I love the sandal. But, it doesn't work for my foot. The arch was too much.

Beautiful shoe, and I suspect that you will like the 2.0 arch support if you like Dansko. It is too high for me, however. Wish Kork-Ease had an arch support between the original (none) and these.

Liked the shoe, but it was different from my original Ava 2. Looked a little more "mature" of a shoe style than my others. Comfortable as always though!

Okay, I don't know how to update my prior glowing review, so I'm writing another one. While I still love this shoe and think it's beautiful and makes my legs/feet look great, I wore it around the house for a couple hours and it caused blisters on the tops of my toes. Did I mention I have difficult feet? Maybe they won't do this for you. I need softer leather. Don't think my feet can make it through a break-in, especially not at this price. Going back.

They are exactly what I ordered, but they hurt my arches the minute I put them on. I am older so for a younger person that might not be a problem.

Wish these would have worked out. Normally I wear a 10, that size was too long so ordered a 9. Definitely too small. Having to return both pairs sadly.

Quality has gone down on Kork-Ease. These feel more plastic, cheap than previous styles bought a few years ago.

This is really uncomfortable shoe. It feels like you have zero support. Super disappointing because it is a cute shoe.

Was so excited to get my new Korkease sandals. I have a pair I got years ago, and just now finally need to think about replacing. I have them in size 7, ordered a 7 in the black. They fit great, except the strap that goes around the back of the heel/ankle was really loose, on both shoes, tightening the buckle did not alter this. Too loose to walk comfortably in them. Otherwise, the shoes would of been divine! Sadly, Im returning.

I love the style and comfort of these shoes, but was so disappointed in the fit. I normally wear a size 9 in sandals and dress shoes. The size 9 was too small, my toe was hanging over as well as my heel. I ordered a size 10 and it was too big. Returned both pairs and got a refund. I wish Kork-Ease offered half sizes, then I would be a loyal user of their adorable shoes.

Too tight. I need an 8 1/2 or an 8 wide. Neither of which seem to have been made. It makes me very disappointed.

This sandal runs small

I owned the Ava 1.0. I wore those shoes for 10 years!!!! I loved them soooo much. But they finally broke so I bought the 2.0. NOT THE SAME SHOE!!! I've had these for 2 years. They are good shoes but the quality is not the same at all.

I am so sad that this shoe was so uncomfortable. My foot is wide and the cork portion under the foot cuts terrible. So bummed! Because it is absolutely adorable!

I've been wearing these for about two weeks now and I'm still kind of split on whether I really like them. For one thing, in my case I am pretty sure the guidance to go down a 1/2 size (based on other reviews) was not great. I did do so and ordered a 9 rather than a 10 (I am a pretty consistent 9.5) -- they fit and don't give blisters but my feet are on the wide side and these really are tight around the front. I keep waiting for them to stretch out as other reviewers believe they will but right now they still feel tight -- so tight in fact I sometimes get a little numbness in my toes after wearing these for a few hours. I also wore them on a flight yesterday and that was a mistake -- my feet swelled at cruising altitude and these got almost unbearably tight. From a looks perspective, I like them. They pretty up otherwise casual outfits and are great for summer with shorts and ankle jeans in particular. Because the pitch of the footbed is moderate, it really does feel like wearing flats but you get the flattering height and added leg length of a heel. The leather is OK but not super. Like another reviewer, I've gotten water spots on mine. I also wish the color were richer. I ordered Golden Sand because I needed a neutral, go-with-everything color that wasn't black and I wasn't sure about the gold metallic ones. The color could be a richer cognac and I think that alone would amp up the looks of the sandal. I wish they came in half sizes which would probably have been a better fit solution for me, and I wish the colors had a little more oomph. Bottom line -- I made the decision to keep these so the pros clearly outweigh the cons for me, but I am not sure they are a total home run or that I would necessarily order them if I had it to do over again.

I have been wearing Kork-Ease for 8 years now and love the brand. I have them in all styles and heights. However this Korke-Ease Ava 2.0 did not meet expectations. First 2.0 not necessarily means better than original. Second the kork foot bed is narrow and uncomfortable (they used to be leather). They transformed this shoe from the most comfortable ever to the most uncomfortable Kork-Ease I have ever tried on. I really wanted to love these as my old ones are on their last draw but had to return them. Kork-Ease, keep the design beautiful and simple please.

Not as comfortable as I thought they'd be for the price. Unfortunately, I'm an undisputed 8.5. I've tried 3 different similar styles from this same brand and without the extra 1/2 size, they won't work. This style is a step up from the regular Ava, but the sole is pretty hard, and I felt a distinct bump under the center of my foot. Not as comfy as they look.

I couldn't get classic Ava's in my size and tried the Ava 2.0. Same comfort and sizing. But the Golden Sand leather is barely finished. I splashed water on a sandal and wiped it with a soft damp cloth (damp with water). The color came off the leather! Every pair of Kork Ease I've had requires replacement of the elastic that holds on the buckle after just a few months of wear. I love the style and comfort but for the price the quality leave a lot to be desired.

The ankle strap is loose and falls off my heel. love the shoe!

Cute shoe, fit well, but squeaked noticeably with every step. These shoes are far too expensive to squeak. Unfortunately, these cute shoes are going back.

It's a first for me to open a box and see a shoe that has firm demarcations on the strap with no wear on the sole. This wouldn't have been a deal breaker, but the gold tone is truly gold, not a hint or shimmer gold as pictured and the fit was a tad narrow.
