A great backpack for Philmont Scout reservation in New Mexico for a 14 year old. Very lightweight and adjustable. Plus, it has a built in raincover. My son is still hiking with it at 16 years old and loves it.

This pack comes with nice features adequate for a general camping trip. Any children and adults with smaller frame would find this pack fit them. The pack is comfortable as long as you keep the load under 10-12 kg. Any load heavier than that the pack would buckle and doesn't transfer the weight to the hip belt as well as it should.
My bottom line is "Do not buy this pack." Osprey offers other models that are much better, Atmos, Rook and Exos, just to name a few.

It's was full loaded, I tried to adjust the balance strap and the waist belt just broke.
