I got these on sale elsewhere. I like how comfortable these are! The normal slipping in the heel and tightness in the toes in cowboy boots is fading after wearing for an hour already, and they are conforming to my foot nicely. These are very light weight, and the leather thinner, but well made, so they are a perfect summer boot to wear with shorts, dresses, etc. I really appreciate the extra height in the shaft on these, the 14" height is so much more attractive then the usual ho hum 10-13" shafts. They are very comfortable, and lightweight and I love the thinner leather so they can be worn in the summer. The heel has rubber on it and the soles are not as slippery as some western boots, an added plus. I wear 8.5 and the 8.5's fit perfectly. Overall a good buy! These are more comfortable than more expensive boots, and lighter weight, but still well made. I wish western boot manufacturers made boots with some height in the shaft, they are very hard to find above 13" unless they are very expensive! Kudos to Old West for providing us with a taller shaft boot that looks more attractive!

I love these boots! I don’t agree with the suggestion to go up a half size. I ended up sending them back for my normal size. The color is a nice light tan as shown. Very soft leather. The calf width is actually fairly roomy for a tall boot but not so wide that it gapes. Feels a little tight in the front and looser at the heal like most traditional cowboy boots. I imagine they will only get comfier with time. Great price for what feels like a high quality boot!

Love the style of this boot, but the quality of craftsmanship is poor. The leather of the shaft seemed soft and supple. The toe cap is poorly constructed, very stiff which makes the boots very uncomfortable along with no arch support. BUT the biggest detraction are the heels, they are nailed on and one nail was actually still sticking out of the heel. I really like the style for the price but with the poor construction and how uncomfortable they felt I couldn't make it work.

Perfect! Love these boots. I normally wear an 8 and ordered an 8 in these boots, which fit great.

I'm in love with these boots! I'm usually between a size 7 and 7.5. I ended up going with a 7 since 7.5 was sold out so they fit a bit snug but I think the leather will stretch out eventually.

The whole ordering process was fabulous and so was the product! I will definitely be ordering through Zappos in the future, they are a first class company!!!!
