I received these a few days ago and when I tried them on I didn't want to take them off. I walked around the house, went up and down stairs a few times and it felt like walking on clouds! They look and feel great! They are really the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn, with the exception of a few of my Stuart Weitzman shoes. I had heel spurs after a foot injury a few years ago so I am really picky about my shoes being proper heel softness and comfort. These are my first Bernie Mevs and will definitely be ordering more.

Comfortable and stylish shoes. I've gotten many compliments. My 3rd pair of Bernie Mev shoes. Bought them all from Zappos. Best price around (even than Amazon- I'm an Amazon prime member)

Very comfortable even with my bunion. I usually wear an 8.5 to 9, so I ordered size 39 which I had to exchange for the 40. Zappos makes that so easy. I love Burnie Mev shoes.

I absolutely LOVE these shoes. I ordered them in a 41 which corresponds to a 10.5 I usually wear a 10. These shoes, however, are at least one FULL size too small. When I checked, the largest size on all of them is 41, which is about a 9 or 9.5 the way these shoes are running small. What a crying shame. I thought I had just found the ideal shoe to wear all day. Will have to return.

These shoes combine comfort and style. I got two pair, a red and a black and silver both in the same style. I love them and get many compliments on them.

I'm a new bernie mev fan. I bought the Mary Jane style and fell in love with the comfort, style and look of the shoe. Now that cooler weather is coming, I decided to order a shoe/bootie to wear with skirts and tights. I first ordered these in "Pewter" thinking the material was a flat grey. They turned out to be more of a metallic grey. The shoe was so amazing and stylish I just had to have them. I returned the Pewter and ordered the Black/Black Velvet color. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! What a cool pair of shoes. I normally wear a 7.5 and usually wear an 8 (38) in shoes that only come in whole sizes. The 38 was a perfect fit. The woven material has a slight give to it and the sole has a cushion feel without being squishy.

Love these shoes - only problem I had was that I was shipped two different sizes. I didn't notice this until I wore the shoes a couple of times. The one shoe did feel tight, but it took a couple days for me to even look at the size. I called Zappos and told them what happened and the next day I had a pair of matching size shoes at my doorstep. Since the shoes were mis-matched, I was told to keep them or donate them. LOVE the service as always and LOVE the shoes!

I absolutely love these shoes! They are both stylish and comfortable. I ordered the red in my normal size. These could be worn with jeans, leggings, jeggings, slacks, skirts, and dresses. A very versatile style. I plan to wear these with black leggings and a long, red sweater for a bold look. As some reviewers mentioned, the back of the shoe is wide, so I wear a pair of lightweight socks to make up for it since I have narrow heels. This "hack" works perfectly for me. I am 61, have bunions and hammer toes, and can comfortably wear these since the upper is made of a woven, stretchy material. I find them very forgiving on my feet. I doubt I could walk miles in these, but they are well-suited to a night out. Thanks Zappos for the great customer service and speedy shipping.

Love Bernie. But closed toes in this woven fabric are uncomfortable. This style is fabulous. I have it in the open-toe version and can't walk down the street without being stopped and asked about my shoes!

The style was great but they were too short, my toe hit the end. My foot would slip down because of the stretch of the material. I can’t stand having my toe hit the end of the shoe as I walk. They were comfortable but as I walked there wasn’t a lot of support. They would be OK for work but not a lot of walking.

This is my second pair of bernie mev shoes; as I found the first to be very comfortable. These are as well and I can wear them all day from the first day I had them on. I have a wide toe box and a narrow heel; these are loose in the back, but a heel support fixes that; most important for me is the width across the toe box. These shoes are a bit blingy; the color is not quite what I expected but definitely a keeper.

These are very comfortable and very good looking shoes. The only drawback for me is that they are too loose in the heel. I have added heel pads to help with the fit. I think that this may be related to my own foot shape: a person who does not have a narrow heel might not have this issue. Overall, a great shoe for work (and for play).

I was in the market for a "shootie" and wanted to love these in the worst way; really I did. The bronze color is gorgeous and the woven stretch fabric is very accommodating. Loved the higher heel and platform sole; because it's been a while since I wore heels, I thought these might work. Unfortunately, it wasn't meant to be. As I stepped forward, my foot also slid forward in the shoe...it really messed with my equilibrium (I know that sounds strange). Perhaps it's because I'm "top heavy" that they didn't feel right? My ankle actually turned while I was trying to walk in them. Usually I'm very coordinated, but just couldn't get the hang of walking gracefully in these.

Absolutely NO support in this shoe!

We are now June 2024, they are finally worn out...bought at Zappos dec 2017. I am a flight attendant, now only work international long haul flights. I have worn these shoes with my uniform since Dec 2017, 85% of the time. I also have Lulia and other Bernie Mev shoes that I wear the other 25%. I also have Chesca in red, we were allowed to wear red until a couple of years ago. I lost count on the number of compliments I have received. I love them, comfortable, washable and sexy. I am ordering a new pair today.

Extremely comfortable and looks great!

It is difficult to order shoes that are European in size. There are no half sizes in these that I could find. I settled for a 37 and usually they tend to run about 1/2 bit larger than expected. The other part is that this size is just a tad tight around the in-step. I have ordered other 37's and they worked fine. I'm not saying that I wouldn't order them again- overall - pleased with the product and they wear well-

Bernie Mevs are a great shoe brand - comfortable, long lasting, look great dressed up or casual

The fit is true to size. Great quality, good looking and very comfortable.
