This is my third pair of Uneek shoes. If you have bunions or hammertoe,they do not bother them. Because they have a side give,they are extremely comfortable on your feet. I have gotten two other people to buy them. They are the best closed in shoe in the world!!!

This is my second pair. My first pair is still wearable but in a different color, grey and white. I love this new fig color. I followed reviews and ordered 1/2 size larger and this works for me. These shoes are great for traveling, walking to the baseball game or walking the dog. I feel comfortable wearing these with skirts and dresses too.

LOVE LOVE LOVE these shoes!!! They are incredibly comfy and I was able to wear mine right out of the box for a full day without having any problems at all. I usually wear a 7 1/2 in Keen in general but because of all the reviews about running small I ordered an 8 and they fit perfectly. I got the Vapor/Chartreuse and they pretty much go with everything. More neutral than I would have thought. Also great traction in the water. I wear them right in the lake. The one thing that might bother someone is the fact that if you are walking on a gravel path or a trail, the little stones and dirt wind up inside the shoes. Comes out pretty easily but might bother someone to have to keep stopping and tapping the stuff out of them. Overall I would DEF recommend them!!!

I really liked these sandals. They are so lightweight and airy. I know alot of people say the style is not appealing, but I think they are adorable on! The back strap around your heel is not adjustable or really stretchy so it might be a bit of pull to get them on, but other than that these are so comfortable! The paracord really has a lot of give to it and forms perfectly to every part of your foot. The shoe lace expands and tightens with just a pull. The aqua color is gorgeous!

My usual size is a 9 or 9 1/2, I ordered the size 9 1/2. When I tried them on my toe was at the end of the sandal and rubbed on the top also. Since the sandal was nice otherwise I returned the 9 1/2 and ordered size 10 1/2. These are a perfect fit and very comfortable. I like the lacing, it can be left loose for a slip on sandal or tightened for a snug fit. I'm considering purchasing another color.

I ordered a half size up due to reviews, but I don't think I really needed to. Nevertheless, they are fabulously comfortable and will be my go to for the summer. They do kind of make your foot look big! But not an issue.

Almost all of my shoes are a size 9 or 9 1/2 medium. I ordered size 9 1/2 and my toe was at the end of the sandal. I'm returning them and have ordered size 10 1/2 which I think will fit me fine. The aqua color is gorgeous and the sandal has a nice arch and great support. As usual, Zappos is great, very easy to return items and 1 day delivery! Looking forward to receiving my sandals!

Very cute and serviceable but for me they made my feet too hot. So for that reason they will go back. These have a better arch support than the same shoe with the back on. If you don't have problem feet they are great!!!

I am usually an 8 1/2, but a 9 fits me in these. I get many compliments on these shoes. They are a good fusion of function and style. I have 3 pair in different colors. I walked all over Europe in them and my feet were grateful. My only issues with them is they are hard to find in my size and color. Seems to be out of stock a lot. Also, if you walk on playgrounds or other rocky terrain, the smaller rocks tend to get in them and you need to shake them out or remove the shoe to shake. It's a minor thing and I still wear them everywhere.

I am very happy with this shoe. I recently broke my right pinky toe and needed to wear shoes or sneakers to keep it covered and protected. Sadly (or happily) the weather is finally getting warmer and my feet were pretty hot in totally enclosed shoes. These offered a good solution. I like the looks of them, and the air flow is great while my toes are still protected. The fit is secure with decent arch support. They seem to be fairly good walking shoes as well, though I haven't walked long distances yet - still a little painful. I highly recommend these shoes.

These have been my go-to summer shoes. I can walk in them nearly forever. I have an unusually small foot (now up to a size 5) with an unusually high arch and instep, which makes it quite difficult to find shoes that fit properly and comfortably. The color (cornstalk/mimosa) is a perfect summer neutral, and the construction keeps my feet cool while covering my toes nicely. (I do not wear open toes.) I get lots of compliments when I wear these sandals.

very cute and comfy, but I wear a 10.5 and they made my feet look sooooooo huge ! If you wear a 9 or below, they would be perfect for you.

