Depending on what you want from this boot, it will either be perfect, or will leave enough to desire. I bought them because I wear women's size 13, and there is no manufacturer making this size women's snow boot. These seamed sleek and stylish enough to double as women's boot, and I wasn't wrong. If stile and appearance is what you have in mind, this is the boot for you. First off, they are very comfortable, and men's size 11 fit me perfect. The toe box is slim but still comfy, the leather is beautiful and after several wears in snow and salt, there are absolutely no blemishes. The quality appears to be unmatched by any other boot I have ever owned. However, if an actual snow boot is what you need, this might not be the right fit. To protect your ankles from snow, you will need to lace all the way up, including the top eyelet, and tight. Once you do that, the side zipper will not loosen the boot enough to get your foot in and out. You will need to loosen the laces every time. This is tedious and would call for side hooks instead of eyelets for the 3 top fasteners. Also, a warmer sock is needed as the insert is not very warm. And, I would make it a few inches taller to allow playing in deeper snow with my kids. So, it leaves at least a few things to desire for a functioning snow boot.

I knew we would be for a heavy winter in New England but I did not want a pair of bulky snow boots. Also I really wanted something that was easy to get in and out of. These did not look really big and had a side zipper so I assumed they would fit the bill. But they were bulkier than I assumed and the zipper is awkwardly on the outside and was really more of a cosmetic feature because they did not really make the boot any more loose or tight and the quality of the zipper made me feel it was about to break. They were really warm and pretty comfortable though but that was not enough to make me want to keep them.

I bought these in a 41 for myself and a 42 for my husband. We both wear 9 -91/2 (yes, I have big feet) but in this particular shoe the 42 (9-91/2) fit my husband perfectly. But it was too big for me, so I had to go down to 41 (8-81/2) for myself. So keep that in mind. I'm giving it a high rating bc the 42 fit my husband well.

These are the most NARROW men's shoes I've ever tried on. I'm a woman with a wide foot so, for boots, I often try men's. Even with a normal sock (not a warm one), these were too narrow! All of the Pajar boots I tried on ran narrow! So disappointing! Otherwise, they were great!

Really like this boot. But, it runs a little small, so I have to exchange it for the next size up. I wear a women's 10W/10.5W, so I ordered these in 41, following Zappos' chart. They were a little tight across the instep and felt a little short too. I think they'll work in 42. I would recommend these, just size up.

Per the reviews i went a full size up from my normal size and they fit perfect. Super warm and got to test them in the rain first night out of the box and not a blemish, couldn't be happier! A little worried about the laces but that's easily fixable.

I wanted these boots so much! They are too narrow to wear with anything thicker than a nylon. Very sadly returning them.

Stylish, comfy and warm. Maybe not as warm as a pair of Sorel's, but they aren't nearly as clunky either. The side zip is key and makes getting in/out a breeze without having to loosen the laces entirely. Waterproof so far.

I'm happy with my boots. They are warm, comfortable, and light weight given how tall they are. In some reviews I read that you should order 1/2 size above your shoe size, but I think they run pretty true to size.

Bought these to walk dogs covering various terrain. VERY easy to walk on pavement, hills, woods, wet areas. Cold does not penetrate them. I take a womens' 9, ordered 40 which fits perfectly with thin wool socks. Have a high arch and have no trouble sliding them on and off. Jean pant legs easily slide over the tops. They look really good too.

Boots are amazing..great quality. Perfect for winter in the pacific north west.

Great boot for slush, snow, sleeting weather conditions. Comfortable enough to wear all day if outside. Recommend this boot and pleased with the purchase.

Definitely order one size up! I ordered a 42, which says on the boot is a US men’s 9-9.5. Almost every shoe and sneaker I have is 8.5 or 9. I figured 9-9.5 would be safe, but I had to return for a 43, which is a 10-10.5! That size up fits great. Fortunately, Zappos offers very easy free returns. My comfort rating of 5 stars is based on boots. Keep in mind they’re not going to be as light, comfortable, and flexible as your favorite pair of sneakers. However, I’ve worn them three days straight and they feel broken in already. If they’re initially too tight around the ankle, you can always loosen the laces or just keep the zipper down for added comfort.

These are exactly as marked, too large and too narrow, unfortunately, for my husband's block feet. The toe box goes narrow, so if you have wide toes, this is not the shoe for you. It's so unfortunate because they are really some of the most attractive boots ever!

I have been wearing these all winter and I love them. I have walked miles in these things and the sole is hardly worn. I would say that they have a ton of room in the foot, so much so that I put an insert inside but once the insert was in these things were fire. I dont want winter to end because I wont be able to wear these anymore. They are waterproof, they stay clean looking even when you step in nasty stuff, salt does not damage them and they are warm. I would say the coldest I used them in is 10 degrees F.

I hate winter boots, but finally found ones that are bulky, warm and comfortable.

I had my eye on these for weeks. They looked amazing and super cozy, and my hesitation was that I'd never heard of Pajar. I waited for a couple reviews to show up. Glowing. I said YES! I wear these boots just about everyday. They are sooooo comfortable on my feet, I call them my outdoor slippers. And I jump in puddles without getting my socks wet. Pajar, you have a new fan.

Quality boot. Haven’t had any extreme weather to test them in yet but thus far they seem to perform well. Slide on and off easily which is what i prefer when it comes to boots and shoes. The zipper feature helps in this regard. The style isnt as rugged as i would like but im a function over style type of person and as stated this boot seems to function quite well.

I'm a size 12-12.5 in most shoes, and I actually bought both a 45 and 46 to see which end of the spectrum I fell into for these boots. I tried on the 45, and while it felt great in the toes and had a perfect amount of room there, it was very tight in the heel. I put on the 46, and the heel felt a lot better, but there is a little slippage if I don't get the lacing just right. I think a thicker sock (which I'll probably wear with them anyway), will alleviate a lot of that problem. Overall, the comfort level of these boots is awesome, and I love the style. If the fit were a little less strange between sizes, I'd give it a 5/5. Very well made boot, and very comfortable, especially if you fall into the sizing better than I did.

I normally wear a 9.5 but these run small. They fit but there was no room for socks. also narrow at the end of toe box.

I love the look of these, but even though I take a size 12 and purchased a size 13 for added room my big toe is rubbing on the tip and side, with thin socks. I thought it would get better with some breaking in but it's only gotten worse, too late for me to return. I lose.

Don’t even think of buying Pajar booths. Mine broke apart at the beginning of the second winter (see attached picture). Since they have a 6-month limited warranty, there is nothing to do
