First let me say that I love this shoe and will probably be buying it in black soon! I nearly always wear a US size 7, Eur size 37, but when I got the 37, it felt very large - ? maybe because of the straps. So I sent it back for a 36. The straps felt very comfortable, my foot more stable in the shoe, and my toes were close to the end of the shoe but did not by any means hang off. I wore these shoes to work right out of the box and they were very comfortable all day. It would be nice if they had a little more arch support, but it's hard to ask for more than a stylish shoe that is comfortable all day right out of the box!

I bought these gladiator sandals in the color Brandy size 40 (US 9.5-10) and they are awesome! I am a 9 -9 1/2 in between Medium & Wide - and these shoes are just right. They are leather outside and completely lined in leather inside, very difficult to find these days leather lining in shoes. Pikolinos is one of the few brands which keeps making shoes lined in leather. Thank God, because my difficult feet are allergic to the synthetic lining! On my pair it says on the inside that they are Made in Vietnam. Even if they are not made in Spain, the workmanship is outstanding. They worth every penny. I wore them yesterday at work for the first time, and I was expecting at the end of the day to have the feet somewhat swollen (especially the left foot was pretty tight) and marked by the strips, but when I took them off, late in the evening, I found nothing like that! Excellent overall quality! Pricey sandals, but if you have little extra money you should really consider pamper yourself with such quality shoes. Pikolinos rocks!

These shoes are made in China! This is the second time I see Spanish shoes made in china. Very disappointing. The craftsmanship is nearly not as good, but overall shoes are nice. I am still thinking whether or not to return them. I just can't imagine they'd charge the same amount as they do for the real ones, made in Spain.

I absolutely love these. They are so comfortable. I have had a knee replacement and these are the first heels I have been able to wear!

These are pretty expensive, but they are the coolest shoes I have had in a while. I wear booties in the winter, so these are now my summer "booties." Provide enough coverage to be appropriate for work, not too high so I can walk, and yet so cool. I take a size 11 and ordered a 41 (the largest size available) and they just fit. Wore them to my son's college graduation yesterday (lots of walking about)...very comfortable and my father in law complimented my shoes!

Very nice shoe. However the straps across the arch are way too loose. So the shoe doesn't feel very secure and moves a lot when you take a step. Need to return.

I've worn the hell out of this shoe. Still going strong after 6 summers, no joke. They are so well made, worth every penny.

These shoes are great- they look sharp and are comfortable. I have several other pairs of Pikolinos and ordered my usual size. I had to order the next size down.

The shoe is gorgeous. I was worried it would rub the top part of my ankle but I had no problem. I tend to have narrower feet and the fit like a glove. So if you have wide feet or bunions I don't think I would try them. I wear an 8 and the 38 was perfect. The heel is a good height as I am 5'8" and I did not feel they were too tight. Would highly recommend.

Very cool shoe! And very comfortable. The heel is a height that can be worn all day, yet just enough to make your legs look good. The leather is soft enough to be comfortable. Great with jeans or a dress. A very pretty shoe which is comfy right out of the box.

I have bunions and can never find shoes with a moderate heel that are both comfortable and stylish. These fit the bill so well that I just bought a second pair (yikes!) so now have both the black and the brown. Have received many compliments on the beautiful shoes. The leather is soft and forgiving but doesn't feel loose. The heel is just thick enough to provide stability but not so thick that it looks clunky. These are beautiful shoes. I wear a U.S. 8.5 and in the past Pikolinos' size EU 38 has worked well. I ordered a 39 in these and while the 38 would probably work well too I'll keep the 39. Comfy so far. I have bunions and the give in these shoes is perfect. I'm still trying to decide what outfit they look best with but I'm confident I'll work it out!

I absolutely love these shoes! I wear a size 11 in US. They were a little snug the first time that I wore them but after that they fit perfectly! These shoes can be worn all day. I am so glad that I spent the extra money because it was well worth it.

These are cute and mostly comfortable, just not for me. I liked the way they fit (normally I wear an 8 or a 39 and they fit me true to that sizing) and the fact that the heel might as well not have existed. I did not like that the zipper rubbed on the back of my ankle. It's common with this style of shoe so it wasn't a surprise and it can be fixed by using moleskin or a band-aid but it annoyed me. I also felt like there was too much room between the top of my foot and the sandal. It made my feet look chubby. Overall, a quality shoe; it just didn't work for me.

Okay sandals, and true to size. However, I don't like that the sandal is black and the heel is brown. The heel isn't really a "wide" heel, but it's not a "lengthen your leg" high heel either; a bit too short and "old lady-ish" for me, even though I am not a twenty year old anymore - far from!

Very stylish shoe. Ran a bit large. I liked it but didn't like the fit, and for the price I needed to love it. It was returned.

Super cute shoe and comfy. The heel is a bit slippery though and loud.

I just got the Java in black because I loved the shoe so much when I bought it in brandy. I could barely wait to wear the black ones. But when I put them on, the leather was stiff and poked my toes, did not conform at all to my feet as had the brandy pair. I have read a couple of reviews from people who found shoes made in China. I looked all over the shoes and boxes for any sign of this and couldn't find it. But, despite trying to break them in around the house, they remained uncomfortable. I am exchanging them for another black pair and praying they will be as wonderfully comfortable as the brandy pair I bought earlier. This shoe runs large. I had to size down - I wear a size 7 and usually take a 37, but had to get a 36 because the 37 was way too large.

I wanted these shoes to look cute. I am an 11, and the 41 was too short (I could not zip the back). Plus, the shoes just looked cheap, both the top leather and the sole/heel. And for the price, they should not look cheap. A pity, as they were a cute style.

Such a fabulous style; however, the strips of leather are too loose across my size 9 medium width foot, providing little stability. I am so disappointed to have to send these back.

The shoe has this funky ¼ inch pice of leather that sticks up all around the shoe. Not attractive and will look awful in a couple of wears. Too bad, bc other than that it is a cute shoe.

Not the quality I expected from this brand. Felt flimsy and ultimately I returned them. Label said "Made in China". I was disappointed.

I wear a 5 1/2 yet the Java Pikolinos 36 which is supposed to be the equivalent of 5 1/2 ran quite large and my foot was swimming around in it. The 'leather' didn't seem like leather at all...more like a leather substitute. The zipper in the back was hard to get up and down as well. I returned them. Very disappointed...the shoe was priced at $180 and it felt like a cheap knock-off.

I have problematic feet (flat feet, bunions, neuropathy) & I was able to wear this shoe for 5hrs during a function b4 I started to feel anything, which for me is a miracle. I would definitely recommend this shoe. I'm a size 9, but in open toed shoes, I always buy a 1/2 size bigger (don't want that hanging foe over the edge of the shoe thing ) it was perfect
