I bought and returned these. The style and fit were perfect. For $80 glasses, they're very light, which could be construed as "feeling cheap". But the light weight means you can hardly tell they're on, so they're very comfortable.
So why'd I return them? The lenses are very flat. I've never owned a pair of this (common) style before, so maybe this is standard, but if you're walking away from the sun, the sun reflects on the bottom, outer edge of the lenses from behind you… and it's like having two bright lights shining at your eyes. Couldn't get used to that. Secondly, I felt slightly dizzy after 10 minutes of having them on. Third, I wasn't super happy with the slight blue tint. If none of the other issues existed, I probably would have just adjusted to this. Fourth, I'm not a fan of "TIFOSI" being written right on the lens. You can't see it while wearing, but I just find it tacky. Though, I just exchanged them for the "Core" brown lens model, which also has that printed on the lens.
You might like them. I wish I could have kept them.

I just bought these and here are my observations - I am moderately qualified to review as I have had sunglasses from all of the high end folks-Ray ban, Oakley, Native, Costa etc but am not an expert. I like fit and comfortable foremost not only with sports glasses but also my casual. These are best of breed in that category. They are incredibly light and comfortable. You may construe this feel as cheap but I read it as Tifosi purposefully going for comfort. Now for the lenses. I have several pairs of Tifosi and all are very similar - I would rate as B- to average. Compared to Oakley or Costa (best of breed) they rate lower but generally have overall good quality. As to the review stating that these make things brighter, you have to realize that you really want crispness and a certain brightness as certain color ranges, glare and UV is blocked. Just darkening the light is really old school. If you look through these or Costas or Oakleys they make things more brilliant and clear not dimmer. Basically you want to cut out the light and glare that makes you squint but still have an illuminated view. This is particularly important in sports or lifestyle glasses like these that are primarily used for casual but can stand in and be you your sports pair in a pinch. As far as look, they have swagger and coolness but keep in mind, these skew to a smaller or medium sized head like me. I have a pair of the Hagen XL and damn those are some big glasses. Just keep in mind this when thinking about purchasing them because of you have a big noggin then these will probably be a bit small for you (even though Tifossi states that they can be worn from small to big heads). As far as value, good pair of glasses for about half the cost of Oakley lifestyle sunglasses and way cheaper than Costa (which my wife wears-great lenses and customer service but very expensive and geared to fishing/water activities). Hope this helps as I wanted to make sure that these did not get a bad rap because of one review.

I got these in the clear, and I love the way these glasses look, but unfortunately they really provided no darkening at all. I actually think everything looked brighter with these glasses and wore them outside once and found myself totally squinting. Too bad, had to send them back!
