Normally, I love Keen shoes for both their styling and fit. I know if I buy a size 5.5, it will fit and feel great. The Uneek left me with a less then stellar walking experience. The shoe runs small all around. I read that on the Keen site and ordered a half size up, which worked. The downside was that the shoe was moderately uncomfortable. The arch support just doesn't seem to be in the right spot for me. Additionally, while the webbing looks really cool and unique (or "uneek"), it does require the base of the shoe to show a quarter of an inch or so all around, makes makes one's foot look wide—and this comes from somebody with a super narrow foot. I am keeping the sandals to wear around the house and short runs to the store, but I'll go back to my old Keen sandals when I know I'll be walking a lot and need a more comfortable shoe.

Love the fit of these shoes, HOWEVER... they squeak loudly on hard surfaces. NO one mentions this on any review?? Will be ordering a different color with (hopefully, according to the pix) a different sole. Hope that fixes it.

If I had robust, healthy feet and great circulation, these would probably be my go-to sandals for warm weather. The nylon-esque cords distribute pressure nicely and are wonderfully airing. However, my circulation is not that good and the row of knots between sides and upper hit my bunion right on top. These are one of the Keen sandals that are NOT too low on the instep, but probably would have worked for me if they didn't hurt the skin on my feet and the bones in my toe.

I ordered a half size larger because of other reviews and then discovered I should not have. But the sandal does not offer enough ankle and foot support because of the bungee cord design. And it's not attractive!

As others have commented, the footbed is very soft and comfortable. I would have liked a little arch support, but overall they are surprisingly comfortable. You are very aware of the "loop" material, but not in a bad way. That said, I don't buy into the idea that they're so ugly that they're cool. They just look clunk. The colors are good, but I just don't know when I'd wear these. They just aren't very flattering.

I got these in Black and Mineral size 11. I was anxious to wear them. Yes, they are a bit ugly but a cute ugly. I get compliments when I wear them. I find them uncomfortable. They dig into my 3rd toe on each foot and gave me a blister. They are too tight around the heel and after a few hours I have to take them off. I tried to loosen them but I did it wasn't enough to make a difference. There is no arch in them and are more like a water shoe, I guess. They are not my go to shoe. I have to consider if I want my feet to be sore for a few days after wearing them a few hours. Disappointed.

I had high hopes for these shoes. But the soles are pretty flat, with not only little arch support, but very little cushioning. I felt as if I was walking barefoot. I also had no support on the front half of my foot. All of the "hold" on the shoe is up at the top of the shoe. I'm sad.

I have 5 pair of Keen Uneeks, all size 7, all fit perfect. This would have been my sixth and in a blue that was perfect. They are too small. The fit was odd and my toes touched the end. Gorgeous shoe, though. Wish it fit.

Have a couple of pairs of Keens that I wear frequently. Thought these looked cute and would be keepers. However, as someone else mentioned, they are on the snug side, even though I ordered my normal size 8, I'm surprised at the fit. For the price, I don't know that they will stretch enough to be comfortable, and the arch support just isn't there for me. Sad to return these.

Loved the fit - toe box wide and comfy, heel narrow, the top of the toe area high enough so no rubbing - a perfect fit for me. The woven part was soft and comfortable. Low to moderate arch support. The appearance was as shown online, fine for summer. Would have loved to keep these but the heel footbed was the deal breaker: it was sunken, lower than the front of the sandal, with very hard plastic feel, so no support for the heel. More uncomfortable to me than walking barefoot and strained my Achilles tendon. Fans of other reverse-footbeds shoes (I think Birkenstocks may be like this?) may like this sandal. But it was horrible for me, so had to return. If they changed the footbed design, I would love these.

Difficult to put on, the opening to slide your foot in is tight, the band on my heal felt stiff. Also a little too funky for me, which is what I really like about them, I thought. And the fit rubbed into my ankle bones and skin.

I'm returning these Keen's. They really looked terrible on my feet, plus the heel strap pushed my feet forward. This left a noticeable gap in the back and my toes uncomfortably. I should have followed the reviews.

They fit great, sized up a half size as I do with all keen. Fit great, but not soft! I have an older pair of uneek, super soft, feel fantastic! Again, Keen is cheaping out! Not the quality they were, hard, not comfy at all. Very disappointed. Zappos is great however! Thanks!

The style is interesting and innovative in a nautical hipster way. However, the shoe offers none of the support in a traditional Keen. The synthetic upper allows no breathability, and though the sides are open, my feet sweat unusually bad in these shoes. Wishing I had sent them back instead of hoping they might work. I spend a lot of my workday on my feet, and feel these are more of a novelty shoe. Too bad, since they do have a uniqueness of design.

I loved the look of this shoe and I was so disappointed that it didn't work out for me. It is very narrow and the heel strap was nearly impossible to get over my heel. I've worn Keen sandals for years and can't believe I had this problem. Since there is no wider or larger size in a Women's version, I tried a similar color in Men's and it was a bit wider, but again the heel strap needed a shoe horn to get on my foot. So disappointed! Returned both!

There are super flat and my feet really splay out more than is comfortable! If you don't need any support I could see them being comfortable, but they just don't work for my high-maintenance feet.

The color was too bold and they were heavy for a summer shoe. Not what I expected from Keen. Going to try the Bali.

A friend had these on one day (in black), and they looked so comfortable and unique that I had to get some. They are indeed very comfortable for walking, and I get compliments on them. However, they made my feet stink so badly! A combination of wet dog and vinegar, if you can imagine. As a matter of fact, once day when I got home from work and kicked of my shoes (these shoes), my husband sniffed and said 'What do I smell? It's awful!' When I told him it was my feet, he insisted I put the shoes back on. :-) None of my other shoes do this to me, so it must be some kind of reaction between my foot and the material on the footbed. Too bad because I really liked them, but they've gotta go.

I love the comfort of these shoes, but they are poorly made. The rubber is already shredding after wearing for ONE WEEK.

I loved these on the computer but bought the blue ones in size 8 and they were ugly on my feet. I thought maybe it was just the color (purple hart)so I sent them back and got a different color, capri breeze,and they were still ugly. I think if it was cut a little lower at the top it would help the look. The idea is fabulous but not a good look, for me anyway.

I wanted to like these. They're cute and look like they're a great casual spring and summer shoe. My feet are a little on the wide side, and putting these on was almost impossible. It would be nice if there was a way to unbuckle the strap to slide your foot in easier. Zappos' return process is great, and these are going back.

These sandals fit true to size, but after wearing them for a few hours I had blisters on the top of my toes from where the rope was rubbing. They have very little arch support and are not comfortable if you plan to be on your feet a lot. If I could, I would return them, but I wore them outside.

These shoes run small and don't have much arch support at all. I have several pair of Keens and have traveled the world with them - so was disappointed in this style.

Difficult to get on, and, well, it's ugly as sin.
