I was skeptical about Old West boots because I had never heard of them. They are not exactly Dan Post or Tony Lama and are marked as imported. I had another pair of cheap boots which I use on the motorcycle, and I had worn them so much I had them resoled. I discovered that these old trustworthy boots were Old West, so I bought another pair. These from Zappos are the same as my old boots but a different color. These are comfortable, durable, well made boots. The leather may be a tiny bit thinner than the name brands, but they are well made and last a very long time. I am rough on boots and these have held up well.
I'd also recommend:
Tony Lama, Dan Post, NOT Laredo or Ariat
