I LOVE these boots. Cozy warm. Love the side-attached tongue and streamlined Velcro closure. Can’t wait to try out the convertible spikes on the sole! What a creative and practical idea!

Sent back and got 1 size smaller. Much better fit. Wish they had the red color in stock.

I soo wanted to love these boots (which seem to be identical, by the way, as the Pajar Samara--I ordered both, and they look just the same), but I'm sending them back. I wear an orthodic, and with the fabric nature of the construction of the boot, there was insufficient support for me. I could see my foot pronating right on over, if I were to wear these all day. Easy on/off, although I'm not a huge fan of velcro. Loved the idea of the pop-over traction pins on the bottom--no experience with the boot to say how effective they are, and how long-lasting. Styling-wise, I was hoping for something that could pass off as a bit dressier...maybe if these were in leather, that would help on that front. But they look to be comfy, practical snow boots, if that's what you're after.

Better than expected. Very comfortable for long distance walking, warm, and best feature are the ice grippers for those times when it is icy and you typically slide all over the place. I inadvertently bought a size larger than needed but I was very happy as I wear a heavier sock with my boots and I am very comfortable with the fit. Have recommended these to several friends already.

Loved these boots.. I could tell that they would be perfect for the cold, and snowy weather. I have a narrow heel, so the boots were too wide in the heel, causing them to slip up ad down. Sorry have to return them.

The snow and ice this winter has been more than usual and after trying what seemed like a truckload of boots, I settled on these wonderful boots from Pajar. They are absolute winners. The boots are stylish, warm, easy to get on and off, adjustable around the ankles, stain-resistant and best of all, the traction is stellar even without using the grips that you can use to increase traction (they come with a "key"). I feel like I can confidently walk across most wintery surfaces and not end up on my back. I do have high arches so I replaced the insole with my own and they are super comfortable. I can also get by without having to wear super thick socks. How I wear them with jeans: Bootleg jeans fit comfortably over them or I roll them up with larger cuffs. My baby boot jeans get tucked in (so not into the skinny jeans thing). They look great with leggings. Because they are so stylish, I do not have to wear snow boots to work and then change into another pair of shoes.

This boot is amazing! I tried several snow boots before stumbling across this one. I wanted something I could wear in the snow and also walk in or leave on for several hours indoors without getting sweaty feet. Pants can be tucked in or fit over the boot. I think I could walk miles in these right out of the box! They are very comfortable, warm and the ice cleats saved me on icy sidewalks this morning! I recently discovered Naot shoes and these have a similar fit.

I have narrow feet and am used to sliding around inside of my winter boots. These fit me like a tennis shoe - without the annoying laces! If you have wider feet, I imagine these will not be a good match for you. I listened to the other reviewers and sized up, and I should not have - I swapped them out for my normal size and they fit perfectly. They aren’t the most attractive boots and look much cheaper than they are, but they are very easy to get on and off, keep snow from getting down inside they boot, and have exceptional traction. They are NOT warm though. I expect winter boots to keep my feet warm with normal socks (in my experience too many layers of socks make my feet even colder) and my feet were chilly in these - cold even - after ten minutes in 25 degree weather. I’ve already taken the tags off, so I can’t return them, so I will use them for walking the dogs - when my feet are fairly warm anyway from all of the movement. They are so comfortable, I imagine I’ll be able to walk long distances in these! If you are deciding between these and a Sorel boot, the Sorel will keep you warmer.

These are good. Not the prettiest and not the best support but good for shorter walks on icy areas. I adore the flip out spikes. So much easier than yaks.

Seems nice: soft & warm upper boot & nothing rubs my "bony" ankles. I do need a smaller size. Other reviewers talked about the sole being STIFF & I see what they mean. My narrow heel came up (smaller size might help). Thinking of trying a DIFFERENT Pajar boot because I have a Tailor's Bunion (pinky toe) and the side wall rubber of boot might be a problem. Not sure IF the special Pajar "ice picks" need to be in the stiff sole. So I might try a Pajar with a different sole. If you don't have picky feet like mine - they could be PERFECT for you!!

Great snow boot. Ready for next snow. Did not come in original box and the Pajar key for flipping cleats was missing.

Great boot if you live in an icy, snowy climate! Love the cleats that retract and the boot itself is comfy, fashionable and warm. My only suggestion to Pajar is to put a connecting ring on the cleat instrument so that you don't lose it! Would love to just hang it on my keyring.

Great boot; really warm and easy in and out. However, even with a narrow foot, these are really, really narrow! Hated to return them because they are perfect for icy winter weather, but they would quickly become uncomfortable. Zappo's is great; especially the customer care!

I returned these boots because I ordered them in black but you sent red!

I was looking for a pair of warm boots that would be able to handle the slushy city streets. I found that my heel was slipping pulling my socks down and the bottoms were too stiff.

Narrow toe bed and feel like they run a half size small. Ice gripper is cool. Not bad looking for true snow boots and very warm.

Beautiful boots. I loved the spike idea on the bottoms, but NOT WARM at all! 10 minutes standing on my porch in 30-degree weather and my feet were cold. Very cold. Not going to cut it in Maine. Sadly? returned.

Had these for a year; wish I could return them as they are not only NOT warm, they drain the warm from your own feet. There are higher priced ones of this brand, and maybe they would work. These are washout to me.

I think whoever packed these boots and shipped them to me must have gotten the wrong size. There is no size tag anywhere on the boot. I was supposed to get a size 36 which is equivalent to a size 6 US. I would estimate that these boots were a size 8 or 9 U.S. I like the boot, but it sure would have been nice to have received the correct size. Since there is no marking of the size on the boot I will not try to reorder in correct size.

The size was too large. I love the idea of these boots but 36 fits more like a US 6 than a 5.5. Too bad they seem like great winter boots.

These boots, while warm and comfortable, have a serious design flaw that make them unacceptable. My city has lots of slush in winter, and these boots capture that slush and transport it somehow to the back of my calves. My pants and calves became completely soaked the two times I wore them -- such that I had to put my jeans in the wash and bring my dress pants to the cleaners. I had my daughter walk behind me and she saw the boots kick up slush and soak my pants. I have never had this happen before with any other boots and am curious if others had this happen. In any event, I can't wear these boots in my city. They probably are fine if I'm just walking through snow from car to building, but as I like to walk city streets they are no good. strongly advise against purchasing them if you like to walk in winter.
