I really want Dansko to make a great athletic style sandals, and I hoped that these would be them. They are close, but the styling is clunky/chunky and the Velcro ankle strap felt too flimsy for the weight of the sandals. Also: the Velcro was not in the right place to firmly secure the shoes while walking. Sorry, but they had to go back. Keep trying, Dansko!

I love my Danskos! Sandals are such a nightmare to find that fit my arch and give the support I need and these have turned out to be perfect. The ankle strap allows me to walk freely without cramping my toes up to keep sandals on. Fun colors also - only wish there was one that was maybe all one color - for those times you need to be a little "dressier."

Comfy fit, great support, great look! I have wide feet and rarely find comfy sandals. Thanks to the adjustable, velcro straps and great arch support I have found a great sandal that is comfortable to wear all day. I ordered the grey/pink and love them enough to order another color.

Loved this shoe...but had to send back. Strap with velcro too short and would not stay closed. Comes undone when walking. Very thin velcro and then would not even close. If they ever fix it, would re-buy.

These sandals are the winners of a month long search for walking/athletic sandals that would work for my feet with plantar fasciitis/heel spurs. I tried everything before them... Keens (2 different styles), Chacos (men's and women's), Ecco, and Cobb Hill. None of them fit quite right, though I wanted all of them to. These seem to work great and I've spend an entire day in them with minimal foot discomfort afterwards. I thought I might have to live out the summer in my sneakers with custom orthotics, but these just may have saved me. I am forever grateful for Zappos and their amazing fee shipping/returns that gave me the chance to keep trying until I found what would work best for me! I wish they made these in a brown/tan color since I only saw black and grey and I feel like tan/brown matches more of my summer wardrobe better than grey. I should also note that I have wide feet, and while these don't come in "wide" width, they fit my feet perfectly!

Great fitting shoe. I found the velcro a good length for my feet, unlike others in their reviews. Wore these shoes the first day on a 8 hour day walking all over town, no blisters at all. The arch and support for my problematic feet is great. Would have given a 5 star on style if the toe part was a little thinner, but still it is not clunky looking on my clunky feet.

These are fantastic--comfortable for walking but not too granny or sporty. These remind me of old school Danskos, the fit is perfect, with enough width for my toes. I wish Dansko would apply whatever they used here to their other shoes. They can make a comfortable and cute shoe with artificial materials without it being cheap or uncomfortable if they try. If you have high arches, you will love these!

I love Dansko. They are often my go-to brand. I adore the way they fit, feel, and last. This is the first pair of Dansko I've ever had to return. The arches are very, very, very high on this shoe. Very high. Crazy high. Ow, ow, ow, high. If you have high arches, this is your sandal. If you don't, ow. In addition, the foot bed is a sort of textured hard rubber...which you'd think might feel kind of cool; but for me, it was like walking on thistle stems, not really painful, but annoying in a "get it off" sort of way. I really wanted to love this shoe, like I love all my other Dansko, but this shoe disappointed me. (Zappos, on the other hand...how much do they rock? Great customer service again.)

The ankle strap was too long so the velcro doesn't meet. I have normal size ankles so not sure what is going on...unless they are made for huge ankles or I got a defective pair? Have to return them.

these sandals are wonderful. I had to bring them to The Cobbler to put more Velcro on but I wish they would have a shoes similar to these with a soft toe I have problems with my toes and can't wear any of the hard toe shoes...I think the sandals are actually helping my arthritic knees it would be nice to have sandals like this but a little less clunky and dressier looking...

Beautiful color but I needed something a little more substantial in the toe area.

I love these sandals! The arch support is wonderful and the texture on the insole feels very good to my aging feet. I hope Dansko will also make this same style in black leather, as the light-colored edge of the sole will look a bit odd in winter months -- but to keep my feet this happy, I'll still be wearing these sandals!

I absolutely love these sandals. They have good arch support, which I need for my horribly flat feet. The adjustable straps are handy. They slip off and on well. I ordered my first pair last year, had to get a second one in a different color. I am a casual dresser, so they are perfect for me. I do not miss my orthotic insert I need in closed shoes with these sandals. They are very comfortable, even for long walks. I highly recommend them.

This is a fantastic sandal. So comfortable that I wore them for 5 days straight on my vacation and never did my feet get tired. I am going to buy another pair!!

Love this shoe. I have it in the black and blue. I've been having lots of issues with feet and knees but when I wear these, I'm just about pain free. They are easy to adjust and the arch is very supportive. My ortho suggested Dansko and I'm glad she did!

I have problem feet and found this shoe to be comfortable enough to wear all day. It has adjustable straps and easy closure. Good support and nice cushion in the foot bed. Great shoe!

I went over the reviews thoroughly for this shoe, decided to give it a try. Glad I did, I like them very much. The straps (unlike some reviewers) were fine for my feet, plenty long enough. Good support for my problematic feet; Heel spur and plantar fasciitis. The textured insole does not bother me and helps give my foot traction on the inside of the sandal. Can't wait to take them on a nice long walk!

Love these shoes. They have a great arch. Most sandals are so flat that I can't wear them. I wear orthotics and I don't need them with these as the arch support is excellent. The material is cushy and feels good with every step. Very comfortable. Even though they only come in medium width, the straps have enough room to adjust for a wide foot. The colors are great.

Let me start by saying that Zappos service is wonderful. My shoes were delivered 17 hours after I ordered them! I got the Navy with Aqua trim. They are really cute! I ordered size 39 and they fit my size 9 feet perfectly. Thee width fits my wide feet, and the straps near the toes are adjustable. I have high arches and need a good arch in my shoes and these are great. I would like to get a pair in the color mocha, but I don't like the orange trim. Dansko, could you please make the mocha with a more neutral color for the trim? It's not just me. I've read other reviews that don't care for the Orange. Maybe next year. These are so comfy, this is my second pair. They have great cushioning and support. Cute color makes up for the somewhat clunky design. Velcro closure is great as I have bunions, so I could adjust the width.

I discovered these sandals this summer. I usually cannot wear sandals much because they do not provide enough support for my pronating ankles. These sandals are the most comfortable ones I have found. They have good arch support.

I could go on and on about the foot problems that plague me, but I won't (okay, I have a very cranky accessory navicular and flat feet). In spite of having great custom orthotics, I have finally come to the conclusion Dansko shoes are really the only ones I can wear if I don't want to be hobbling. In fact, I am gradually replacing all of my shoes with Danskos. I needed a casual summer sandal for the beach and for knocking around. I was worried that these don't have the traditional clog bottom, which is all that I wear. They are a dream - right out of the box. I do realize that some people are having trouble with the straps. Although some reviewers found them to be flimsy or too short, I have a medium to narrow/low volume foot, and I don't find that to be the case. In fact, I can only wear sandals with adjustable straps, and these fit the bill. I hope you are as happy with these as I am.

I wore these sandals to a Giants game in S.F. - spent 3 hours in the sun, walked up and down a gazillion flights of stairs and a few city blocks. My feet were the only part of me that was comfortable the whole time. "Nuff said." (The Giants won.)

I'm really pleased with these shoes. They've got great support and the color is cute. I did wear for many hours on a highly active day and felt a little irratation from the pattern in the shoe bed, but that only happened the one time. I've worn them since and they were very comfortable.

Having a wide foot can be a problem but with these sandals, I put them on and went to the store---no problem. I will be buying another pair.
