These are undoubtedly the best sandals that I have worn. Not only are they comfortable, but are great for hiking and anytime a simple comfortable shoe is needed. The wear on the leather has been fantastic. The soles are extremely durable and only after 4 yrs of use, and much walking on asphalt roads, have the soles worn needing replaced.
I plan to buy a new pair exactly the same.

Great sandal (for the beach or water environment (wave pool etc.) I was looking for a sandal that I could walk around in. This shoe didn't offer me enough support for that purpose!

This is a pretty nice pair of sandals, not perfect but very close to being great. I was looking for a set of sandals that can be worn in an urban environment as well as outdoors, so I was drawn to the sleeker look and the leather straps versus the chunkier, "hiker" look of the Rialto and Newport.
I usually wear an 11 and an 11.5 in a narrower shoe (Chuck Taylors, for example) so I tried both sizes in this shoe and a comparable Newport. The size 11 Newport fit perfectly. In comparison, the size 11 Clearwater CNX feels like a "barefoot" shoe. It has less padding so is much more lightweight, the "sandal" sides are much sleeker, and it's a snug fit all-around—the footbed seems molded to my actual footprint. I wouldn't say it was tight as much as I would say "very exact." The 11.5 seemed a touch too big at first, but after a few steps my foot seemed to mold to the right places and I went with this one.
Pros: The shoe performs well in the water, it's nicely ventilated on hot days, and although I wouldn't call it stylish, it's more stylish than the chunkier Keens out there. It's a touch less "dad," so to speak. (But just a touch!)
Cons: The excess bungee, the bright yellow "Keen" badge, the "waterproof" label, the reflective stripes, the exclamation point on the toe cap—all are tacky editions to what could otherwise be a stealthy urban sandal. The shoes are waterproof but don't dry quickly. The thread seams inside are a little scratchy at first. The bottoms of my feet remain sweaty, more so than when wearing socks with a breathable athletic shoe.
All in all I like them; they're a first foray into sandals for me and if they hold up for a few years I'll be a convert.

First off, I love Keen footwear. For the last 3 years (since breaking my foot), Keens have been my primary shoe for all occasions. I even wear them when I am sporting a business suit. They are that comfortable. The Clearwater sandal is my 6th pair of Keens, and I plan to use them when knocking around town, going to the beach, and even when on my SUP. The sandals are very light and comfortable, although my little toes do tend to slip outside the strap. I have very high arches, and the Keen sandal provides good (albeit not great) arch support. On the downside, the lace could be a bit longer. All in all, I love the sandal and hope that it holds up to the vigorous use to which I fully intend to put it.

Nothing like the old Keens we bought my husband 7-8 years ago. Narrow, flimsy, poor cushioning on bottom. Returning. Very disappointed in quality.
