These were the ones I picked after a couple were ordered & returned. I am happy they are as comfortable as boots get. They are waterproof and very warm. We ski in the winter so I wanted a pair of boots I could walk safely through the snow in (Uggs are cute, but don't have much traction on ice), but also wear through the airport so I don't need to pack boots in my suit case. My kids keep me attending lots of cold or wet sporting events outside & these are my new "go to" boots for those weekend activities. Finally, the boots with ties are pretty in this year -- so I went with the current trends. Hope this review helps, as I appreciate the honest reviews of other shoppers!

I am picky about my boots. If my foot slips around, or my sock is taken off and eaten by the boot, I just can't do it! This boot is GREAT. It is cute, comfortable, warm, and fits very well. I LOVE these boots for everyday, dry, wet, cold weather.

After a very long and arduous search, I happened across these (because of another Zappo-er's review!) I'm a size 10, I ordered the 42 at first because of all the reviews that said the boot was too small. I found the 42 a little too big, so I sent back for a 41 (great Zappos' customer service, as always!!!). There was enough room for at least one thick wool hiking sock, if not two pairs. The inside is lined with black fleece-like material and the toe box a felted material. They are warm, tested them out today in -3* in Chicago. The tread is also good- had soon some reviews about slipping. I wouldn't wear these on an ice rink, but they do well on the occasional patch of sidewalk ice. I wore my Sorel Joan of Arctic boots last weekend, and these were easier to get on/off, and just felt cozier,

These are the perfect snow boot! I love the look and feel of them. It is like wearing a blanket on your foot. Can't wait to wear these in the winter!

I was surprised to find the faux fur is almost white. It's a very light cream color nothing like the photo. I wish it was a light tan instead but I still like the boot. I wear a size 6.5-7 and ordered both a 37 and 38. The 38 fit much better. The 37 fit but only with a very thin sock and there wasn't much room for airflow which is key in a winter boot. Overall cute, now just hope they're warm!

Super narrow in the toe/front of the boot. I really tried to convince myself that they fit!

Loved the boost BUT a size 38 is NOT a size 8 US.... the label on it reads size 7/ 7.5 so if you want these, check your size carefully. I'm returning these for a size 39

I really like these boots. I wanted something warm and easy to slip on to walk the dogs and these were perfect. The toggle at the back works well to keep the laces tied when you are in a hurry. The overall size was what I normally wear 7M, the only issue I have is there wasn't enough arch support. I remedied that with my own insoles.

Can't wait for snow. A little clunky but nothing like competitor brands.

Really like these, but am returning for a half size larger. I wear an 8M 98% of the time, and a 38.5 in Euro sizes. And 8 in this boot was just a little too small - and I tried on with no socks. Other than that, comfort and styling are great and I anticipate they'll be warm and dry based on other reviews... good winter staple (for taking to winter places, not my home town of Austin)...

These are super cute, comfortable and not heavy. I bought these for my teenage daughter who loved them but she discovered one boot made a weird squishy sound with every step on the first day she wore them. That is upsetting for expensive snow boots - but Zappos took them back without hesitation and replaced with a new pair. She loves them and I love Zappos.

I put these boots on today for the first time. I walked out my door, down in the elevator - to the desk - I had to come back up to my apartment and take them off. They are very uncomfortable - not the boots for sure - all my feet. Especially the left foot - I just cannot wear them much less walk in them. I would certainly love to return them and exchange them for another boot. I no longer have the box. Is there a way to exchange for something else - I am a very loyal Zappos customer!

They were very comfortable and flexible. I sent them back because they did not seem like upper material would stay dry after a day in the snow. They were also not very cute!

I tried 3 different Sorels, North Face, and Uggs, and I liked these the best.I normally wear a 9, so I ordered a 40. They fit with a some extra room for thicker socks. I think they look good with both jeans and leggings. They also feel very warm & cozy. Also, you can adjust the back with an elastic pull.I got these because we will be traveling to New York and Ireland this fall, and I needed some waterproof footwear, which I don't usually need in SoCal. Also, these tighten up easily, and loosen/pull off easily. I like that you don't have to work hard to get these on and off.

