I have loved Sanita shoes for a long time - comfortable, great support, didn't hurt my back from wearing all day. However I have to give it only one star because in the past 2 days 2 pairs of my Sanita shoes completely fell apart - while I was wearing them! The soles separated from the shoe tripping me. I contacted Sanita and they said "the shoes are experiencing a condition called dry rott " . The shoes had been stored in the closet and not heavily worn. How the shoes - TWO PAIRS IN TWO DAYS - would just fall apart is beyond me. I searched the internet and found that this is actually very common. Wish I had known that or I wouldn't have paid so much for a pair of shoes I expected to have for many years. Sanita only warranties the shoes for 1 year so I am out of luck.

I was looking for a shoe that had the comfort of my Dansko Professionals but were cool enough for summer. I found that shoe in the Sanita Davia. It is comfortable, stylish and goes with everything. The color is great but not what I would call Raspberry.

I love Sanita sandals because the footbed does not flex and for me, that reduces fatigue for my hypermobile feet. Some people comment that Sanita sandals tend to be a little large in the forefoot, but the buckle on this model can be adjusted. You don't actually need the front of the shoe to be tight because the ankle strap is secure and the foot won't "squish" around on the platform because it doesn't flex. I actually find the Sanita sandals with a medium heel to be more comfortable than walking shoes that flex with each step. I wear Sanitas when I want to run errands all day. The only reason I'm sending these back is because I do not think the synthetic snakeskin will hold up to wear. I have a "thing" about fraying, and even brand new out of the box, I could see that the snakeskin is fraying slightly where the buckles have been rubbing on the fabric. If I could get these in black leather, I'd be thrilled.

Fantastic arch support - these shoes are more comfortable than sneakers!

If you have narrow feet and/or skinny ankles, you will like these a lot better than the similar Danskos. For one thing, they actually fit. 9 times out of 10, ankle straps are too long for me, but these (on the last setting) are okay. The adjustable toe buckle helps as well. Second, they are really comfy! I went shopping the first time wearing them - was on my feet for awhile - and had no issues. I think I'm going to buy them in other colors.

I couldnt wait for these shoes to be delivered. I bought a pair of Danskos as well but these sandals are the BEST! I have a neuroma and osteoarthritis in my large toe and have been in pain for over a year. I put these on and walked without a limp at 7 PM after a very long day at work! Seriously, I may never take them off and will be sure to look for some others that will accomodate the cooler weather. For right now I may just have to wear sandals!!!!

Great fit! Cute enough to wear with skirt or dress. The color is more on the gray side than the blue I expected. I kept them any way. (I wear size 5.5.)

I just received these and I m not sure I ever want to take them off! These are probably the most comfortable shoe or sandal that I have ever worn - except the Sanita clog that I wear in the colder months. I have had numerous foot surgeries and still have foot issues. That said, these are still comfortable and have lots of support. I highly recommend them.

Cute and comfortable sandal. I ordered the Raspberry color, which is actually more like a orangey/salmon color.

These so rock! They are super comfortable right out of the box. The footbed is soft and cushy but supportive at the same time. The leather straps are soft and don't rub. Awesome! I bought them in the coral color and black and sure hope you have them in White some day!

I wore these for 12 hours straight the first time I put them on. Couldn't believe how comfortable they were. Very happy with my purchase.

I really like these sandals. I am ony feet all day at work and find that my feet feel great at the end of the day when I wear these sandals. I wear them with pants as well as with skirts and casual dresses. I also bought a pair in black.

I absolutely love these sandals! I have been enjoying them all summer and at work teaching while the weather is still warm. I am on my feet all day, and they feel great at the end of the day! The fit is true to size - 40 fit perfect. These are fabulous neutral sandals for dress, work (if permitted), or casual.

Super soft and comfy. I have a pair of Danskos which I like, but these Sanitas are much lighter and less clunky feeling. I would say if you are having trouble with the European sizing, go with the larger size. I'm pretty much always an 8 and I went with the 38 when I should have done the 39.

Sanita Davia are not glamour sandals, but they are comfortable, sturdy, affordable shoes produced in a plethora of sizes & dyes. I chose the tan because it seemed the most versatile. The Davia is comfortable right out of the box. when tried on, my feet practically cooed. As feet tend to expand in the heat, particularly towards the end of the day, I appreciated the straps with buckles. Reading some of the other reviewers experiences with dry rot gave me pause, but I decided to chance it. So far, the Davia has proven its worth.

This is an unbelievably comfortable shoe. However, the color is more gray than blue, and to me it is unattractive. I am returning it and getting either the black or tan.

These fit fairly well but goodness were they uncomfortable. Felt like I was walking on a rock because the sole was so hard and inflexible. Right back they go.

I am a long-time Sanita and Dansko woman. These fit so expectedly comfortably. I was disappointed with the construction though. I expected the straps to have had stitching running along all of the edges for stability, as in all of my other shoes. They don't. And the straps seemed somewhat thinner and more flimsy than in the past. I expect them to loose their shape and become sloppy far too soon. Sadly I have chosen to return them based on this fact.

I loved the feel of these sandals and wore them a lot. The problem is the lining of straps have split off the exterior. This has made it hard to continue to wear them. This started happening late in the summer after just a few months of wear. I've never experienced that kind of deterioration before and totally didn't expect it from a brand I'd heard was excellent. So, extremely happy at first, now pretty disappointed.

I love them, but the right one started to squeak after a couple of weeks. Zappos just sent me another pair. Hoping they will stay quiet.

My feet slide out the front of the sandal, making them tighter makes them hurt. The elastic on the top buckle makes my foot move around too much. They have good arch support but the design is poor.

I have these in black. They're very comfortable, as I expect from this brand and Dansko. My only issue is that I don't like the raw cut of the leather. It would look nicer is they stitched the edges, as is typically done. I also worry that they'll look really worn and dingy after some use. I just got them, so that remains to be seen.

I have had some issues with newer Danksos and Sanitas not having enough width at the toe, but that was fine on this one. The sole felt great--soft and firm at the same time if that makes sense, and all in a good way. The problem that made me return them is the ankle strap placement (at front), which I am positive would absolutely tear my skin to shreds. I had a wonderful pair of similar Dankso mary janes for over a decade that I wore on European cobblestones and never had one blister, but neither Dansko nor Sanita are making a suitable replacement, sniff.

I received these in blue. I wanted to love them as that I am replacing another similar Dansko sandal but alas, they just look a little 'cheap', the way the straps are attached, the buckles etc, and, the blue is more gray than blue. The cut out in heel is also new for me and I didn't care for it. On the plus side, they are very comfortable. Back they go. I bought the Dansko Lottie instead.
