Shoes were typical J and M quality. Fit was good. The leather on this shoe is stiff and needs worn for a while to break in.

I have significant foot problems and these shoes don't work well for me. They are great looking and would probably work well for normal feet.

These are beautiful brown shoes. They are listed as burgundy or cordovan shoes - but they are definitely brown. The second set of laces that comes with the shoe is very much maroon. But the shoe is not. All that said - my husband kept the pair because they were very comfortable, and looked nice. He says they run a bit wider than average, even for his very wide feet. Also a little long. Johnston and Murphy always makes nice shoes.

I bought a pair of J&M before and it perfectly fitted, this one runs too small. Will fit perfect for narrow feet. As for quality, this is one of the top pair of shoes, very nice leather, well constructed and crafted. It'll worth every penny.

This is my second pair of Johnston & Murphy shoes. I bought my first pair two years ago and have loved them ever since. Even the shoe shine guy at 30th Street Train Station in Philadelphia commented on the great quality of the shoes. This wing tip is no different. There is rich thick leather on the upper and composite sole. The shoe fits comfortably and is a great value. I got both black and mahogany shoe laces.

I normally wear a 12W, but I could not get my foot in this shoe, so I returned them.

Eh. They look great but don’t hold up well with daily use. Great for a dress up but if you’re looking for high quality look elsewhere. Soles wear quickly.

Still felt a little snug and not very comfortable. Zappos was great about just sending me other pairs to try and I finally found some Rockports that fit the bill!

This shoe looks very nice and construction seems excellent. However, the toe box seems to be a bit long and made for a very strange feeling step with pressure on top near the toes as the shoe folded. I also had a problem with the right side rubbing on my right ankle. Maybe a smaller size would have worked better but I went with a different style Johnston & Murphy in the same size that feels great.

I received these as a Christmas gift, and although I love how they look, and have worn them a few times now, they develop an odd squeak as the day goes on. Since I work in a rather quiet office, I find myself trying to walk differently to avoid being "that guy" as I move around the office. I've tried different socks, and that has not helped at all. Love the shoes, just wish they weren't so "loud"!
