I ordered the 10W wide shaft. My foot is a 10C. In Naya brand shoes I wear 10M. I ordered the 10W in anticipation of needing the extra room to wear thick wool socks. The width across the ball of the foot was astonishingly narrow. I would say much narrower than the usual Naya medium width. I actually checked the size stamp to make sure they weren't packaged incorrectly. It was a struggle to get my foot in and out below the ankle with the zipper opened wide. The wide shaft in this size measured 18 inches at the upper calf. These are good-looking and well-made boots. So disappointed that I have to return them.

These boots are very comfortable. I ordered half a size larger than I normally wear based on a previous review, yet I am not sure if it was necessary. I had no problem pulling on the boots and there was plenty of room in the wide shaft. I received several compliments the very first day that I wore the boots. I would highly recommend them.

This boot is pretty comfortable - there is a space where the heel attaches that's a little stiff. I put in an insert because I walk all over in them. It's a good heel height. The only place that the boot stretches is at the top - not through the entire shaft. I'm 5'10" and the boots hit me right around my knee.

These are great boots. They are very comfortable. I wore them over 10 hours the first day and my feet felt great. I did not need to break them in! I have had many compliments on these boots.

These are the first boots that fit over my 17" calfs after searching high and low. My right foot is slightly bigger than my left but after wearing them for a few weeks, they are fitting just fine. They definitely run true to size.

These are super comfortable. I love them! I am a hairdresser and stand for hours. I wear these all day and my feet do not ache! They are stylish and comfortable. With these boots I do not have to choose fashion or function. They have both!

I'm very happy with these boots - they strike a great balance between looking nice enough to wear with a skirt and look fairly dressed-up, but being practical and comfortable. The leather is nice and soft and the lining is very comfortable; they are probably a cold-weather boot as there is a bit of a soft fuzzy lining inside. The shoe part of the boot feels solidly built and has enough of a tread for some traction, but not enough to look like they have a lug sole. They are a true wide-calf boot - I have a tough time finding boots wide enough to get over my calves, but have no problem with these. A couple of other fit notes: they are very tall; if you are petite, they may not be a great fit for you. They are taller in the front than the back, but they're still pretty high in the back. Also, they definitely run both small and slightly narrow. I had to go up a half-size from what I usually wear and I very seldom do, so I would recommend ordering a half size up, especially if you plan to wear warmer socks under your boots. They also run a little narrow, but not extremely so.

These are gorgeous boots that are better suited to people who carry a lot of weight/muscle in the upper calf portion. I always order wide shaft boots, but these are a little too wide at the top for me.

Boots are beautiful and looked to be a winner. Size 8 did not fit comfortably on my 16 inch calves. I would not have been able to fit a jean or probably even leggings into them. Lovely looking and tall, just not wide enough in the shaft for my wide-calf needs.

Beautiful boots! I was really hoping the wide shaft would be wide enough and it was just not in the right spot. It felt pretty narrow from the ankle to mid calf. I was excited about the height of the boots as I normally can't find wide enough tall boots to fit over my calves. The top of the boot hit right at the widest part of my knee and gives it a muffin top - yes a muffin top on my knees. Sadly, I will have to return these boots and try again.

I adored these boots. They fit beautifully, just like all of my other Naya boots (unlike the shoes, the boots are fairly true and consistent in the footprint, so if one style fits, they all tend to fit. Not so much with their shoes, which vary in the footprint, in my opinion). But I digress. I loved these boots, they fit so well, they were so stylish, the wide shaft was really wide, and the shaft was really tall, and then...I sat my short little legs down while wearing them, and discovered that the shaft of the boot is really tall. So tall that it was cutting into the tendons in the back of my lower thigh. Sigh...sadly, I had to send them back. But, if you (unlike me) have normal people legs, you might be okay. Just be sure to be prepared for the "sit down" test while trying them on!

This boot fits extremely tight and is very difficult to put on with the small zipper on the inside of the lower half of the shaft. I am returning this boot.

I absolutely love these! I ordered half a size bigger than normal due to the reviews that I had read and they fit just right. They are super comfortable and they look fantastic, too!