I am so picky about shoes and this boot is great. I bought many styles and they were all stiff and my sock would roll off inside the shoes as I walked. These look good and feel great and warm! Love!

These are fantastic boots! It took one day for them to soften up and now they feel like slippers. They are unbelievably warm, light, and flexible. Was only too happy to throw out my heavy old clunkers.

Wow! These boots are amazing. I am VERY picky about comfort and fashion. These boots are both! I have worn them several times this week. Living in Chicago with brutal temps, slush and snow, I am thrilled with these boots. Completely waterproof in the snow, warm (today it was -3) my feet are toasty and dry. Easy to put on, take off, and the sizing was great. (I wear a 7.5 and ordered at 38, they fit perfectly with thin socks). Not too clunky or heavy. Just the right amount of boot. Very obvious quality construction and materials. My super high arches are even ok in these. The drawstring tie in back allows for even more protection from the elements and to secure the boots to my feet. They feel like comfy gym shoes with great support. As an avid runner, I think I could run in these.

I just ordered these boots and wanted to let people know that they are not as pictured! I think the company must have changed something because I got a replacement pair from Zappos and had the same issue. Both pairs of boots that I received did not have the tie up the back! Kind of bummed but I'm still keeping them because they are warm and still look good. Also, other people had mentioned that the fur was almost white on the boots they received. This has also changed, mine were tan as pictured! I also contacted Zappos to change the description of the boots so hopefully no one else has this issue.

These boots are super stylish and slip on very easily. They are perfect if you need a little extra room in the toe box as well. However, the sole of the boot seemed a little too soft and bendable for my tastes. I was looking for something sturdier, so I ended up exchanging them for Kamik's Harper. These seem best suited for someone who only plans to wear them for a short amount of time on any given occasion. I don't think I'd recommend them to someone who plans to be on their feet a lot or to someone who suffers from plantar fasciitis; I'd recommend a boot with more support.

I got two pair of these, one in black and one in brown/taupe and ended up keeping the black. I'm a size 10 1/ 2 and went with the 42. The fit is good with great arch support, and plenty of toe box room. I loved the brown/taupe the best, but disappointed when the tie in the back fell off when I pulled it for a first time try-on. Also the faux fur in the back is NOT as pictured, it's stark white. My heart was set on the brown/taupe, so I "settled" for the black and honestly have not worn them at all. Cute details get lost in an all black boot. I bought a lace to match the stripe on the sole, so maybe it will liven up the black, otherwise, being so dark, you cannot see how cute the boot is. Comfort is good, but I like my boots/shoes to have that punch of style as well, especially at such a high price.

These were too narrow despite being pretty comfortable. I ended up keeping the Pajar Mosco 2 which fit great. I would have preferred leather so there would be a bit of stretch but these are comfortable.

I ordered these because they looked cute and warm, but I have not worn them in cold, snowy weather to properly judge warmth. However, they are really too short to be practical for snow activities like shoveling, walking through unplowed areas, or sledding, etc. They are cozy and warm and comfortable, but I prefer a taller boot for snow. I have average (slightly narrow) width feet and normally wear a 7½/38 and I ordered these in a 38 and they are snug with a mid-weight sock. I would order a 39 to be able to wear mid weight socks with enough room for air circulation to keep the toes warm.

I ordered 3 pairs of winter boots and these are my favorite. They are much cuter than I expected. Unfortunately, my right boot feels tight in the width. I am trying to decide if I keep them, and the next size up is no longer available. I wear an 8.5, and I ordered a 39 (8-8.5). The length feels fine with a medium weight wool sock. The lining in the footbed is not as padded as I had expected given the temperature rating (-22F), but it allows the boot to be lightweight and not clunky. Hopefully they are as warm as they say they are. It is -10F, and we have 7 feet of snow!

Toe box is too narrow, even in the larger size. Seemed like it would have kept my feet dry in slushy streets and snow, but a bit heavy, making walking a bit of a slog.
