They are comfortable but give support. This is my second pair of these sandals. The first pair lasted 5 years and still are serviceable but are starting to look ratty so I replaced them. They are great to walk in and look nice.

Josef Seibel's shoes are the best! Once again they're comfortable to wear right out of the box. This is definitely my shoe for the summer.

I love the look of this sandal, and because all three straps are Velcro and adjustable, they fit my narrow foot really well. I like them so much I ordered another pair in navy.

These sandals are most comfortable to wear and I like the cork bottoms for quietness. The velcro closure makes it easy to get them the right tightness across my ankle.

My left foot is a 9.5 and right a 9 so one foot is usually uncomfortable but I find that European sizing is just right. I've bought other Joseph Seibel shoes that were quite comfortable, so I bought this sandal in size 40 and the fit is great. Actually, when I first slid a foot in I said, "Ahhhh." These shoes are the ultimate sandal. Supportive in all the right places and not too frumpy looking. Although I had a really hard time spending so much money on a sandal, I now think it was a good investment. These are well-made and look quite durable.

Very comfortable out of the box. All three straps are adjustable. Loving them so far and looking forward to lots of wear.

I own the brown pair. Love these as they provide excellent support and can walk for hours. I will be getting the black ones soon.

I really wanted to love this shoe, but I have a very skinny foot and the straps were just too loose, even though they are adjustable. Have to return.

I had to return these because they didn't fit right. My feet have changed since I owned and loved a pair of these sandals. I initially purchased them when I had severe plantar fasciitis. They really eased the pain and were sturdy and fashionable. They stood up to my long miles on foot through New York and Europe. After about 5 years of heavy wear, they looked it and I tossed them out. However, I now have age-related bunions that I usually don't notice but these sandals do not flatter them. So, not for me, but I recommend them for others. (Don't you just love reading everybody's foot problems here... like a support group.)

Incredibly comfortable footbed, the straps do not rub, totally adjustable straps makes the fit personalized. Also, very lightweight with cork sole. Love them!

I like this shoe so much that this is my second pair. Same size, same color. The size is 39 when every other shoe I get is 40. It is my go-to shoe.

I wish these had worked. The leather is very attractive and soft in this color and the leather-lined cork sole was comfortable but for the fact that they were just a bit too short (size 37 instead of my normal 38) so my pronating arches were not as supported as I would have liked. I ordered these in my normal 38 in black (not available in the silver in my size) but they were too large all around despite being the right length and couldn't adjust them enough to fit well to support those darn arches of mine.

Accommodated my wider forefoot but the arch support wasn't aggressive enough for my high arches. Otherwise, cute sandal. They seem super comfy.

Not made like they used to be made. I have bought Tonga 25 before & loved them, but this pair feels smaller. I had to return & am considering whether to order a bigger size. Have they changed their manufacturer?

Felt way too narrow. Other than that nice shoes!

These looked cute online, but didn't fit me well. The size of the footbed was appropriate, but I didn't feel like I could get the straps tight enough for a comfortable fit. My foot is a bit on the narrow side, but not so narrow that I've ever ordered a narrow-width shoe. The other thing that was a bit odd about these is the front strap -- where the straps meet at the velcro, the bottom strap is a bit wider than the top strap. It just looks a bit odd, like something did not line up quite right, but that's the only way it can line up.

They call the color jeans, but the color is grey. There are just too many adjustable straps, so if you need tighter in the toe area the strap is on the ground and mis-aligns the whole shoe. The footbed is perfect especially for metatarsal support. However, the straps are wonky on my foot so they were returned.

Just overall too big, I think. You would think that with 3 adjustable straps, you could adjust them as needed but the leather is stiff and to get them narrow enough, would not work. I usually like Josef Seibel but not these. Sad that I have to send them back.

The fit of this shoe is strange. Ihe length was perfect but I couldn't adjust the strap to fit my ankle. There was a gap of 1/2 of an inch at the tightest setting-- very strange. But the padding in the footbed felt like pillows-- very sad to return.

Supportive, comfortable and looks great with many styles. Great for walking long distance. I'm an avid city pedestrian! They don't bother my bunions either.

Most comfortable sandals I have ever purchased. all three straps are adjustable so you can "customize" it to fit your foot. Excellent quality as ell.

These sandals were adjustable so the subsequent fit was perfect!
