This is a very comfortable shoe! I love the wide toebox and natural foot shape of the shoe! My main disappointment with these shoes is that I'm having trouble running in them. I enjoyed running in the Torin 1.5 for at least a year, but found that the Torin 2.0 is significantly different. The Torin 2.0 seems lighter (which feels comfortable and cool). However, in my opinion, the upper of this shoe provides less support than that of the Torin 1.5. I've been getting aches and pains in my feet, ankles, and lower legs after running in the Torin 2.0's, and therefore have greatly reduced the amount that I run in them. I'm hoping that my body can gradually adapt to them with time. I would prefer a stiffer heel counter in this shoe and some overlays or something to provide more support at the midfoot.

Very comfortable shoe. Like walking on clouds. Only issue is my heel slips out of the back when I walk. I originally ordered a half size larger because I want to use these for running, but my heel really slipped in those. My heel stills slips in the smaller size, but not as bad.

These shoes are lighter weight than the other Altra models I have worn. They are also cut lower around the ankles. I do not think they will last very long. This is not my favorite pair. I kept them because I mow through shoes very quickly. I will buy another Altra style next time. Altras were recommended by my podiatrist and they are usually perfect.

I am not a fan! I used to wear the torn 1.5 and absolutely loved it. The 1.5 was my shoe, it fit perfectly took care of my knee and back pain and they got rid of the 1.5! the update is honestly terrible. It is very tight in the forefoot and tight everywhere else. The insole takes up a lot of room in the shoe and contributes to why it is so tight. The arch support is just gone and the shoe has been made narrower. I have very wide feet and typically spend weeks going places and trying one shoes to find one that is OKAY and I found the torn 1.5 when looking for shoes because i joined the track team. One day 2 of my search for shoes with my mom, the sales rep at the store brought out the torn 1.5. I tried it on and started crying in the store I was so happy that I found a shoe that fit so much better than the OKAY usual pairs. I DO NOT recommend the torin 2.0. I will be returning this shoe and will be going on another search of stores because this shoe was not even OKAY.

I loved the Torin 1.5 shoe so I tried these Torin 2.0 shoes. I'm not happy with them and they are going back. The 2.0 is just a little bit narrower in the forefoot than the Torin 1.5. I have wide feet and this made the Torin 2.0 too narrow for my comfort. It also seems to me that the insole is flatter and has less arch support. I want the Altra Torin 1.5's to come back.

these are absolutely the worst shoe I have ever purchased. There is zero arch support, the shoe is shaped weirdly. awful. tried them on 1 second and new immediately that they are going back.

These sneakers run small. I would recommend ordering a half to one full size larger. The width is great and the feel of the sneaker is awesome. I ordered these for my long runs on pavement.

The shape of the shoes is exactly what I need. Wide toe, narrow mid-foot and heel along with lots of cushioning and zero drop. My great toe metatarsal joint was broken years ago and due to the enlarged joint, I developed a neuroma. If that is not enough, my feet are extremely flexible. Slippers are about the only footwear that I can stand to have on for more than a couple of hours at a time. I was excited to find out about Altra shoes and the way they are built. I ordered the Torin 2.0 and the Provisioness 2.0. I normally wear a size 9 in other athletic shoes and found that size 9 in both of these shoes fit. When I stood up with the Torin on, the cushioning felt wonderful, however, my foot pronated so much that my arch was nearly on the floor. I then put on the Provisioness and, although it did not have as much cushioning, it felt really good and it held my foot upright. Needless to say, I sent the Torin back and kept the Provisioness. I do not run anymore, but I do walk my dogs often and for long distances. My foot has not hurt one bit since I started wearing this shoe.
