My son always gets blisters playing soccer but these seemed to work very well for him.

Bought these for both sons this year - one plays QB on Varsity and the other is starting middle LB ("Mike") on JV. We have been seriously involved in football for years and years so we are pretty good at picking the best cleats. We have never, ever had both sons in the same cleats. What is great about this cleat: 1) it is a speed cleat - best for skill positions who need speed and cutting ability; 2) it has molded cleats, which makes it especially good if your player will be on turf at least some of the season (in addition to being the only type to consider for a speed player). Will probably hold up okay on grass as the cleats are pretty solid, but they may get clogged a bit in muddy conditions; 3) it is a mid height which protects ankles for speed players making quick cuts; and 4) the shoe portion (top) is made of a very light and flexible material which does not create comfort or movement issues when the player is bending at the forefoot to sprint. The older son said they are the most comfortable cleat he has ever worn. In my opinion, too, one of the best cleats ever (and both of my boys thought they wanted the CJ3s until they tried them on and saw all the flaws and the lack of comfort). Highly recommend as the best cleat for several years from Nike or any other brand.
