I love the comfort of Romika sandals. They have decent arch support, though not quite as good as Haflingers, which are my favorite, arch wise. I need a lot of arch support, so many people who need less would consider this excellent arch support. This is a truly beautiful pair of sandals, with a soft, comfortable footbed. I am looking for sandals to travel with, that are very comfortable for walking, but look good enough to go with a skirt. These are almost perfect, but I found the way the outer sole narrows and is smaller than the rest of the shoe (strange to find on a flat), makes it not as stable or comfortable as the more solid Romika Fidschi style outer sole. These definitely have a more narrow footbed than the Fidschi, as well. My feet are on the slightly skinny side of medium width, and while they fit this Tahiti style, if my feet were any wider, they would not have. For casual wear, these would work fine, but for serious walking while traveling, I prefer a less wobbly sole. I wish that the Fidschi sole had this beautiful upper design, as it would be a perfect travel sandal. If Romika is listening, please make a pretty brown sandal like this, with all straps adjustable, and a back heel strap, on the more stable Fidschi style sole! I am size US 7-7½ , but in Romika, Haflinger and Dansko, wear size Eu 37 (which they say is size US 6-6½.) In other brands I am a Eu 38, which more accurately corresponds to US 7-7½.

I've been a proud owner of Romika's Fidischi 40 for 2 years - such great shoes, comfortable, arch support, sturdy sole. My feet have molded in to them. Great European shoe making. I have sensitive feet and can walk miles and miles in the Fisisch 40s. So I tried the Tahitis. On the plus side, they are cute. But they are too narrow, have poor arch support and the sole feels flimsy and cheap. I expect more from Romika. I'm returning them - thanks Zappos. If you're looking for a solid walking shoe with great support, the Tahiti is not it.

fit great. classic shoe - so pretty AND comfortable. I have received many compliments on them. I’ve had this pair for a couple of years and like them so well I’ve ordered a second pair in slightly different color. they also fit and look great!

Love the look of these, but size 39, which often is my size, is quite a bit too large. Will get the size 38 today and see how they are. They have adjustable straps all round (except the one going behind the ankle) which I need in the summer because my feet swell up in hot weather. Hoping for great things from these once I get the right size.

I like the way these sandals look and they are comfortable and offer some arch support. My feet are narrow and a lot of sandals don't fit because they are just too wide. With the velcro straps I can adjust these to be snug enough. I already have a pair of these sandals in silver and bought this second pair as a backup. I also have a pair in red.

I own three pair of these sandals. I love them because they look good, but even more because they are comfortable for me with my narrow feet and high arches. With the velcro I can cinch them tight enough to fit my narrow feet, and the top straps give me support for my high arches. The soles are thick enough to give plenty of cushion. Expensive, but worth every penny.

I searched hard for a very comfortable sandals which does not look hideous. I love these sandals.

This is my second pair of the Romika brand. Comfort is important to me. I had foot surgery several years ago and my left foot still swells. I also usually need two slightly different sizes after surgery. These shoes are comfortable and stylish. I wore them through the airport with no problem.

I love this sandal. It is so comfortable! I just ordered my third pair. I hope Romika keeps making this one.

Bought this less than 2 years ago and summers in NY are short. They are my favorite go to shoes. Hard to find comfortable ones when you get older. The ?beige stitching on black sandals has loosen up. I am afraid to cut it for fear more will release. What should I do? The are the best ones that work for me this summer!! I hate to buy one more pair like them when I have not used them that much.

Really cute I thought I'd like the single strap better than other styles that cover more of the foot.

Loved the look, comfort, and quality of this shoe. It's got good arch support, but not so aggressive as to be painful. The padding is good. My typical size in Romika is 38. I ordered these in a 38 and they are borderline too big in length and in the amount of "strap" on the shoe. Yes, they are adjustable, but I don't like having the velcro tightened to the very end as it results a long, floppy piece of leather and a sloppy look. Also, the back strap that goes around the heel is very loose, and even with the ankle strap tightened all the way, it has quite a bit of space between my heel and the strap. I really love these shoes for the color, style, comfort, and versatility that they offer, but I'm not sure if I can make the sizing issue work for me. Zappos did not have the color I wanted in a 37, so I've ordered those from another vendor and will compare the two. I fear that neither will work. If you have a wider heel and more volume to your foot, this could be the perfect shoe for you! I have problem feet - really problem feet, and these are close to perfect in terms of comfort, so give them a try. If the fit is right, you'll love them!

Well, this is my second review, I returned all the 37 sizes, got the 36, and they fit perfect! The service was impeccable!

I bought these, loved them, then left for a trip. I didn’t realize I had an inch in front of my big toe, and at least that in back. I had bought 3, and another style. Then when I got home, I retried one on, red the other reviews and panicked. My husband threw away all the boxes stacked in the garage. So, I called Zappos and spoke to the sweetest lady, I ordered all the shoes in the size smaller, 36. I’m always a 37. So, the smaller ones are coming tomorrow, I will update you! I am being allowed to return without the boxes, in a zip lock baggie! Now, that’s service!

Lovely, comfortable sandals.The ankle strap keeps them from slipping. I'm in a hot climate, so I live in sandals. My only complaint is the heels are a teeny bit elevated (hurts my hip) and slightly tapered so they feel just a bit tippy. (I know, picky!). Really, they're great sandals. I got black suede, and the color is slightly grayish, which won't show dust as much.

Bought these shoes for my mom and she loves them. She said it is very comfortable and stylish!

These sandals are my new favorite! They are beyond comfortable even after being on my feet for 9 hours straight. Going forward I will seek out this brand.

The sandal hunt was long this year...all my old faves failed me. Toes rubbed raw, sore heels, arches, you name it. The styles are a bit hippie for me, but they are better in person. These are my new favorite pair! Good foot support but enough cushion, moderate arch, no rub straps. Ordered my usual EU size, and the fit was European, or a tiny bit wide for my B width foot. Literally wore them all day the first day with no ill effects. Trying a second style. Hooked!!

Got these in the mail today and so far very comfortable. I bought them for all day walking/travel but they are delicate looking enough to use with a casual skirt or dress for dinner. I hope they last as well as my shoes by Romika. I wore them over four years daily.

The toe strap doesn't hold my foot securely. Seems to be too far back.

Very flattering and super comfortable shoe but the footbed is so narrow in the middle I can't see myself walking distances in this sandal. Will return and buy another pair of the Romika IBIZA 55.

I’ve been wearing Romika sandals for years, always size 36, but this tan leather pair fit much larger than my other Romika sandals, with too much of a gap even when tightened. Also, the strap nearest the big toe is just too near for me; it rubbed against the toenail bed. I liked the style and generally love Romika’s for the style, fit , adjustable straps and removable footbed liner.

Wasn’t crazy about them. As one other person mentioned, the bottom of the sandal was narrower than the top so they were kinda wobbly. Returned.

I have the Tahiti 03 in three other colors. They all fit exactly the same. The black ones I ordered here are sized completely wrong, and fit big and floppy. No matter how tight I try to adjust them, they are still too big. Odd because they are all supposed to be the same size. Returning.
