This is my second pair. I've had a black pair for more than two years and still look good. When I read it was discontinued I had to get another pair.

Husband’s first Birkenstock’s. He loves these shoes

I like them and they are nice to wear. Very confortable, when you go and go somethere. I would like to own another pair sometime in future!!!!!!!

On advice of other reviewers I got this shoe one European size smaller than I normally do in regular birkenstock i.e. 42 rather than 43, and that produced a perfect fit for me. These are very light but cushiony and great for summer wear as they can be washed to avoid smelling.

Perfect. Bought these for my husband after loving mine so much and he loves them! The versatility of being able to do anything in them and simply shower in them to clean- so easy.

Got these for my dad. He loves them, thinks they fit pretty true to his foot. While they don't have the support of the other types of birkenstocks, they're perfect for outside activities around the house. The best thing is, you can easily clean them. Would probably buy again.

What can one say about Birkenstocks that we don't already know: Great style, great quality, great fit. I initially ordered the sandles in "Anthracite". Oddly enough, the photo for the Anthracite colored sandles on both Zappos and Birkenstocks' website looks like it is a black and white picture. I would say it appears to be something of a gray/black color on the website. I got the Anthracite colored sandles and I would describe the color as silver like The Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz. Maybe the Tin Man wore Birkenstocks off stage. I never heard that before but I'm starting that rumor right now. Returned the Anthracite/Tin Man colored sandles for black and couldn't be happier.

Got these as my work from home shoes ---- they are perfect

I bought these for my fiancé and he loves them! He is always a size 12, but I followed other reviewers advice on sizing down a full size and it worked out perfect! He’s planning on using these for all of our kayak adventures. Great purchase, and still fast shipping despite the current chaotic conditions.

Silly fun. I wish I'd gotten some of last year's bright colors, like orange and blue. But I'm loving the yellow!

This shoe is an absolute home run. I have not had a pair of Birkenstocks for probably 15 or more years, so I can’t say how this compares to the leather shoes. I have terrible plantar fasciitis, and these shoes have helped me so much. They are very light and easy to clean. Other reviewers complained about the size, but it was right on for me. I always wear 11.5 in shoes, and the 11-11.5 fits perfectly. They seem like they won’t be super durable, but time will tell. Plus, for $45, they are easily replaceable! Zappos, as always, is awesome.

I have multiple of these and they always rip at the front of the first strap (the part closest to the tip of the toe) but I continue buying them because they are so incredibly comfortable. I wear them endlessly so it i totally worth it!!

Second pair.

The fit was great, I’m normally a size 13 and I read the reviews and am so happy I went with the 45. They are a perfect house/chore/spring/summer shoe. So versatile, so light, so comfortable.

I haven't really worn Birks since college, but in the last few years I have been having foot pain for a variety of reasons and a pretty serious injury. I bought these for the summer because they are waterproof so they are perfect for the lake. My foot pain is gone! I think I may be wearing Birks all day everyday for the rest of my life. I'm so glad I rediscovered these.

Always my favorite Birk style. Very comfy and durable. Vegan materials. I usually make a pair last about 2 years.

This is my third pair. I have one for swimming in blue, one in black for outside, and one in the marigold for inside. I had a death in the family just before the virus hit, and when I put on this color I take it as a reminder to choose to appreciate everything good in being alive. Comfortable and better arch support than my first two pairs.

I love these! I have had a pair of leather Berks for over a year and they are still going strong. I got these for strictly indoor use and have been extremely happy with them. Great price, groovy looking (I got the green), and best of all, unlike the leather ones, there was zero “breaking in” time. Just adjust the straps, slip em on, and you’re done. I got the exact same size as my leather - the next size down from the Zappos-recommended size.

Even though they are made with EVA, the sandals are as comfortable as my older pair of Birkenstock made from cork and leather. I bought it originally as a second pair for going to the beach. They are so comfortable that I now wear them almost everywhere.

Fit is great, can walk in these all day long.

For what it is worth, the sizing was consistent when compared to my traditional leather Birk Arizonas. I wear a 42 in those and the 42's I ordered in EVA were true to size. They were also identical when the soles were placed next to each other. I will also add that the EVA does get a bit 'sticky' when my feet sweat on hot/humid summer days (doesn't annoy me though). However, my feet will also promptly sweat in my traditional Birks so I am pleased that I can readily clean these off with water at the end of the day.

I must admit I had reserves before ordering these . It’s the whole plastic vs leather deal. You know but, I got them and was overwhelmed by the comfort ness , lightness as well as the durable feel. These are the real deal. Birks without the leather. Have not had them long enough to say if they last as long as my leather ones did but still, for $40, you can’t go wrong . Birks have a winner here guys/girls for sure!

My husband usually wears a size 13, but these Birkenstocks and 12 to 12 1/2 fit perfectly.
