I usually wear size 12, which was too large for me in this boot. Switched to 11.5D, which was right length for me. Still a bit wide, but that's no problem for riding a horse. I need three socks on left foot and two socks on right one to have a good enough fit for comfortable walking. My left foot may be smaller than my right--not sure. Anyway, I'm very happy with them for riding, which is why i bought them. And with extra socks they feel fine for walking or going out, after I clean the dust off.

I purchased these boots five years ago and wore them out. They were comfortable new. I did not need to break them in. I have two pair of boots I pretty much wear every day. Ariat and these. I am getting another pair of these. I ride a Harley and these are my riding boots all seasons in the northeast.

I wanted a pair of boots that were comfortable. I have large calves so they fit a bit snug so I stretched them and they fit perfectly now. I love the rubber sole as well for great traction.

When I got the size right I was very pleased with the boot and the way it holds up to function. It is good looking enough for dress or work and can be worn with brown or black.

I always hold by breath when ordering boots. The width always concerns me. Boots can be tricky. I am happy to say the boot is a good fit. I wear 10.5 m. The boots are dark chocolate, just like the pic. I could of saved couple dollars order from another website and waited 7 to 10 days. I am vip member here. That is a plus get UPS next day air saver so it is no brainer. I also love their return policy no hassles! I like the video model feature also helps in choosing shoes.

A little narrow in the toe and I bought a 1/2 size larger than I normally wear, still a little snug, but will stretch with wear. I love the sole for traction in the snows of WY.

These were a gift for my husband. The color is much darker than expected. He said they fit true to size and all very comfortable. I think they'll hold up ok since they aren't any everyday shoe. For the price, these are great!

i purchased these boots because of style, price,and review. I received it and the boot looked great. The size was a 10 1/2D. Really tight ... leather wouldn't stretch enough. I was just going to return them. Then I decided to return it and reorder it at the same time. The boot came in a little stiff. Does need some break in period. Maybe a couple of weeks. I reordered in an 11dw.. it fit and the color, leather, is great. So, i'm 10 1/2d ... too tight. I reordered in an 11d ... fits well. Yes, I would recommend this boot for the look, the color, and i'm sure it will be great, the fit. 4 stars because of having to exchange it for another.

These boots are really nice looking. Don't know about the quality yet as I just gave them to my son for Christmas. He normally wears a size 91/2 so I purchased a 91/2 and a 10 so he could choose which size fits best. He chose the 91/2 so I guess they run true to size. They have a nice rubber treaded sole. Zappos is so great. They're super fast delivery and no shipping to and from is awesome. I have purchased several boots from them and loved them all. Great job Zappos!!! I can't give a 5 star on overall and comfort yet but style is very nice.

Im in the process of stretching the boots…..they felt tight

Foot lifts a little in the heel. But feel comfortable to wear.

Great feeling soft and supple material great fit. Sharp looking.

I haven't bought western boots in quite awhile because of always problems with fit. These fit great and no problems sliding into them. Got to break them in a bit but I'm sure riding my Harley will take care of that. Love the boots.
