I haven't worn these yet except to decide to keep them. But the thing about aras is that they fit in the heel for me. I have narrow heels which is almost always a problem for slip-ons and for many other shoes as well. I have three pair of another style of Ara's that are sort of loafers with a small heel which I love - which is why I bought 3 pair. One pair I actually wore through. So I trust the brand.

I have very wide feet including bunions. I bought the 8 1/2 Wide and it fits great. Usually I buy a size 9 to get the width I need if there is no "Wide" option (which there rarely is). The shoes don't make my feet look huge either (in the wide sense). They actually look quite nice and are a pretty flat. The only reason I didn't give a 5 to all categories is because the heel seems ever so slightly too high for the shoe, so it doesn't feel perfect when I walk, just almost perfect! But after trying loads of flats (thank you for you patience Zappos), this works and looks the best.

I am a U.S. size 11 and ordered the 8.5 as indicated in the size chart. These shoes are a bit long for a typical U.S. 11 and very wide. If you have a wide foot, they will fit you well. Consider ordering a half size down if you like your flats to fit snugly but if you want to wear with socks then perhaps the sizing is okay. Overall, the shoe is very well made as are most German shoes -- high quality leather and leather lining. A bit clunky and old lady-ish for my taste.

I have to say felt true to size because there is not a category for "roomy." They are not TOOO big, but they are roomier than other 9 and a halfs. I could probably fit into the 9s but these do stay on my feet (which is a big deal because many shoes that are comfortable in the front of my foot are too big in the heel. In this case, without any pinch, they stay on my heel) . and I was in them for a whole day (trying them out around the house) and they were very comfy.

I love how the shoe felt, supportive and extremely comfortable. I have problem feet, pronated ankle and this shoe seems to help my foot. It is a bit short and I feel my big toes, tried the next size, was too big. Beautiful shoe but had to send them back

I normally wear a 8.5 and ordered 8.5 but not only felt wide but also long. I do have narrowish heal and It did slipped on the heal. As far a quality they are very nice and I like the flat. bummer that I had to return.

Perforated leather is cool on the feet, sole is thick and cushioned for lots of walking. I bought for a trip with lots of city walking.Look best with pants and shorter skirts ie knee length

These are gorgeous shoes! Soft and buttery leather! The other reviews had said that they were too large....I disagree, I ordered 1/2 size smaller to allow for the large size that was stated. They were too small for me so I'm back to ordering my usual size of shoe! I sold my order to a dear friend that said thanks for shopping for here again!! No return here!

These are comfortable, good-looking shoes.I bought a pair a year ago, the first pair since a substantial foot operation. I've worn and worn them, and wanted to have a pair that would look and feel new and fresh after the second foot operation. So I bought two pairs, one black, one denim blue. I love them.

If I could get this in every color, I would. Comfortable and very stylish

I have a moderate bunion on one foot and wear a size 10.5 W or 11 B. These were great - a true square toe with lots of room in the toe box. And they were wide enough. But, like other commenters, unfortunately I had an issue with the cut of the shoe - the opening along the top of the foot is oddly cut and it hurt. I’ve found through sad experience that this sort of thing is unlikely to improve on wearing, so I am returning these.

Nice looking shoe. Trying it in another smaller size. Liked the perforated look and fabric. Couldn't tell about the support it was so big. Nice and low for comfort.

I usually wear an 11 1/2 medium but, depending on the cut of the shoe, the bunion on my left foot sometimes causes a problem. These shoes were fine; very comfortable as far as width and support. It's a very pretty blue for Spring, will look great with jeans or casual pants. I plan to wear them flying to Europe next month as they are easy to slip on and off and yet still look stylish. Altogether, I am very happy with this purchase.

Very soft and well made. I usually wear an 8.5, sometimes a 9, but as the 8.5 was unavailable I thought I'd try the 9. It was way too big so I will now order an 8 if it's available. Would love to find my size in this shoe as it is just what I'm looking for.

Good quality

Very soft leather. I ordered a larger size than usual to accommodate some foot problems. These could be smaller but I can make them work.

Material is soft and shoes are really comfortable to walk in. Look nice on my foot as well although it’s a simple - not high fashion- look. Hence the 4 stars for style. I generally order a size 5 1/2 (equivalent to a an American size 8) but these shoes run wide in the toe box so my foot slipped forward and the 5.5 was too big. Ordered one size down - 5 (7.5 U.S.) and I’m glad I did. My foot is somewhat wide so it worked but if you have a narrow foot, these shoes are probably not for you. 4 stars only because of extra width even though it was not advertised as a Wide. But overall - works nicely for me.

The nine is just a tad too small and the 9 1/2 a tad too big, but I would definitely keep them. They are stylish and comfortable, but the suede looked old when the shoes came in and I've only worn them around the house for a few hours and the shoes look like I've had them for 6 months. i have seen this problem in other suede shoes and don't know what to do about it. I'd like to keep them, but they don't look new...and will no doubt look OLD very soon. I know ARCHE has found a way for suede to look good for years, but Arch is so soft they no longer flatter my old feet.

Really liked the style of this shoe. Although the length was too long (extra space at back of heel) and it was a bit too soft (sides are not rigid, and I was looking for more support).

OK shoe, but huge.

My poor 18 year old daughter with an 8½ wide feet lucked out with these! Great quality. She put them on and said they were comfortable from the get go. She wore them all day to school and still really liked them. I think she would have liked a little more style in them but overall they are good. Thank you, Zappos!

The fit and size were pretty accurate. There is no arch support in these shoes. The back part of the shoe is sturdy and supportive, but the front part of the shoe is thin sole and wimpy. Bends at the wrong spot making my toes scream in pain. Leather is really nice and soft. Not for my problem feet, but may work for some.