These are just the coolest shoes! Ugly but so, so cute ! I wear a 10, but the 10.5 is much better in this shoe. I am going to wear them in the house for a day or so to make sure the braides don't rub on my big toe. The whitecap/cornstock is really a great color to wear with any of my white/tan skorts or white/tan pants. I think this shoe is going to get a lot of comments. I might even have to get a colored pair to wear for gardening !

Great look and dries easily. Buy up a size.

I love these shoes! I have flat, overpronated feet and have trouble finding shoes other than sneakers. These look really nice and are pretty comfortable. I get compliments every time I wear them. I'm ordering another pair, just in case they stop making these!

I was really excited when I got these. I have a very narrow foot and the elasticity and toggle lacing worked really well in forming it to my foot! BUT after wearing the shoes for a couple of hours my big toe joint (I do not have bunions) became very painful. I tried several times thinking it would resolve, but the problem continued! I can't were these shoes!!

I love these shoes. They fit closely and comfortably without rubbing or chafing. They're not beautiful but they're still kinda cool in a funky way. I can wear them all day long and when they come off I don't feel happy in the way I do when less wonderful shoes come off. I feel sure footed and grounded wearing these. This is my second pair. I'll buy them again. These are my favorite shoes.

this was hard to decide on what size because back strap is pretty tight/hard on my heel. I love this shoe. Its so weird that It's good looking and very comfortable once you get correct size. Bought in 2 colors.

I have had multiple surgeries on both feet and toes. My left foot is half a size smaller than the right. Thus, shoes are a challenge. These shoes work with my orthotics. They are light, comfortable and let the air in to keep my feet cool in the hot, hot Arizona weather.

Love the funky look which always produces curious looks from others! Comfort is good but not great for extensive durations. Swell!

Love these. Got 2 colors

I needed a new pair of Keen sandals & saw the great reviews on these. I ordered 1/2 size larger after reading reviews & they are perfect! I love everything about these sandals! I have issues with my feet & these were comfortable from the moment I put them on. They are very light weight & airy. After my endorsement my husband & mother in law each ordered a pair for themselves. They too order up 1/2 size and love them as well. I might just need another color!

These are great! Very comfortable walking sandals. Super light weight and good for travel. I love them!

Too small, need 1/2 size larger

If Huaraches and docksides had a baby, I think this is what it would grow up to look like. I've been wanting a pair of summer sandal/shoes that will take me for long walks without hurting me or building up summer heat. Something that has some support, but in which socks are not needed and which have lots of air passing through. Most sandals just don't have enough [toe] protection and most sneakers make my feet too hot. These looked like they might be a good solution, and they are but it took a bit for me to find the right size. Normally an 8.5 or a 9 at most, I needed these in a 9.5. The 9 fit, but I could tell that the "macrame" was going to be a problem for my big toe after a while. I've never worn a 9.5 in any shoe but decided to give them a try. Perfect. They're airy and comfortable. No more sweaty summer feet for me. Here's what everyone wants to know.... Yesterday was my first day in these and I had a little rubbing away of skin on my middle toe (one foot only). I put a bandaid on and today decided to throw caution to the wind as I took a walk for an hour or so just to see how they felt. I figured an hour wasn't long enough to make me miserable if they were really uncomfortable but it was long enough to give these a good enough work out. So far so good. I was very very comfortable in them and absolutely no more skin rubbed off. The footbed feels very natural. I will update this review if anything changes. Now as for whether these are cute or ugly? I guess it's a little bit of both. I've decided to call these cute. You might have different ideas. They really do remind me of the progeny from a huarache and docksider union. I purchased my first pair in both the yellow and the bright blue. The blue was a bit too overwhelming for my taste. The yellow was on the edge enough without falling off ;-) I also purchased a pair for a friend who absolutely loves his (he, too needed a half size up from his usual size) BOTTOM LINE: if, like me, you hate having hot feet but you like to walk and want more support and coverage than the average sandal, AND you don't mind being a bit out there with your footwear, these are an excellent choice. Order one half size larger than you would normally wear and you should be fine
