I love this shoe! It is the first Dansko shoe I have bought, and I have never been more pleased with a purchase. It's very comfortable, and it looks good, it's versatile -- nice enough for casual office wear. Please keep making the Joannie, Dansko!

Absolutely love this sandal. Comfortable to walk in, straps adjust to fit my foot just right. Lots of complements. Flattering to my size 41 feet. Fun colors (I bought the blue) hope they offer these again next year.

I like these shoes very much. I wear them for part time retail job. I have bad feet and need good shoes with a good arch support and that are stable. These are both. They do have a tendency to pinch my little toes after 4 or 4 1/2 hours so I just wear a corn pad on my little toes and this solves the problem!

Just got these yesterday, and I was surprised by how cute they are and also how comfortable out of the box - no rubbing areas. I should be able to wear them all day without a problem!

These are incredibly comfortable shoes! The leather is soft I don't see blisters ever been a problem with the shoes. What islands on the straps are reinforced with metal which I really like.

Great comfort with a bit of flash in the leather. I love this shoe! Good for people with narrow heels but needing a wide vamp.

These were comfortable right out of the box. Love that it is adjustable. I have a very high arch and these were perfect. Walked three miles the first day. Terrific!

I recently ordered Dansko Joanie sandals in all three available colors: black, brown/black snakeskin, and orange. Not every one of those six shoes looked matched, or fit perfectly. I contacted Zappos and they happily corrected all problems. Along with the positive response to "make it right" on Zappos part, their customer service is friendly and embracing, they're open 24/7, seven days a week, and they offer a free delivery and return policy. How can it be any better!! I now love the three pairs of sandals I own, and wear them often. The only complaint I have about the sandals themselves is that I wish Dansko also offered more colors, specifically navy, deep green, and a red. As expensive as they are a pair, I'd also buy those three as well and just wear them for years to come. I highly recommend Zappos as a company which supports it's customers, and Dansko as a product line.

The Joanie is so comfy and has a good heel height for a short person like me. The reviews were true: the shoe is very comfortable and fits in with my many other Dansko clogs and sandals, especially the Lolitas of many years ago. I have about eight pairs of Lolitas in so many different colors, especially some that I have hand-dyed to match certain outfits. Due to having feet problems, I began wearing Dansko shoes about 15 years ago. The brand is very sturdy and holds up to the many blocks for shopping in malls and walking with friends for a workday lunch. Joanie is a keeper!

These were comfortable right out of the box, lovely soft leather and adjustable at ankle and forefoot. They also look cute, and quite dressy, especially in the bright colors, and are very easy to walk in. I have been vacationing in London and Rome and find them great for walking around in and being out on the town. Great arch support.

This is a super comfy shoe which can work with lots of different attire. It is even sort of dressy. I have "problem" feet and it is a relief to find shoes which appear to be in style and still work for me. Unfortunately I have just realized that I need a size 35 in Dansko and not 36. This is very distressing because size 35 options are very limited.

Very comfortable and with great arch support. I'm super-particular about shoes fitting 100% out of the box and these did. Most of my shoes are Dansko, but lately their products don't fit like they used to, but not these. And...they have a funky (but not clunky) edge to them. I'm very pleased!

I am pregnant and experiencing a lot of pain in my arches. These sandals have saved me! I can walk around in them all day and my feet feel great. They're also really cute which is a definite bonus.

These sandals are PHENOMENAL. They are very comfortable. I walk a mile in them each day to the bus stop and back. And even though they have heels, this is not an issue. They are also adorable. You generally cannot get both comfortable and adorable in the same shoe.

I'm a long time Dansko wearer, and just love these sandals. Last pair I bought was about 10 years ago, and I wore them while walking all over France when they were brand new. Perfect. My old pair are now relegated to camping trips, as they're beaten up but still wearable. Was in the market for a new pair, and when I saw these in a shop, I just had to have them, but my size wasn't available in the orange. Called Zappos from the road while on vacation, and they delivered them to my hotel. I LOVE them. Great color, as comfy as all get out, and Dansko is employee owned. Can you get better than that?

I am a huge Dansko fan, and have worn them for years. This pair of Joanies is excellent, comfortable (as Danskos always are), and more stylish with its snake skin like leather and cute cut. I thought seriously about getting the orange ones, just for fun. Maybe another pair...

Perfect for me! I have a wide toe-spread, so frequently find "normal" shoes too tight in the toes, but if I get "wide" shoes, they're too wide at the heel. These are great. Completely comfortable.

I love these shoes. They're super comfortable and cute. I have been experiencing sciatic nerve pain lately and need to be mindful of which shoes I wear. Fortunately, these shoes create a solid foundation and provide excellent support. Maybe I should buy another pair.

I read in the reviews that this shoe needed more style, I don't agree. It is adorable. Fits and feels as wonderful as every other Dansko shoe I have. At my age and in need of comfort and safety and desiring style too, I would not buy any another brand of shoe but Dansko. This shoe is safe, comfortable, fits perfect and grabs favorable attention whenever I wear them. I LOVE Dansko Joanie. thank you Dansko. I just wish you made shoes to work outside.

These are so comfortable and stylish. Best of all, they don't aggravate my arthritic feet. The fit is perfect, and I'm very pleased.

So comfortable. Love these. I have metatarsalgia and I feel no pain with these shoes. Perfect height. Some height without being stilts. Truly worth the price. Can be dressed up or down.

These are every bit as comfortable as the professional style dansko, which I am accustomed to wearing nearly everyday. I wanted some sandals to go on a touring trip of Italy and picked these for the occasion. I have been wearing them around to make sure the straps don't rub anywhere, and they don't. I even wore them salsa dancing last night. I will probably only pack these and one other pair of shoes for my trip- so glad they work out. They will go with everything I'm packing. Very pleased. One thing I do hate on all light colored footbeds is seeing the imprint of my foot, which happened on these after the first wear. I'm not sure that it's avoidable unless you only wear dark shoes.

I love these shoes! I have two colors and I bought an extra black pair for when these wear out. I have narrow, problem feet. I wear these all day walking at work and they never hurt me. Plus, they are super cute! I wear them with everything and I don't feel like I am wearing orthopedic shoes. Great arch support.
