I really liked the look of this shoe but just did not fit my foot. I felt wobbly

Yes, I have a wide forefoot, AND big bunions.... even after my the surgery. I've never been able to wear cute, beautiful, sexy shoes because what makes them that way is what causes me a LOT of pain. But normally a flat or low heel wide width shoe will accommodate my messed up feet without causing too much pain. (For some reason the only shoes I can tolerate are never very attractive.) Unfortunately these don't even come close to accommodating my feet. :-( They won't even slide in/forward enough to where my heel is not hanging a little off the back of the shoe. That results in my little toe not being able to fit along side the others, and my forefoot is squishing out and over both the inside and outside of the shoe. My bunions might as well be waving a red flag that says "Look at me!" (& they ARE red after this ordeal.) So sad because these are VERY cute sandals! I wish there was such a thing as a foot transplant so I could wear cute, beautiful and sexy shoes like the majority of women can.

I purchased this shoe in pewter a few years ago and absolutely love it! Very cute and very comfortable. When I saw the great price on the black/grey, I decided to buy it. However, this new shoe does not seem to be the same quality. The leather seemed more stiff and the jeweled t-strap on one of the shoes was not centered properly. Maybe it was just an off pair. So sad to return them.

Loved the same shoe in pewter but the black fit differently. The gray on the shoe was unexpected and gave it too casual a look for my purposes. I had to return it.

Cute shoe. They were a half size too short and the arch was a little higher than I need. I returned them.

When I first put these shoes on, I loved them .. the fit seemed fine, the cushion in the sole and the arch support felt great, the style was what I wanted, and I thought all was good. The problem was that after an hour or so of wear, I realized that the beading and glue at the top of the right shoe was driving into my middle toe and causing a big welt and considerable discomfort. We all want shoes that are sharp, but not in this sense of the word. I will try a size larger, but not sure if that will be better. I just have difficult feet.

These are beautiful sandals that are comfortable but I am returning them because the right shoe is very stretched out. This order contained two items and both came damaged. :(

The fit was bad. There was no stability to the leather straps and they felt like they were already stretched out. My foot slipped all over. Also the color I ordered was much lighter than what I saw in photos. I was so disappointed.

I put the shoe on and loved it, but then noticed that some of the straps are very loose. If I keep them, I will have to take them to a shoe repair place to have them shortened. I don't know if it's just my feet, but it seems like these particular straps are for a regular width foot, and not narrow.

Wanted to like these so badly. The medium size foot bed was too narrow and straps were too tight. I tried the wide size with even less luck. The foot bed was a better fit but the straps were very baggy, especially the back straps. Pretty shoe but the strap design made it flimsy feeling on my feet.

I ordered this sandal because I liked the look and it came in a narrow width. When I tried it on the length was fine but it certainly did NOT feel like a narrow. I am returning. Was very disappointed.

I ordered the Pewter and they are fairly comfortable but wide. The straps seemed soft enough that I figured if they do rub they won't bother me. There is too much space between the strap and my foot but decided to keep them . I haven't worn them because it is winter and too cold. I then ordered the black in the same style. The black sandal is much larger than the pewter sandal, both in lenght and width. I also didn't notice when I ordered that the straps on the black sandal alternate between gray and black. I will return them and see if I can ordered in a half size smaller.

I wanted these too fit because they are too cute. They are too narrow! I wear a 9.5W, the site recommend a 10W but the shoe is narrow. Having to return them.

Returned the black sandal, as I didn't care for the multi color feature. However, this is a great sandal and I love it in the Sand color and wearing it often. It is comfortable and looks great.

I desperately want these sandals! I have ordered them twice and sent them back twice. The first time I ordered an 8 M but they were tight and felt short. I let a year go by and then about a month ago ordered them in an 8.5 M because WOW they were on sale but were too loose and a bit longer! I think there must have been a redesign of some sort in that year because that much difference in a half size isn’t common. I was going to reorder in an 8 but now they’re not on sale ahhhhhhhh! These sandals are super, super cute but I don’t know if they are really meant to be mine.

I bought them in a narrow but unfortunately the way the shoe was made the straps across the footbed were still loose and my foot slipped to far forward. Back they go.

These are cute, but a little matronly. They fit more like a B+ C- in width, rather than a D, and almost a half size smaller. The left shoe was a half size smaller than the right and they appeared to have been previously returned.

Too casual for me. But, probably a great walk around summer sandal

Very cute shoe, but the straps just didn’t feel quite right to me. It felt like my foot was slipping around.

I really liked these sandals, but they were definitely too wide for my narrow feet. I've never had this problem with Cobb Hill before. In short if you are a narrow size, you might want to think about getting a different shoe!

Love the look of these shoes...really wish they had worked. Have an narrow foot and ordered the same but once I received the elastic at the straps was not tight. Had to send back since shoe looked and felt too wide for me.

Straps were incorrect sizing for shoe - poorly made - disappointing.

Too wide and the embellishments were not very attractive.

Loved them when I put them on - sole is super comfortable. I don't have narrow feet, and the normal width felt fine. But the first time I wore them the ankle strap cut me to shreds. I think the strap is just a little wide so it catches and drags across the back of the ankle. Can't wear them again.

Great looking shoe but still can't get the perfect fit. I was hopeful from other posts noting that the straps had been made a bit smaller than previous styles. But for someone like me who not only has narrow feet but very "bony" feet, there is still space between the straps and my foot. The adjustable strap keeps them on my feet but I worry about rolling an ankle between the looser top straps and narrow heel. Love the great arch support from this collection but I also feel that Rockports run a bit shorter than most other brands so you might take that into consideration when sizing.
