I love these sandals. They look better on than shown in the photos. However, after only one week of wearing (I packed them for a trip) the straps, which cross at the ankles on both sandals are coming apart! I will need to return to the store and request a new pair. I hope that this does not happen again as these sandals are great for comfort. They are essential shoes for travel and sight-seeing in all kinds of conditions: city streets, uneven terrain, etc.

The fit and color were nice. I thought the sandal looked a bit clunky due to the strap that widened and covered the sole.

the straps are all velcro and hang over the side of shoe, plus there were scratches on the leather. The footbed was pretty comfortable.

This is a very good quality sandal, but the straps were too stiff and uncomfortable for me. I have wide feet so I really liked the width.

I had high hopes for these sandals since they felt comfortable but they just didn't fit my foot right. I have a wide foot and they weren't nearly wide enough.

This would have been my third time owning these exact sandals, but Josef Seibel shortened the length and now my toe just barely hangs over. I am so bummed. My feet are narrow so I am unable to go up in size without the whole shoe becoming too big.

Unfortunately these had to be returned. My first pair of Tonga 25's worked out fine, but with this pair I couldn't get the straps to velcro nicely. I mean, in trying to achieve a nice snug fit, I ended up with the strap slightly askew abd had Velcro showing. Not a nice look. I don't know if the design has been tweaked or if there is just a problem with inconsistency in production. I think it's been about four years since I bought the other pair.

This shoe was too short. I normally wear a 9.5 but the size suggested was too short. I really wanted these shoes to work.

Unfortunately these had to be returned as there were spots on the leather, upon receipt, (one was about an inch long) that looked like "bleach" had been spilled on the shoe. Will order another sandal when time permits.

The color was too gray I was hoping it would be more blue.

I am returning them because I did not like how the straps fit across my foot.

Very nice looking shoe. Concerned about the straps being on the side of the shoe instead of under the foot bed.

These Josef Seibel Tonga 25 sandals are so pretty. I love the style and the yellow color. They also seem to be very well made. I ordered my usual size 7 and they felt lightweight and supportive. However, I had to tighten the straps as tight as they would go, which causes the strap under my ankle bones to cut into my ankle bone, and that is very uncomfortable. Must return. Thanks Zappos, once again.

The Tonga fit well enough, but somehow it was just so boring! Even as a comfort shoe I just didn't want to wear it.

In US sizes I'm 7-7.5 and do tend to run narrow (AA). Despite the adjustable straps (all of the straps!) the shoes in 38 felt too wide for me and so had to return. I was bummed because I did think all the adjustable straps would help with fit.

These shoes are beautiful to look at and beautifully made. The fit is true and the footbed is very comfortable. However, I had to return them because the velcro on the ankle strap was very scratchy.

I love the look of the shoes, but the velcro straps on the ankle strap is very scratchy. And the ankle strap is a little tight.

Great looking shoe - in the box and on the foot. But the underside of the leather straps feels like cardboard rubbing against my foot. I’ve worn Josef Seibels for 30 years, but haven’t gotten any new ones recently. These are bad and I’m hopeful the brand is not going the way of some others where the shoes “LOOK” the same as prior versions, but they are not.

The leather does not hold up very well. Disappointed, because they were fairly expensive and Josef Seibel shoes used to last forever.

If you like a lot of memory foam, this is your shoe. For me, I find that it does not work. It makes my legs extremely tired once the foam sinks down. I am returning these. They seem very well made and of course felt wonderful at first when I put them on.

I loved everything about these sandals--they fit well and I liked the materials and style. But the top strap was too high. It hit me right where the top of my foot meets my leg, and it rubbed and hurt. So I had to return them.

I loved everything about these sandals' material, footbed, width, and appearance, and a 37 was the correct size for me. However, the top strap is too high for me--when tightened enough to keep the sandal on my foot, the strap hits my leg above where it meets the top of my foot, and the rubbing hurts my leg. I am very sorry to send these back.

I was very disappointed that these sandals didn't work for me. I have a pair of the women's Tonga 37 and just bought another pair because they are so comfortable, so I hoped these would be a flat version of that one which has a slight heel. Unfortunately, this sandal has a very pronounced arch support and it is in the wrong place for me and probably too high. After about 5 minutes trial wearing these at home, my arches were starting to ache. If you have high arches, maybe these will work for you. Also, for some reason, though very similar to the Tonga 37, this sandal seemed more clunky. I think the straps are wider so not as feminine.

Too small for me.

I really liked the look of the shoe more off than on my feet. The straps needed much adjustment for me. In the end I didn't keep them
