Feels comfortable. Not a lot of squish, but the support of the shoe is pretty good. I'm on my feet all day, so after a day or two of wearing them, I'll come back and give more info, but for now they seem good. And I really like to color and style and that they give a tiny bit of lift to my heels.

I am always a size 9 or 40 in Ecco, Gabor, Josef Seibel, but the 9/40 in the Surfa was huge on me. I reordered the size 8/39 and they were perfect. Love the brown color. In the right size they are super comfortable.

I bought the bigger size because the shoes don't come in 10.5. But they fit perfectly. I like the style and the comfort. Will buy more FitFlops.

I have been a loyal Fit Flops customer for many years. While I agree with other reviews that the current sandals aren't quite as nice as the older versions, I still love my Fit Flops. I am writing this review after many months because of a recent problem that I think is specific to me and my feet. It appears that I have developed an allergic reaction to the shoes. At first I thought I had exposed the shoes to some chemical agent that was causing the problem. I thoroughly washed those fit flops. When the problem persisted, I threw that pair away and converted my "new" pair to my default fit flop. That caused the same reaction -- intense itching and burning that is unbearable!! Yesterday, I wore tennis shoes instead and had the same reaction, though not nearly as severe. I have since defaulted to my Birkenstock sandals (cork foot base) and currently have no problems. Has anyone else had a similar reaction? Were you able to determine what was causing the allergic reaction? I'm going to schedule an appointment with a dermatologist. Meanwhile, reaching to my Zappos friends and family for any words of advice.

I love wearing them and they fit well. Bought a second pair so I have one for home and one for outdoors. Better than regular flip-flops.

Definitely the original Fit Flop foot bed. Love these. Feel just like my 20 year old clogs and boots. Well made in spite of some of the reviews that I saw. Mine are well constructed and will buy another pair.

From the moment I put them on they felt terrific. I’m a true 11, wear 11.5 in running shoes for extra room. But I was so happy these fit! I struggle to find shoes that fit my long foot!

I need a wider fit so by reading the reviews FitFlops are often medium/wider width. These are perfect for wearing around the house. I like them because they have a higher heel than most fit flops. I also bought a pair for my daughter who also tends to need a wider fit. She loves them too.

The fit was perfect because I read the reviews and ordered a 6 my size is 7.

this is my first pair of fitflops and I love them! the cushion in the sole is exceptional. I would definitely buy again maybe with a leather upper for work.

I've been wearing these sandals for at least 10 years... and love them just as much today as I did when I started! I received them on Friday (6/25), put them on immediately, and have been wearing them ever since! They're so comfortable! They are my go to 'shoes'... I live in warmer weather, so I can wear them year 'round. If it cools down, I have tow socks to wear with them LOL!!! I love the red soles on these!!! I always receive compliments when I wear any of the many I have!!! Thank You Zappos!!!

comfortable straight out of the box

This is a Fit Flop that I've been waiting for.... I have worn Fit flops for about 17 years and they seem to have gradually changed to be a wider sandal. I have a normal width foot but is slightly thin and most of the styles for the past 12 years have been too wide... that said, this one with the fabric strap fits !! this great grandmother is very happy. Thanks for making another style I can wear...my old ones are worn out. Hope Fit flop will take not of this as I am not the only person with this need.
