Just wanted to chime in on the sizing thing. I'm a 9.5-10 US and 41 Euro. Wear a 41 in Dansko Professional Oiled Leather and found that 41 was the right size in these as well. Had I ordered down as some have recommended I don't believe that the instep would have fit as well.

I love the look of these clogs & wanted shoes that were attractive as well as functional for work & these seemed to fit the bill. Danskos are favorites of mine but I was unsure of what size to order after reading the reviews. I usually take a 39 but ordered the 38s since reviewers consistently said that these ran large. The 38s were too small with the heel, at the top around the ankle, running wide. I exchanged them for my usual 39s and they work well enough. The heels (at the top) are still wide, but do conform to a Dansko clog fit. If Dansko would taper the back, from the heel to the ankle, they would be perfect.

I really like the style of these shoes but they are not as comfortable as my other Danskos so this is a little disappointing. These shoes run a little large. I typically take a 38 but based upon the reviews, I bought a 37 and am glad that I did! I think the 38 would have been too big.

It's so hard to find clogs that are cute, so these were love at first sight. These shoes are spectacular and so comfortable if you're going to be standing around for long periods of time (i.e. clinic, kitchen, etc.), but I personally don't feel they are fit for too much walking in (i.e. amusement park, department store, etc.). The top of the shoes are very stiff, so if I walk around in them too much, they irritate the bone at the top of my feet enough to cause bruising. All this to say that I love the look and the fit, and wear them around my office all the time or whenever I won't be walking around too much.

I love the look of these shoes -- they weren't too wide or too long as was reported in other reviews. These are, however, the first Danskos I have had to 'break in'. Now that they are broken in they are great.

This shoe is to cute but like the other reviews, it's to wide, I was walking right out of the shoe, literally. Bought a size smaller then my usual size and still the width was to wide, foot wouldn't stay in shoe. To be exact, the excess room is in the heel and mid foot, not the ball and toe area. If the shoe could be revamped, I'd buy it.

Bummed! I'm a 7 1/2 ordered the 38 to big! went down a size 37 and still to wide. So returned.

Dansko clogs just do not work for me. The size 38 is always too big, and the 37 is just too small! They are lovely looking shoes, and I could tell that they would be comfortable, but alas they did not work for me!

I love the look of this shoe, but it doesn't fit my "duck" feet well -- I need lots of room in the toe but not a wide heel. I ordered the 37, which was way too tight, but good in length. The 38 was still tight across the toes, but the length was so long I couldn't keep it on comfortably But I have loved other Dansko lines -- including a line they no longer make -- and thanks to Zappos' terrific return policy, will keep trying.

So cute but within a few hours of wearing them they rubbed the skin off of the side of my pinky toe on my left foot. When I went to have them stretched they said it wouldn't help because the shoes fit everywhere except where around the width of my toes, probably due to the fact they used a new shoe bed that (I found out the hard way) is extremely narrow. Determined to make them work though because they are really adorable!

If you have a narrow/regular foot, these will feel loose in the heel if you order your usual size. I ordered size 41(10.5/11) and while the front feels great the back is slipping. They are so beautiful I am tempted to keep them as is, but I am going to try a size down from my usual.

They are beautiful and nearly perfect if they weren't so "boat-like" in width. Normally, the Dansko is a reliable fit for me. These are so nice but this style is just cut too wide for me.

Really loved the look of the snakeskin shoe and I ordered by regular size 40, but way too big. At least a full size. Was afraid to try the 39, so still looking.

I always wear 39 in Danskos. Although this shoe is very cute, it was too large and too wide. I didn't exchange it for the 38 as another reviewer indicated that the smaller shoe was still too wide. Too bad.

Dansko, what happened to your sizing? My wife has used the professional models for many years. They are the best shoe for a job requiring you to stand for long periods. For Christmas I purchased a new pair of the Pavan style. In Zappos fashion they did not let me down arriving just in time to be wrapped and place under the tree. Unfortunately when she tried them on Christmas morning they did not fit. We double checked the size with her old pair and thought maybe it was just that particular style. So we sent them back and ordered the Marisol style. As I had just put the phone down doing the return and exchange, the wife began read the reviews of other customers with regards to sizing issues. We had high hopes this pair would work but to our disappointment experienced the same problem.

I absolutely love the look of these shoes! However, I have ordered two different sizes and my heel still slips out the back. Unfortunately, I cannot make these shoes work for me and I will have to return them. I wish Dansko made more youthful looking shoes like this.

I have to agree with all of the other reviews. These shoes fit a bit oddly. They are super tight along the top of your feet and then are huge along the heel. Makes for a lot of tension on the top of your feet. For a shoe that isn't that cute anyway, it should feel great. I would steer clear of this shoe unless you have huge heels.

Very disappointed with the fit of these. loved the look , but the size was way too big (heel flipping out the back - even though i took a chance and went down a size on these - but they were still too big!

These shoes are super cute, but fit really funky. Where they turn the corner on the top of my foot digs in, and the heel is very wide, much wider than a Dansko clog, they are also quite long. I wish they fit, but it is a no go for me.

Very poor sizing! I have many pair of Dansko shoes and this pair will not stay on my feet...way too large in the heel. Cute, but returning.

Maybe with all of our reviews, Dansko will re-release this shoe. I wear Dansko regularly, they're typically true to size, I wear a size 36. I have a somewhat wide foot, so this shoe was great in that aspect. The disappointing part, is they were a size too large. Even with their conversion as size 36, being 5.5-6, this shoe was way off. Since the company doesn't offer any size smaller, which I would have exchanged for, these will be returned. I could tell that the leather would need a break in time, but they are new. Also, the soles don't have a rubber bottom, but maybe with this type of sole you won't slip? Maybe someone else can comment on that. Regardless, I'll still buy from Dansko!

These shoes look so cute! I really wanted to love them but the foot was so wide I was literally walking out of the shoe. This show is sized improperly. It would be nice if Zappos had the next size down in stock but unfortunately they don't. So sad.

I am not sure what is up with the new Dansko's this year, but the sizing is way off. I have worn Dansko exclusively for many years, and always wear a size 40. The size 40 in these were way too big. I have moderately wide feet and these were very wide in the mid foot and heel. I am used to the Dansko fit being big since I normally wear professionals but I couldn't keep these on. Downsizing didn't help. I also have a pair of the new Pavans and they are bigger than normal but manageable with thick socks. The width on the Marisol is so far off that socks won't help. So sad...they are really cute.

Only buy these if the heel of your foot is really, really wide. I have been wearing Danskos for years. I have never seen such a WIDE heel bed ever in a Dansko product. These clearly were measured incorrectly before manufacturing. Which is my biggest issue with Dankso these days - poor specifications that are then made into ill-fitting shoes. :(

Love the shoe. Always get size 40 in Dansko, these were way too big. My foot came right out. Sizing is way off. Sorry because I really liked them and they were very dressy not the same old clog. Too bad.
