Not as good a quality as expected. Not as flexible and somewhat itchy

I have 6 of these sports bras in 40c. This new one is a 40c and too small! Did something change?

I bought four of these bras (was in the market for new ones) after seeing the review in Wirecutter. They fit great but the stiching along the top and bottom of the mesh panel (where it joins with the cups) is very itchy. I have somewhat sensitive skin, but I was surprised at how unfortable it was. Will probably need to return them. Such a bummer!

It made me itchy. :( I wish they still had the 6209 style of sports bra. This one looked to be as close as I could get to the 6209, but the material just didn't work for me for some reason.

I purchased this by my bra size. It was way too small. I returned it.

Ordered a 36D. Band is barely 36, much more restrictive than my other 36D sports bras.

I've bought 2 different Champion sport bras - this one included - & they now sew them with PLASTIC thread. I have very sensitive skin and this irritates my skin horribly and I end up breaking out. PLEASE go back to using regular thread!!! Otherwise, the bra is nice, just extremely disappointed in the thread.

My only cocern is the stitching inside of the cups is causing redness on my skin. I am going to try rubbing vaseline or something similar to see if it makez a difference. Still not sure if I like this product.....

Like others, while the overall fit and support is good, I found this bra to be very scratchy. Unfortunately, I think its due to where the different linings of the bra are sewn, but it makes the bra very uncomfortable!

I previously purchased this bra style at a retail outlet and thought it was the best sports bra I ever had. The one I ordered online was the same size and model number but fit completely differently. Not comfortable at all. Very disappointing.

The straps are comfortable. The band is comfortable. Nice medium support. The reason I can only give it 2 stars is that the mesh material on the inside is so incredibly itchy, I swear I'm getting a rash whenever I try to wear it! To me, that says it's made from low quality materials, because I've never experienced anything like this before. Very disappointing. This would have been a great bra otherwise!

I have purchased this same product in the past and it formerly was more supportive. Now, even with wearing two sports bras, it's not supportive enough for running. Such a disappointment.

I am a long time lover of the discontinued 072 model and had high hopes that this would finally be a suitable replacement. The fit was fine and really did the job of holding my 34C/Ds in place while jogging at first. Unfortunately the cool mesh lining material is so itchy. I didn't understand what the other reviews were saying until I felt it for myself. Also, one of the straps loosened by about half an inch during my workout.
Since I am not that large and only ran for about 30 minutes I was surprised that this bra caused me so much discomfort.
PLEASE bring back the 072!!!

I saw so many great reviews of this sports bra and wanted so much to love it. I bought a couple right before moving overseas and am now stuck with these really itchy bras. I don't know who possibly could have thought that putting a seam inside the cup was a good plan!!! After three miles I am red and sore- I can't imagine doing more than that.

I recently bought 2 of these and washed them both before I wore them. The first one I wore made me itch - it felt like I was being pricked by tiny thorns. I tried the other one to see if would feel the same, and it did! I think it's the fabric inside the cups - it feels fine when I run my hands over it but not when I'm wearing it!

This champion sports bra is very itchy on the inside and not as supportive as I was hoping it would be.

I have purchased the older bra with different straps and had no problems with red marks on my shoulders. This style has different straps that cause friction which leaves a red mark on both shoulders. I have the old bra and went back to wearing it. Does anyone else have this problem with style CH1602? Other than the straps, it's a great bra.

Bought this a month ago. So excited with style, color, and fit. Washed it before I wore it. Wore it to the gym and to my dismay, the seams on the inside were scratchy/itchy! Thread seemed like some kind of plastic! Itchy! Mad!

This bra is very comfortable.....that's pretty much the only good thing about it. It's very difficult to get on with the hook/eye closure at the back. Plus, it does not cover well (you can see EVERYTHING- if you know what I mean). That's the problem with most sports bras though. It also seems to run a bit small, so I would size up. I would not recommend this product.

I have Champion bras from a couple of years ago that fit perfectly and look great under tee shirts, so I ordered two of these bras in the same size as my old ones. These bras have an inner and outer layer. The inner layer fit perfectly, but the outer layer has excess material which wrinkles and bunches up under tee shirts. I have no idea why they are made that way. I can use them under a jacket or around the house but not for the purpose I bought them for. Would not recommend.

I live in Phoenix, AZ. Summers here are HOT. For years, I ran wearing lightweight Champion bras that had only one layer of fabric, perfect for summer runs. Today, the omnipresent style is bralets. Cute. But HOT. I bought this bra because the promo said it was the most lightweight bra they had. Waaay to heavy for summer running. Not especially comfortable. But fits well enough for gym workouts and dance classes. I'm still looking for a summer running bra.
