I struggled to find the right size for me and needed to go one size up. Despite that, they really look beautiful!

I initially ordered these in size 38 -- I'm a consistent 38. I should have listened to other reviewers. The 38 was too tight and short in the arch --- you want a little air in cold weather boots. The 39s are perfect: I've tested them out in our Minneapolis snow this morning -- warm, good grip (even without using the key), easy on and off -- and, they don't make me look like a lumberjack. They are as stylish as subzero snow boots can be.

The Pajar snow boots are so cute! They are just as warm as Uggs but you can wear these in the rain and snow without getting damaged. They are super comfortable and very warm. I bought them for a ski trip in Tahoe. They are very functional and stylish. I like that you can flip over to the snow spikes. I never had to do that because the boots have enough tread at the bottom for traction. I also wore them in a rain storm and stepped in a huge puddle of water. They are waterproof and durable. I wear them on cold days without snow or rain. They keep my feet toasty. They are expensive but worth the price.

I bought these boots for the retractable ice grips and loved everything else about them: the front zipper; the fur trim; the insulated, waterproof material and the metal stud trim. They're wicked comfortable and warm and have a great tread. With the ice grips flipped open, footing on ice is that much more secure. I ordered a size up from what I usually wear and it was the perfect length. Unfortunately however they were a little too narrow across the ball of the foot so they had to go back. Very unfortunate because I was in love with them! :(

I ordered these to walk around in snow and ice for a ski trip. They fit perfectly and were not only comfortable, but super quick to throw on with that front zip. Not only that, but I got compliments every time I wore them. I am typically a 7.5 or 8, Zappos suggested a 39. It felt just right. I had some wiggle room in thin, athletic socks, but they still stayed on and felt comfortable. In ski socks, they fit like a glove.

This is a great boot, but runs narrow. I'll try the next size up.

Love this boot! The ONLY thing wrong was it was too short. With everyday socks my toes were hitting the front so even wearing a warm sock would not have worked. I'm a true 11m and that's the largest they offer. Very disappointed.

Love these boots! Walk a mile in my commute (Chicago) and these boots are comfy, warm and I don’t skip!

They look great, they are warm, and I love the ice gripping feature. They are a bit more expensive that other styles but way more comfortable than my old Sorels and I look forward to wearing these out and about!

I like the style, seems well made, calf fits fine on a ‘normal’ calf. But the boots are very narrow and short. I have slim feet, and am always a size 8-1/2 to 9. First I got a size 40, they had to go back right away. The 41 (the label says it’s a size 10! I have never worn a size 10). The length in 41 is ok, the width - I can feel the sides of the boots if I wear medium thick socks with them, but I think they’ll do. I am wondering how the ice grippers will function (main reason I bought these boots) when the treads get filled with muck and crud in the winter. If they work I am happy with them.

As others have stated, these run narrow across the ball of the foot and cause a bit of discomfort on the big toe joint after i wear them for a while, but overall they are comfortable and more supportive than any other boots I have ever worn. I do feel like they are true to size as I wear a 10 and got the 41. I think a larger size would have been a sloppy fit. They are easy to slip into, not too heavy or clunky, look great and have super traction.

Very nice boot, but strangely narrow for a winter boot. It was light and warm, but way too tight.

I have had surgery in both feet and have the in-between size and so the 39 was too big, but the 38 seems a little narrow. As far as the size, my big toe has room, so the 38 is fine. I've compensated with a less bulky sock and think that as I break in the boot it will fit better. The boot is perfect for Northern MI winter and that slippery days. So here is too hoping that the adjustments make it a perfect boot. The style is wonderful and the right length for snow drifts that are yet to come.

Overall I love the look and design. There is a little “key” that allows you to flip down spikes when walking in ice, then flip them up to avoid damaging floors. Unfortunately they run narrow and are not comfortable for me in the ball of the foot where my foot is widest. Sadly they are going back. Zappos was great with the return!

Boots are lovely but zipper gets caught easily, going back unfortunately.

This boot is so cozy and I really loved the upper soft shaft, but everyone is right. It runs narrow right where my toes are and I had to return it. I thought I could make it work but it squishes my toes. If they fit right I would do 5 stars!

Love these boots. They run narrow....... they will not stretch, so sadly returning.
