I originally purchased the Arizona Soft Footbed in leather, but they were not comfortable on me. I exchanged for the Birko Flor and they are a lot more comfortable....for me.

I absolutely love the Arizona soft bed. I wore a 42 for years and then a lady at the shoe store told me I really needed the 43 because my toe was hitting the front and my heel clear to the back. This pair I ordered a 43 regular width and they fit perfectly. I have worn a size 11 shoe for years and am thinking it maybe should be an 11.5 size instead now. I tightened the front strap down a little tighter on this saddle than I have in the past and that really keeps the shoe on my foot where it belongs.

Bought these for my husband to wear as open-toed slippers in the house. He felt that his feet kept slipping out the back, though the shoes are very well made. Sad to return them.

These are now my new favorite shoes. We walked around New Orleans and I was happy as a lark and my feet didn't hurt. I have plantar fasciitis in my left heel and osteoarthritis in my right big toe. My left foot swells from a car accident many many years ago. These sandals cradled my heel, kept my toe from flexing, and didn't make my left swollen foot press against the straps. I like the leather straps since they don't collapse like the suede AND I can wipe them off with a soft damp cloth. I bought a men's shoe since they seem to run a little wider and made sure I had the soft-footbed. I tried TWO other pair of Birkenstocks before I landed on these. And Zappos is the bomb - they make returns effortless.

These shoes are very comfortable. I got the wide width because of bunion and foot issues. I wear a 6 1/2 and ordered the 37 which are perfect. They stay on when walking and have a cushioning sole. My very fussy feet approve of them. j

I love Birkenstocks and have many, many pairs, but felt I needed a navy pair to complete my closet. I only have a couple Arizona styles and they're not my favorite. My feet are thin & the style is rather clunky. But. These fit well, they are narrow & fit my foot. They're good for walking. Not the most stylish Birks I have but I love the color and the fit.

I am a 7 Wide and the size 38 fits perfectly. The navy leather is structured, but not stiff, and the footbed is both soft and supportive.

I ordered through Zappos because I knew that if the shoes didn't fit I could send them back. I was disappointed that the suede straps were not available in the color I wanted, so I decided to risk going for the solid leather straps. The shoes fit perfectly. They are extremely comfortable and I am completely satisfied.

The color and style was as seen on the website and the fit was perfect. Very comfortable and high quality material.

After 2 failed attempts, I finally found a pair of Birks that works for me. Zappos, as usual, was awesome with the returns and sent refunds right away. I understand there is a breaking in process with this brand, and I am taking my time with the process. This specific style has leather straps that are much softer than the others - no cutting into my feet or causing blisters. LOVE the soft footbed.

Classic Birkenstock Arizona. Comfortable and well made. Got them in dark blue. Planning to wear them with sock when chilly temperatures come in the New England Fall.

Originally ordered a size 39. I am 8 in US sizing. Was too big. Returned for a 38 and is perfect

excellent. I used to buy the narrows and the normal sole. the soft footed is amazing and the switch to medium width gives my feet room to spread.

Originally got the wider width but returned for the narrow. Much better fit for my normal width feet. Wear a 11 reg womens sneaker but got the 40N in this. The 41 WAY too long. Sizing these can be tricky. Soft footbed makes a tad bit difference & worth the additional cost, vs the regular footbed. Especially on my "senior" feet that has lost some of my younger fat pads & now thinner skin. Can't wear a lot of the birkenstock models, but the Arizona model fits my needs. Ha, I wore them back in the 60's when they were for hippies, then became " fashionable ". Who knew? Time tested & back again. Great model that seems timeless ?

Nice but the regular is very wide on me and I do not have a narrow food. So ordered the narrow width.

I got this in the black & the material is SO soft. Not scratchy or stiff at all. The N was too narrow, but the R was just right & I really dont have a wide foot. The R gives my foot plenty of room to "splay" without feeling too loose one yet. I. Straps adjust to perfect tightness across the top of the foot without irritation. As for the footbed, it is softer but not like a well cushioned athletic shoe. The support is there & will take no time to break in compared to the regular footbed. I ordered it also in the Navy color, but havent got that yet. If material is as soft as the black color, I will keep them both. Yeah, they are THAT good. Nice price point too. I tried the real leather in this but it is just too stiff for me, & not worth the extra cost (135.00) These are Great !!
