looking and looking and looking for a cute, comfortable and worthy walking sandal and this is it! It's a bit wide but I've simply tightened the ankle strap and then allow my toes room to wiggle. With the great arch support my foot does not slide around anyway. It's also short--I pretty much always wear a 6 1/2 but the 7 works well in this shoe. Also, the leather is so very soft. I'm very happy with my purchase!

Wish Kork-ese had half sizes because the 7 was a bit snug! I am sad to send them back--cute color, well-made, and a stylish throw-back to the '70s!

My teenage daughter loves the heel height without it tiring her feet. She likes the modern but comfortable style: wider forefoot, heel cup and platform.

I had these shoes in college in 1974 and couldn’t wait to go retro! There was a small spot of rubbing the first time I wore them, but by the second time the leather had softened up and they were so comfy. I’ve only worn them twice, so can’t comment on longevity.

These are my favorite go to shoes. They were comfortable from day one!

Very nice shoe from Kork-Ease. I like the way they feel on my feet. They seem to run a smidge small. Normally I wear an 8 or 8.5, so I ordered the 8. It was a little small. They only come in whole sizes, so I will reorder and hope the 9 fits.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE KORK EASE! I wore the Baker knock offs in 1972 in high school. When I saw these it brought back all the wonderful memories of my happy hippie days in shoes like these. I have bought just about every color in these and they are amazing in comfort and support. I am sure this 1st SHOE DESIGN probably was first done by some shoe company back in the 1930,s or 40,s. This is a classic DESIGN that will NEVER GO OUT OF STYLE, HIPPIE CHIC! AND THANKS ZAPPOS, YOU ARE MY FAVORITE SHOE COMPANY IN THE WORLD!

These are extremely comfortable, the heel is not too high, and the leather straps soft yet a great quality. I did find the style to be a bit too chunky, but the reason I returned was because the "brown" color was more like a dark tanish orange. They washed me out completely.

These are my new go-to summer shoes! They are great for walking around the city in shorts or at work with dressier clothing. They are super comfortable, but still a great looking sandal. I bought both the blue and the gray sandals but kept the gray because it was more versatile. I love, love, love these shoes!

Wonderful alternative for Dansko sandals for a comfortable wear! Soft everything....but I anticipate will hold up well. Comfortable for long days of wearing, being on my feet and walking. The leather covered heel is classy!

I have purchased these shoes in four colors. They are so comfortable. I can walk in them all day long. I only wish they came in more colors.

These sandals felt great right out of the box. I do a lot of walking and standing at work and my feet felt great with no break in period. I would buy these or another Kork-Ease style again!

I bought a pair and I love them, had to go up a size, I ware a size 6 1/2 and they do don't carry half sizes, I up sized to a 7 and they fit perfect. going to buy another pair in a different color. Martha C.

Nicely made sandal. Comfortable footbed and soft leather. Unfortunately it was too tight in the toe area for my bunion/hallux rigidus. Also seemed like I would get some chafing from the strap near my arch but I was prepared to live with that if the toe thing hadn't been an issue.

Love the color brown these come in. Contrary to other reviews they ran small for me so I had to return and order 1 size up. I cannot wait to receive them!!

Comfortable and true to size. Easy to walk in

These are great shoes. Very stylish. I couldn't find any shoes even similar, with the platform that is distributed so evenly. My only problem is they are a little too narrow in the ball of the foot. I'm not sending them back, though. I'm hoping they will stretch.

I have several pairs of Kork-Ease and these are just what I'm looking for. They feel just as comfortable as my others I like the lower platform too. The only negative I have about this brand is they don't have half sizes and my feet seem to be between a 9 and a 10 so it depends on the style whether they will fit or not.

These sandals are amazing. The only problem I have is the arch support is a bit to close to the back of the shoe. After a few minutes of wear I don't notice the higher support. Great design for someone that has planter faciaitis. They are very light weight, and defiantly an all day shoe. I stand 8-10 hours per day and these sandals have been a pleasure to wear. I highly recommend this shoe. Way to go Kork-Ease!!!!!!

These are very comfortable and made of high quality materials. These can be worn all day for walking and standing but still look great. I wear a 7.5/38 typically, but I ended up keeping the 8s which are listed as 39 as the 7s were definitely too small.

These sandals are VERY comfortable. I have trouble finding sandals that fit well because I have a narrow foot. These were perfect for me.
